Tri‐NHC PtII complexes, [Pt(LC)3Cl]Cl, 1 and [Pt(LC)2(LCN)](BF4)2, 3 [L = 1‐(N‐methylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)‐3‐benzylimidazol‐2‐ylidene] and the analogous di‐NHC complex [Pt(LC)(LCN)Cl]Cl, 2 have been isolated and crystallographically identified. The N‐benzimidazole NHC ligand L acts either as a monodentate carbene C‐donor or a C^N chelating hybrid, denoted as LC and LCN, respectively. Mixed coordination modes are found in both 2 and 3. Complexes 1–3 exhibit deep blue to green emission in solution and/or in solid state. PtII tris‐ and bis(N‐methylbenzimidazole‐NHC) complexes 1–3 have been synthesized. 1 and 3 are among the rare examples of tri‐NHC PtII complexes. The NHC ligand demonstrates high flexibility in being monodentate as a carbene or a C^N chelate. Co‐existence of these two coordination modes is found in 2 and 3. Abstract: The oxidative addition of I2 to molybdenum(0) complexes [Mo(CO)4(LNC)] (1–3; LNC1=1‐(benzothiazolin‐2‐yl)‐3‐allyl‐2‐ylidene; LNC2=1‐(benzothiazolin‐2‐yl)‐3‐benzylimidazol‐2‐ylidene; LNC3=1‐(benzothiazolin‐2‐yl)‐3‐methylimidazol‐2‐ylidene) afforded the first isolable and crystallographically elucidated seven‐coordinate MoII−diiodo complexes, [Mo(CO)3I2(LNC)] (4–6), with N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands. The application of complexes 1–6 as precatalysts for the epoxidation of cis‐cyclooctene with tert‐butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) as an oxidant has also been studied. Complexes 1–3 performed better than previously reported Mo0−carbonyl−NHC complexes, thereby producing the epoxide in 80–90 % yield after 24 h. Complexes 4–6 were superior to complexes 1–3. A catalytic [2+2+2] cyclotrimerization of unactivated internal alkynes providing cyclotrimerization products in excellent yields with high regioselectivity is described. The transformation is accomplished by using a simple catalytic mixture comprising Ni(acac)2, an imidazolium salt and a Grignard reagent at room temperature or 60 °C for 20 min or 1 h. To study the seismic behavior of sprayed concrete sandwich shear walls, quasi-static tests on seven specimens were carried out. The main parameters of specimens were wall thickness and boundary element. The test results indicate that the two-layer or three-layer concrete and their reinforcements of the sandwich shear wall work together to carry the vertical compressive force and the lateral loads. The specimens have two types of failure mode, i.e. compression-flexure failure and shear failure. Increasing the vertical reinforcement at the boundary elements leads to shear failure for specimens. The lateral force-displacement hysteretic loops of specimens have a certain extent of pinching. The ultimate drift ratios of specimens failed in compression-flexure are 1/76-1/103, and the ultimate drift ratio of the specimens with boundary elements is 1.3 times that of the specimens without boundary elements. Increasing the wall thickness has no effect on the ultimate drift ratio. The energy dissipation capacity of specimens failed in shear is smaller than that of the specimens failed in compression-flexure. The shear strength and the compressive-flexure strength of specimens can be calculated by current code formulas for concrete shear walls. The MSC Marc (2010) based non-linear finite element analysis results of the specimens, such as lateral force-displacement skeleton curves, crack patterns and load-carrying capacities are in good agreement with the test results. Cervical cancer (CC) is a growing health concern, emphasizing the need for reliable biomarkers in treatment selection and prognosis assessment. We analyzed gene expression profiles and clinicopathological data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) for CC. Using Consensus Cluster Plus, we applied machine learning to cluster the CC cohort. Differential analysis was performed using the edge R package, while weighted correlation network analysis (WGCNA) was conducted using the WGCNA package. Single-sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA) evaluated immune cell abundance and computed the m6Ascore. Western blot and Q-PCR validated the m6A score in CC. Common copy number variation alterations were observed in the 23 m6A-related genes in CC, and their mutation frequency was summarized in a waterfall chart. Patients were grouped into two clusters, m6AclusterA and m6AclusterB. Improved clinical outcomes were observed in m6AclusterA, while m6AclusterB exhibited higher infiltration of 14 immune cell types. WGCNA analysis generated seven integrated modules, enriched in several biological processes. Prognostic differential genes were used to generate two gene clusters (gene Cluster I and gene Cluster II). Using ssGSEA, the m6Ascore was calculated for each patient. Lower m6Ascore correlated with better clinical outcomes, lower gene mutation frequency, and wild-type status. We investigated the sensitivity of high and low m6Ascore to immunotherapy, visualized through violin and UMAP diagrams showcasing crosstalk among single-cell clusters. The key gene PFKFB4 showed higher expression in CC cell lines and tumor tissues compared to normal cells and tissue. Our study elucidates the role of m6A molecules in predicting prognosis, biological features, and appropriate treatment for CC patients.
