It is a well-known fact that inclusion and pseudo-order relations are two different concepts which are defined on the interval spaces, and we can define different types of convexities with the help of both relations. By means of pseudo-order relation, the present article deals with the new notions of convex functions which are known as left and right log-ss-convex interval-valued functions (IVFs) in the second sense. The main motivation of this study is to present new inequalities for left and right log-ss-convex-IVFs. Therefore, we establish some new Jensen-type, Hermite-Hadamard (HH)-type, and Hermite-Hadamard-Fejér (HH-Fejér)-type inequalities for this kind of IVF, which generalize some known results. To strengthen our main results, we provide nontrivial examples of left and right log-ss-convex IVFs.

Nowadays, more cars are being added to the roads, which increases the risk of deadly accidents and the average commuter's daily travel time. To address these issues, vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) were developed, facilitating communication both among vehicles and between vehicles and infrastructure. Due to the great mobility of vehicles, the primary issue in VANETs is the requirement for very short communication latency, particularly for applications related to safety. Moreover, security is a significant concern that arises from Because nodes share sensitive information with one another about themselves and their surroundings. The infrastructure-based elements defined as roadside units (RSU) were formulated to overcome this problem by allowing information to be transmitted amongst vehicles, which could then be used to increase system safety and efficiency. However, in order to achieve certain desired Quality of Service (QoS), such as service coverage, throughput, reduced latency, or energy consumption, there are primary obstacles that arise when implementing (RSUs). These obstacles include performance issues, data security during transfer, and overall cost considerations. This article introduces a thorough survey of Roadside Units (RSUs) in VANET networks, providing an examination of the current research trends in this field. The survey explores the strengths, weaknesses, specific scenarios, methods, topologies, and potential future improvements of RSUs. Additionally, the paper focuses on three key aspects of RSUs: deployment, management, and security, analyzing their prominent features, motivations, challenges, methodology aspects, real datasets, metrics, and performance measures. This research paper demonstrates a metamaterial (MTM) based sensing technique to detect various blood samples by analyzing their dielectric properties. The performance of this MTM-based sensor is evaluated with the help of mimicked human blood samples that closely resemble the dielectric properties of actual human blood samples. Moreover, the ISM band frequency of 2.4 GHz is chosen as one of the reference resonance frequencies due to its various industrial and medical applications. The resonating patch is developed on the FR-4 substrate with a dimension of 10 × 20 mm2 that provides sharp reference resonances of 2.4 and 4.72 GHz for the spectra of the transmission coefficient with a good quality factor (Q-factor). The MTM sensor can detect the mimicked blood samples with a maximum frequency deviation of up to 650 MHz at 2.4 GHz and up to 850 MHz at 4.72 GHz, with maximum sensitivity of 0.917 and 0.707, respectively. The measured results using the prototype of the sensor support the simulation result with good agreement, indicating high sensing capability. Due to its high sensitivity, figure of merit (FoM), and frequency shifting with dielectric property changes in blood samples, the developed MTM-based sensor can be implemented effectively for quick sensing of infected blood samples and biomedical applications. A novel, compact, monopole apple-shaped, triple-band metamaterial-printed wearable antenna backed by a uniplanar compact electromagnetic bandgap (UC-EBG) structure is introduced in this paper for wearable wireless and medical body area network (WBAN/MBAN) applications. A tri-band UC-EBG structure has been utilized as a ground plane to minimize the impact of antenna radiation on the human body and improve antenna performance for the proposed wearable antenna. Metamaterial triangular complementary split ring resonators (TCSRRs) are incorporated into the antenna and UC-EBG structure, resulting in a compact UC-EBG-backed antenna with an overall size of 39 × 39 × 2.84 mm3 (0.41 λg × 0.41 λg × 0.029 λg). The printed textile antenna operates at 2.45 GHz for the wireless local area network (WLAN), 3.5 GHz for 5G new radio (NR), and 5.8 GHz for the industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) bands with improved gain and high-efficiency values. Furthermore, the performance of the antenna is analyzed on the human body, where three models of curved body parts are considered: a child's arm (worst case) with a 40 mm radius, an adult's arm with a 60 mm radius, and an adult's leg with a 70 mm radius. The results demonstrate that the proposed antenna is an attractive candidate for wearable healthcare and fitness monitoring devices and other WBAN/MBAN applications due to its compact size, high performance, and low SAR values. The present study contributes to overcoming the serious drawback of the traditional stirred slurry catalytic reactor, namely, the costly and time‐consuming separation of the catalyst particles from the final product using a stationary fixed bed of Raschig rings placed above a rotating impeller. The rate of diffusion‐controlled reactions was measured in terms of the mass transfer coefficient under different conditions of impeller rotation speed, Raschig ring diameter, and bed height. The rate of mass transfer was determined by a technique which involves measuring the rate of diffusion‐controlled dissolution of copper in acidified dichromate. The data were correlated by a dimensionless correlation which can be used to scale up and design the reactor. The reactor performance was measured in terms of the mass transfer coefficient and the energy utilization efficiency. The UK's National Joint Registry (NJR) and the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) of 2022 revealed that total hip replacement (THR) is the most common orthopaedic joint procedure. The NJR also noted that 10–20% of hip implants require revision within 1 to 10 years. Most of these revisions are a result of aseptic loosening, dislocation, implant wear, implant fracture, and joint incompatibility, which are all caused by implant geometry disparity. The primary purpose of this review article is to analyze and evaluate the mechanics and performance factors of advancement in hip implants with novel geometries. The existing hip implants can be categorized based on two parts: the hip stem and the joint of the implant. Insufficient stress distribution from implants to the femur can cause stress shielding, bone loss, excessive micromotion, and ultimately, implant aseptic loosening due to inflammation. Researchers are designing hip implants with a porous lattice and functionally graded material (FGM) stems, femur resurfacing, short-stem, and collared stems, all aimed at achieving uniform stress distribution and promoting adequate bone remodeling. Designing hip implants with a porous lattice FGM structure requires maintaining stiffness, strength, isotropy, and bone development potential. Mechanical stability is still an issue with hip implants, femur resurfacing, collared stems, and short stems. Hip implants are being developed with a variety of joint geometries to decrease wear, improve an angular range of motion, and strengthen mechanical stability at the joint interface. Dual mobility and reverse femoral head–liner hip implants reduce the hip joint's dislocation limits. In addition, researchers reveal that femoral headliner joints with unidirectional motion have a lower wear rate than traditional ball-and-socket joints. Based on research findings and gaps, a hypothesis is formulated by the authors proposing a hip implant with a collared stem and porous lattice FGM structure to address stress shielding and micromotion issues. A hypothesis is also formulated by the authors suggesting that the utilization of a spiral or gear-shaped thread with a matched contact point at the tapered joint of a hip implant could be a viable option for reducing wear and enhancing stability. The literature analysis underscores substantial research opportunities in developing a hip implant joint that addresses both dislocation and increased wear rates.
