In the twenty-first century, the Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly becoming one of the most influential technologies that connect billions of devices to the Internet. The importance and rapid growth of IoT technology make it an undeniably significant area of study in the contemporary world. This study evaluates the performance and research trends of East Asian countries in the area of Internet of Things (IoT) using scientometric tools. This paper collected 1146 data from Scopus over a period of 5 years (2016–2020). MS Excel, VOSviewer, and Biblioshiny were used to analyze the data using various Scientometric indicators. Cluster analysis and network visualization techniques are employed to evaluate the data and results are presented in tables and graphs. The finding shows that the topic has been exponential growth in recent years. China continues to top the IoT research rankings. The joint author contributed the most publications, and "Electronics (Switzerland)" is the most preferred journal for publication, followed by IEEE journals. In addition, the study found significant growth in smart environments such as "smart factories," "machine learning," "smart cities," "wireless sensor networks," "blockchains," etc., which pose significant concerns for many researchers. The study of indigenous knowledge in India has evolved over the years and gained significant importance as a vital area of research. This study aimed to explore the evolution of the research landscape on indigenous knowledge in India over the last twenty years (2003-2022), focusing on growth trends and knowledge mapping through Scientometric tools. The study collected 1,980 data from the Scopus database, indexed between 2003 and 2022. Initially, the analysis focused on measuring the research growth and performance of the key players. Then, the study performed scientific knowledge mapping, visualizing the relationships between different concepts and topics within the field. The findings reveal a significant growth in indigenous knowledge research in India. The study also identified key research themes, including traditional medicine, agriculture, biodiversity conservation, etc. In the early two decades, research was conducted on natural resource management, ethnoveterinary practices, ethnomedicine, biodiversity, tribal communities, and traditional healers, etc. The most recent research topics were COVID-19, sustainability, livelihood, ethnopharmacology, climate change, herbal drugs, etc. Research on medicinal plants and ethnobotany was the most influential in the last two decades. Furthermore, the study revealed a highly interconnected network of authors and institutions, with a few key players dominating the field. The study concludes by highlighting the need for further research on indigenous knowledge in India, particularly in areas such as intellectual property rights, geographical identification, preservation, and the role of indigenous knowledge in sustainable development. In this investigation, chitosan functionalized Citrus limetta peel biomass (ChCLP) was synthesized for adsorption of Pb (II). Results of energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) confirmed the chitosan coating and adsorption of Pb (II). Functional groups like -NH2, C-H and -OH groups were present on the ChCLP surface. The surface of ChCLP was observed to be rough and porous. Langmuir isotherm was best fitted in the adsorption data. This indicated toward the monolayer adsorption of Pb (II) onto the homogeneous surface of the adsorbent. The suitability of pseudo-second order (PSO) kinetic model indicated chemisorption of Pb (II) onto ChCLP. Thermodynamic study revealed endothermic and spontaneous Pb (II) adsorption. Values of the diffusion coefficient and dimensionless numbers indicated that Pb (II) adsorption was mix diffusion and transfer controlled. It was found that both the experimental and predicted values for ChCLP was close to each other showing a high R2 value in the range of 0.94 − 0.98. Results showed that ChCLP has high Pb (II) removal capacity (99.8%) at 100 mg/L and 10 g/L ChCLP dosage. This research paper mainly focused on the impact of spiritual folk songs on mental exhaustion caused by various activities related to a person's daily life. For this experimental study 120 samples (46 male and 74 female) were selected randomly from the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Single group pre-test and post-test design was implemented in this study. After listening the spiritual folk songs for 30 days, the post-test was conducted. It was found that the mean scores of Pre-tests and Post-test were M = 44.84 and M = 31.47 respectively. The value of 't' was M = 14.474 which was highly significant at 0.01 level of confidence. The findings revealed that spiritual folk music had a significant impact on mental exhaustion. Thus, listening to spiritual folk songs enhances people's mental happiness and spiritual peace, which reduces their mental exhaustion. