Základními východisky projektu je pochopení potřeb mentálně postižených osob a zhodnocení špatně využitelného záplavového území. Studie navrhuje vznik parku aktivit, ukázkové zahrady a objektu volnočasového a integračního centra. Centrum vytváří důležitý bod na trase z centra města do sousedního lázeňského města a propojuje dvě významné oblasti ve městě, které sdružují různá kulturní zařízení a sportoviště. Návrh protipovodňových opatření se vyvíjel od varianty s částečným navýšením terénu a umístěním protipovodňové hráze až po přírodě blízké opatření v podobně terénního valu, který neomezuje přirozené procesy na řece Bečvě a zachovává aktivní záplavovou zónu v téměř nezměněné podobě. Stavební program byl zpracován ve dvou variantách. V obou verzích je stěžejní kreativní kavárna, která je propojená s gastrodílnou. Ve stavebním programu A je kladen důraz na zahradnictví, program B se více zaměřuje na kreativní dílny. Návrh budovy je vystavěn na lapidárním principu souhry samostatných boxů s jasně danými funkcemi a volného spojujícího prostoru. Základem je jednoduchá orientace a volný, pro všechny přístupný prostor. Zahradní a parkové úpravy v řešeném území jsou voleny tak, aby plně podpořily charakter plánovaného volnočasového centra. Návrh je tvořen geometricky se střídajícími segmenty ploch o různé funkci, které spojuje promenáda vedoucí po koruně hráze., The basic starting point of the project is to understand needs of mentally disabled people and an evaluation of a badly usable floodplain. The draft proposes creation of an activity park, an exemplary garden and a leisure- and integration centre object. The centre generates an important point on the route from the city centre to the neighbouring spa town and connects two significant areas in the town, which associate various cultural and sports facilities. The design of flood-protection works was evolving from a version with a partial increase of the terrain and placement of a flood-protection dyke up to the nature-close arrangements in a terrain-dyke form, which doesn´t inhibit natural processes of the Bečva river and maintains an active flood zone in an almost unchanged shape. The building program was formulated in two versions. A creative café connected with a gastro-workshop is fundamental in the both versions. In the building program A a horticulture is emphasised, the building program B is more aimed at a creative-workshops. The concept of the building is constructed on the terse principal of harmony between individual boxes with clearly defined functions and free, connecting space. An easy orientation and a free, for everybody open space is the base of the building. The garden- and park-arrangements in the studied area were chosen in the way to fully support the character of the planned leisure-centre. The draft is composed by geometrically alternating areas with different functions, which are connected by a promenade going along the dyke-crown.

Bronx - změna adresy (přestavba káznice) Diplomová práce představuje architektonickou studii nového využití objektu káznice a jeho nejbližšího okolí v brněnském „Bronxu“. Káznice s kaplí Nanebevzetí Panny Marie z 18.století je významná stavba o velikosti přibližně jednoho městského bloku. Návrh zahrnuje úpravy původního objektu káznice a jeho nástavbu; odstranění nevhodných přístaveb a vytvoření nových objektů v návaznosti na káznici a veřejná prostranství. Soubor budov je řešen se zřetelem na alternativní kulturu a alternativní formy bydlení, které by měly pomoci v uzdravování romského ghetta. Nové rozmístění a velikosti objektů vytváří dvě nová náměstí. Zároveň dovolí odhalit káznici v její původní formě. Na jižní straně je navržena výšková budova jako dominanta v území., Bronx - address substitution (reconstruction house of correction) The graduation thesis deals with an architectural study of a new utilization of the top security prison building and its sorrounding in „the Bronx“ of Brno. The prison with the chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin from the 18th century is a significant building of about one city block large. The project includes the modification of the original prison building and its extension, the removal of the unsuitable parts of the building and building of new objects connected to the prison and public places. The group of buildings has been designed with the regard to the alternative culture and forms of living places, which would lead to healing of the Roman ghetto. New arrangement and size of objects form two new squares. It reveals the prison in its original shape at the same time. On the south site there is a tall building designed as a dominating feature of the area.
