Coal seam fire area is widely distributed in western coal area of China. When there is a strong hydraulic connection between the burned rock aquifer and other aquifers in the coal seam fire area, it will pose a serious threat to the safe mining of coal mine. Taking the 1-2 upper coal concealed burning area in the southeast corner of Ningtiaota Coal Mine as an example, based on various past hydro-geological data, the ancient topography before the deposition of Baode Formation was restored, and the stratum characteristics of the concealed fire area and the geological characteristics of the compensation channel drainage were analyzed. The factor analysis method is used to extract the characteristic factors reflecting the water abundance of burnt rock and weathered bedrock aquifer, and the comprehensive water-rich zone of burnt rock and weathered bedrock aquifer is obtained through GIS superposition method. The results show: the 1-2 upper coal seam burned from the early Cretaceous to the Pliocene, the development of ancient gullies provides favorable conditions for the formation of spontaneous combustion and burning metamorphic rocks in coal seams; the burnt rock aquifer and weathered bedrock aquifer in the concealed burning area are basically connected together to form a unified aquifer; the overburden rock combination relationship on 1-2 upper coal concealed burning area can be divided into three types, namely burnt rock-weathered bedrock combination, coal seam-burnt rock-weathered bedrock combination, coal seam-burnt rock-normal bedrock-weathered bedrock combination. Strong water abundance areas are mainly distributed in a small area in the north and west of the burning area, the medium water abundance areas are distributed in the burning area in a belt along the northwest-southeast direction; the eastern and northern areas of the concealed burning area are relatively weak in water abundance; the weak water abundance areas are distributed outside concealed burning area. Compared with the water inflow of underground water exploration and release boreholes, the evaluation of water abundance is in good agreement with the practice.

ObjectiveTo explore the association between dietary retinol intake and prognosis of patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.MethodsThe study enrolled 388 cases with primary esophageal squamous cell carcinoma that was pathologically diagnosed in the first affiliated hospital of Fujian medical university and the cancer hospital of Fujian medical university from July 2014 to August 2019. Chi-square test was used to determine the relationship between retinol and patients' characteristics. Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test was used to analyze the relationship between retinol and multiple nutrients. Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to explore the association between dietary retinol and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.ResultsPatients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma did not significantly differ in gender， age， TNM stage， tumor length or nutrient intake by different retinol intakes （P>0.05）. In the paper, N1212 working face was taken as the research object, the law and mechanism of surface cracks in shallow coal seam mining were studied by means of field investigation, dynamic monitoring and numerical simulation. The results show that the development degree of surface cracks in shallow coal seam mining is high, mainly “step” cracks, and the in-plane cracks are distributed at parallel intervals with an interval distance of 8-15 m. The cracks have two kinds of activity characteristics: “opening-closing” and “only opening and disconnecting”; the stress evolution and failure in the overlying strata extend forward in the form of “arch”, and the overlying rock fissures and surface cracks are connected with each other; the advanced generation and activity characteristics of surface cracks are closely related to surface movement and deformation, surface “tension-compression” deformation transformation and slope slip. The research results can provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of ground collapse in coal mining areas.

Peripheral nerve injury often leads to the loss of neurological functions due to the slow regeneration rate and inefficient functional reconstruction. Current clinical treatments using nerve guidance conduits (NGCs) still face challenges in providing a biomimetic microenvironment to promote nerve repair. Herein, decellularized extracellular matrix (dECM) is obtained from porcine Achilles tendon and crosslinked with 3‐amino‐4‐methoxybenzoic acid grafted gelatin (PAMB‐G) to obtain conductive hydrogels. Then, a novel nerve guidance conduit is developed by assembling poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) conduit and conductive ECM@PAMB‐G hydrogel. This bioengineered ECM@PAMB‐G/PVA conduit demonstrated excellent cytocompatibility, electrical conductivity, mechanical properties, and biodegradability. In vitro experiments confirmed that the ECM@PAMB‐G hydrogel significantly promotes the proliferation and migration of PC12 cells and primary Schwann cells, as well as the growth of dorsal root ganglion (DRG) axons. Furthermore, in vivo studies in a rat sciatic nerve model exhibited improvements in axonal regeneration, Schwann cell migration, myelin sheath formation, and functional recovery mediated by the ECM@PAMB‐G/PVA conduit. This work demonstrates the synergistic effects of extracellular matrix and electrical cues in enhancing peripheral nerve regeneration. The ECM@PAMB‐G/PVA nerve guidance conduit shows potential as an alternative to autografts for supporting peripheral nerve reconstruction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Although the petals of Rosa rugosa are rich in flavonoids and their bioactivity has a significant impact on human health, the flavonoid content decreases during flower development. In this study, R. rugosa 'Feng hua' was used to investigate the effects of the melatonin foliar spray on enhancing the quality of rose by focusing on major flavonoids. The results showed that the contents of total flavonoids in rose petals at the full bloom stage induced by melatonin obeyed a bell-shaped curve, with a maximum at 0.3 mM, indicating the concentration-dependent up-regulation of flavonoid biosynthesis. In the treatment with 0.3 mM melatonin, metabolomic analyses showed that the concentrations of ten main flavonoids were identified to be increased by melatonin induction, with high levels and increases observed in three flavonols and two anthocyanins. KEGG enrichment of transcriptomic analysis revealed a remarkable enrichment of DEGs in flavonoid and flavonol biosynthesis, such as Rr4CL, RrF3H, and RrANS. Furthermore, functional validation using virus-induced gene silencing technology demonstrated that Rr4CL3 is the crucial gene regulating flavonoid biosynthesis in response to the stimulant of melatonin. This study provides insights into the exogenous melatonin regulation mechanism of biosynthesis of flavonoids, thereby offering potential industrial applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Attention mechanism has been a successful method for multimodal affective analysis in recent years. Despite the advances, several significant challenges remain in fusing language and its nonverbal context information. One is to generate sparse attention coefficients associated with acoustic and visual modalities, which helps locate critical emotional semantics. The other is fusing complementary cross‐modal representation to construct optimal salient feature combinations of multiple modalities. A Conditional Transformer Fusion Network is proposed to handle these problems. Firstly, the authors equip the transformer module with CNN layers to enhance the detection of subtle signal patterns in nonverbal sequences. Secondly, sentiment words are utilised as context conditions to guide the computation of cross‐modal attention. As a result, the located nonverbal features are not only salient but also complementary to sentiment words directly. Experimental results show that the authors' method achieves state‐of‐the‐art performance on several multimodal affective analysis datasets. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract Given the increasing trend of using wind energy in cities, the utilization of distributed wind energy in cities has been widely concerned by researchers. The related research on the micro-site selection of wind turbines, a sub-project of the Task27 project of the International energy agency, was continued in this paper. The wind speed data of an observation station near Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, with a range of 10–19 m were collected. The evaluation included wind direction, Weibull parameter characteristics, and turbulence intensity. The potential energy output in 10 different heights was estimated using commercial horizontal and vertical axis wind turbines of the same power. Results showed that the following: the three-parameter Weibull distribution model can well describe the statistical properties of the wind speed in this site. The wind speed distribution model constructed from extrapolation parameters reflects the wind speed statistical properties out of detection positions to a certain extent. The wind energy density of the vertical axis wind turbine is slightly lower than that of the horizontal axis wind turbine. Furthermore, more power can be generated from March to May.
