We have systematically studied the level density parameter, nuclear level density and decay width of neutron and fission of superheavy nuclei. This paper is validated by comparing with available experiments for 2 3 6 U and 2 4 0 Pu. The angular dependence of level density parameter, level densities and ratio of Γ n and Γ f the thermal excitation energy (U) have been studied in the superheavy region 1 0 4 ≤ Z ≤ 1 1 8. The role of entrance channel parameter on decay width of neutron and fission has been studied both in cold and hot fusion reactions in the superheavy region 1 0 4 ≤ Z ≤ 1 1 8. Systematic variation of Γ n and Γ f is observed in both the cases. Finally, predicted Γ n / Γ tot for the synthesis of superheavy nuclei Z = 1 1 9 and 120. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We have studied the [sup.54-60]Fe-induced fusion reactions to synthesize the superheavy nuclei[sup.296-302]120 by studying the compound nucleus formation probability, survival probability, and evaporation residue cross-sections. The comparison of the evaporation residue cross-section for different targets reveals that the evaporation residue cross-section is larger for projectile target combination [sup.58]Fe+[sup.243]Pu[right arrow][sup.301]120. We have identified the most probable [sup.58]Fe-induced fusion reactions to synthesize superheavy nuclei [sup.296-302]120. In this work, we delved into the intriguing realm of nuclear physics by investigating fusion reactions initiated by 7 0 Zn projectiles colliding with various stable isotopes of thorium nuclei, including 2 2 7 − 2 3 2 , 2 3 4 Th. Our primary objective was the synthesis of the superheavy element Z = 1 2 0. To achieve this, we employed an advanced statistical model to evaluate the evaporation residue cross-sections. Remarkably, we observed that the fusion reaction between 7 0 Zn and 2 3 1 Th exhibited the highest evaporation residue cross-sections, reaching a peak value. Furthermore, the 3n channel within this fusion reaction yielded substantially larger evaporation cross-sections, with a notable value of 0.89 picobarns. The predicted cross-sections fall within the measurable range, making them highly valuable for experimental endeavors aimed at synthesizing the superheavy element Z = 1 2 0. This research not only contributes to our understanding of nuclear reactions but also holds promise for expanding our knowledge of the heaviest elements in the periodic table, potentially opening new frontiers in nuclear science. We explored one and two proton radioactivity in 141–229Tm nucleus isotopes. An effective liquid drop model is used to calculate the proton decay half-lives. The WKB integral is used to calculate the penetration probability. The half-lives of one and two proton radioactivity are compared to those of β ± and α decay. Furthermore, proton-decay, beta-decay, and alpha-decay half-lives are compared to experimental results. The result derived from the current investigation is consistent with previous experimental data. Further, we have identified potential proton emitters and β - emitters in the unexplored regions of mass number range 141 ≤ Z ≤ 146 and 48 β - -emitters in the mass number range 182 ≤ Z ≤ 229 for Thulium nuclei. The existence of positive Q values for these isotopes was estimated through theoretical calculations, as experimental data on mass excesses in these regions are currently unavailable. The spontaneous fission (SF) half-lives of all 96 experimentally accessible SF emitters were examined. The SF emitters are classified as even Z-even A, odd Z-even A, odd Z-odd A and even Z-odd A. A plot of log T 1 ∕ 2 + k δ m versus Z 2 ∕ A demonstrates a straight line, where k is variable. The log T 1 ∕ 2 values produced in this study are compared to all other semi-empirical relations such as Ren et al., [Nucl. Phys. A 759, 64 (2005)], Xu et al., [Phys. Rev. C 78, 044329 (2008)], Santhosh et al., [Nucl. Phys. A 832, 220 (2010)] and Karpov et al., [Int. J. Mod. Phys. E 21, 1250013 (2012)] available in the literature. When compared to earlier semi-empirical equations accessible in the literature, the new formula shows reduced uncertainty in standard deviation in the case of Odd Z-even A and even Z-Odd A nuclei. When compared to other sets of combinations (even Z-even A, and odd Z-odd A nuclei), this study more accurately reproduces the experimental SF half-lives for even Z-odd A and odd Z-even A nuclei with smaller σ in the atomic number range 9 0 ≤ Z ≤ 1 12 and mass number range 23 2 ≤ A ≤ 2 84. Background: When an alpha 2 adrenergic agonist and a local anesthetic are coupled, the analgesic effect's quality and endurance are enhanced. While clonidine's effects on local anesthetics have been thoroughly investigated, there aren't many studies that show how epidural dexmedetomidine affects the same. Materials and Methods: The patients were randomly assigned to two groups, one receiving ropivacaine with clonidine (RC) and the other receiving ropivacaine with dexmedetomidine (RD), Group RC was administered 15 ml of 0.75% ropivacaine with 1 microgram per kilogram of clonidine, while group RD was given 15 ml of 0.75% ropivacaine with 1 microgram per kilogram of dexmedetomidine epidurally. Results: The dexmedetomidine group showed significantly improved start (RD-7.53 ± 1.81, RC-10.93 ± 1.96) and duration (RD-317 ± 29.5, RC-285 ± 37) of sensory blockade sedation. Hemodynamic alterations and the start of motor blockage did not differ significantly. Conclusion: Similar to clonidine, dexmedetomidine works as an efficient adjuvant to ropivacaine for epidural anesthesia at doses of 1 ⃬g/kg. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
