Abstract

The survey propagation algorithm is the most effective information propagation algorithm for solving the 3-SAT problem. It can effectively solve the satisfiability problem when it converges. However, when the factor graph structure is complex, the algorithm often does not converge and the solution fails. In order to give a theoretical explanation to this phenomenon and to analyze the convergence of the survey propagation algorithm effectively, a connected treewidth model of the propositional formula was constructed by using the connected tree decomposition method, and the connected treewidth of the factor graph was calculated. The relationship between the connected treewidth and the convergence of the survey propagation algorithm is established, and the convergence judgment condition of the survey propagation algorithm based on the connected tree width is given. Through experimental analysis, the results show that the method is effective, which is of great significance for analyzing the convergence analysis of other information propagation algorithms. Abstract

Abstract

This thesis is devoted to the study of the geometry of complex projective manifolds with positive anticanonical bundle. One of the main goals is the classification of these manifolds via an analysis of their anticanonical systems and their geometric structure.The first part of the thesis aims to classify a class of manifolds which appears as a natural generalisation of Fano manifolds, namely manifolds with nef anticanonical bundle. The classification of this class of manifolds is more complicated, as new phenomena arise and many results for Fano varieties no longer hold in this case. We focus on rationally connected threefolds with nef anticanonical divisor, and more precisely on the delicate case where the anticanonical divisor is not semi-ample. Our main results are the following:- a complete classification when the anticanonical system has no fixed divisor;- a geometric description when the anticanonical system has a fixed divisor: after a finite sequence of flops, the threefold admits a fibration over the projective line. Certain cases are classified according to the geometry of the anticanonical divisor of the general fibre.The second part of the thesis addresses a family of Fano fourfolds with remarkable geometric properties, namely the moduli spaces Y of semi-stable rank-two torsion-free sheaves with c_1=-K_S, c_2=2 on a polarised degree-one del Pezzo surface (S,-K_S). As Fano manifolds have been classified only up to dimension three, and few examples of Fano fourfolds with large Picard number which are not products of del Pezzo surfaces are known, the geometry of such an example is worth studying. Below are the main results of this part:- the base scheme of the anticanonical system of Y;- a description of the action of the Bertini involution of Y on a special surface in Y.; Cette thèse est consacrée à l'étude de la géométrie des variétés complexes projectives à fibré anticanonique positif. Un des objectifs principaux est la classification de ces variétés via une analyse de leur système anticanonique et de leur structure géométrique.La première partie a pour but de classifier une classe de variétés qui apparaissent comme une généralisation naturelle des variétés de Fano, à savoir les variétés à fibré anticanonique nef. La classification de cette classe de variétés est plus compliquée car des nouveaux phénomènes se produisent et de nombreux résultats pour les variétés de Fano ne restent plus valables dans ce cas. On se concentre sur les variétés rationnellement connexes de dimension trois à fibré anticanonique nef, et plus précisément, sur le cas le plus délicat où le diviseur anticanonique n'est pas semiample. Nous établirons les résultats suivants :- une classification complète dans le cas où le système anticanonique n'a pas de diviseur fixe ;- une description géométrique dans le cas où le système anticanonique a un diviseur fixe : après une séquence finie de flops, la variété admet une fibration au-dessus de la droite projective. Certains cas sont classifiés selon la géométrie du diviseur anticanonique de la fibre générale.Dans la deuxième partie, nous nous intéressons à une famille de variétés de Fano de dimension quatre avec des propriétés géométriques remarquables, à savoir les espaces de modules Y de faisceaux semistables, sans torsion et de rang deux sur une surface polarisée (S,-K_S) de del Pezzo de degré un, tels que c_1=-K_S, c_2=2. L'étude de cette famille de variétés est motivée par le fait que les variétés de Fano n’ont été classifiées qu'en dimension au plus trois, et que peu d'exemples de variétés de Fano de dimension quatre de grand nombre de Picard sont connus (en dehors des produits des surfaces de del Pezzo). Les résultats principaux sont les suivants :- le schéma de base du système linéaire anticanonique de Y ; - une description de l'action de l'involution de Bertini sur Y restreinte à une surface particulière incluse dans Y.

Abstract

This thesis investigated the influence of neurobiological mechanisms in economic and financial risk taking, and their possible roles in understanding market stability. The evidences about risk preferences, trading behaviours and physiological responses, which were found in our laboratory and field experiments, supported a feedback theory. Our physiological responses under certain circumstances may exaggerate the emotions of exuberance and pessimism during market boom and bust times, reducing our abilities to engage in rational decisions.