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study presents a significant advancement in the realm of information science by exploring and validating a semiotic scale tailored for library software interfaces. Employing a design‐based approach, the investigation identifies 14 crucial semiotic elements specific to library software interfaces, forming the cornerstone of its theoretical framework. The process of developing the semiotic scale involves creating user personas, conducting a comprehensive semiotic analysis, and engaging in productive collaboration with experts. Through meticulous evaluation and refinement, achieved by expert assessments and user testing, the scale offers actionable insights for guiding interface enhancement. The study's findings encompass a breadth of revelations, including user needs, user personas, outcomes of semiotic analysis, criteria development, and evaluation results across a diverse range of library software interfaces. Serving as a valuable tool for interface designers, the semiotic scale facilitates the alignment of design choices with user preferences and requirements. Its inherent adaptability ensures applicability across a spectrum of library software interfaces. In this paper, undoped BaBi2−x−yNb2ErxYbyO9 (BBN), Er3+ doped BBN, and a series of Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped BBN ferroelectric ceramic is synthesized by the solid-state method to study the structural, dielectric, ferroelectric, and energy storage behavior of the prepared ceramic. XRD spectra revealed orthorhombic geometry and Fmmm phase group of each prepared ceramic. SEM micrograph shows dense microstructures similar to square-shaped structures. Two FTIR bands at 619 and 822 cm−1 are observed, displaying the characteristic peaks of the Aurivillius phase. Four Raman bands are detected for undoped BBN, while twelve are visible in Er3+/Yb3+ doped BBN compositions. Further, this work utilizes a comparable method to correlate Nb–O stretching frequencies with their corresponding bond lengths using Herschbach's exponential function. Temperature-dependent dielectric studies show considerable dispersion below and above maximum temperature (Tm), and the dielectric constant (εʹ) decreases with an increase in frequency. The dielectric loss (ɛʺ) curves are quite diffused, and shifts in the maxima with frequency have been observed, thus validating the relaxor behavior of all the prepared BBN compositions. The slimmer PE curves were obtained under moderate electric fields ranging from 75 to 100 kV/cm. The energy storage parameters (W, Wrec, η) are improved with increasing applied electric field. The energy storage efficiency (η) obtained for undoped, Er3+ doped, and Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped BBN ceramics are 78.25%, 83.39%, and 90.87%, respectively. The energy storage parameters revealed good temperature stability from 303 to 415 K, indicating that the synthesized material might aid in developing modern electronic equipment for energy storage applications. The lead-free ceramics K0.5Na0.5NbO3: x wt% Er3+ (x = 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) were produced via solid-state method. The ceramic was sintered at 1100 °C to produce a pure-phase perovskite with an orthorhombic structure. No extra phases in the XRD spectra demonstrate that all the Er3+ ions have dispersed into the host lattice. At room temperature, PL emission spectra were examined under the wavelengths 488 and 980 nm. In both emission spectra, green emission bands (528 and 549 nm) and slightly faint red emission bands (662 nm) were found. Observing the effect of pump power revealed that two photons are involved in the emission process. The time decay profile indicates an average lifetime of Er3+ ions is 25.05 μs. The ferroelectric hysteresis loop at room temperature showed decent shapes with good remnant. Thus, by combining the optical and ferroelectric properties, KNN may have potential applications to be employed in optoelectronic devices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Solar energy is a widely used, cost-effective, environmentally friendly, clean, and carbon-free renewable energy source that reduces reliance on coal, electricity, and other sources. It is considered the most valuable among all renewable energy sources available. Solar energy is widely used for a range of applications, including water heating in domestic and industrial settings, with flat-plate solar collectors (FPSCs) being a popular choice due to their simple design, ease of installation and operation, and lower maintenance requirements compared to other types of solar collectors. This review attempts to provide attention to the up-to-date technological advancement and enhancement in the performance of water heater using design features of FPSC such as flow tube design and shape of collector, absorber coating and material, glazing material, and insulation used. This review aims to offer a useful method for assessing and contrasting various methods of heat transfer enhancement, ultimately leading to the selection of the most suitable option. Additionally, the study highlights the research gaps and suggests potential areas for future improvement, which is expected to assist researchers in advancing this technology further. This study aims to assess the familiarity, understanding, and perceptions of immersive technologies such as Virtual Environments (VEs), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) among library professionals in India. It seeks to determine the importance of Metaverse literacy for librarians, explore their attitudes toward integrating Metaverse concepts into library services, identify potential benefits, and examine perceived barriers hindering the adoption of Metaverse technologies in libraries. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving a stratified random sampling method to gather data from library professionals across various universities and colleges in India. Familiarity with VEs, AR, and VR technologies was high, with mean scores above 4.0 for most items, indicating respondents' strong interest and understanding. The importance of Metaverse literacy was emphasized, with high mean scores (above 4.2) on its significance for enhancing library services and user engagement. Critical barriers identified included cost (mean = 4.13), lack of expertise (mean = 4.01), and privacy concerns (mean = 3.51). The results underscore the need for targeted training programs and resource allocation to support adopting immersive library technologies.
