For study of photodegradation, an excilamp on working molecules KrCl with λrad = 222 nm, developed at the Institute of High Current Electronics of the SB RAS, was used as source of UV radiation. The results of direct photolysis of phenoxyacetic acids herbicides in aqueous solutions are discussed. The phototransformation occurs more slowly when the herbicides concentration increases. The use of the flow-through reactor is more effective than operation in the stationary conditions. The prospect of using a wide range of excilamps with different characteristics for solving environmental problems is highlighted.

A sluggish, asymptomatic course of the disease does not exclude transformation into a malignant form that occurs in 25% of patients with SMZL. Another equally important sign of an NL is thrombosis that occurs in 3.6% to 17.1% of the cases. In this report, we present a case of emergency splenectomy in a patient owing to difficulties in the diagnosis of SMZL, rapid onset of acute portal vein thrombosis, and the fulminant enlargement of the spleen accompanied by an increased risk of its rupture. Chronic hepatitis B was likely the trigger for transformation of the disease to an aggressive course. Portal vein thrombosis and the aggressive course of SMZL with rapid enlargement of the spleen and threat of its rupture in the background of viral hepatitis B required emergency splenectomy followed by anticoagulant, antiviral, and antitumor therapy.Keywords: splenic marginal zone lymphoma, SMZL, portal vein thrombosis, emergency splenectomy, chronic viral hepatitis B

Face aux avancées technologiques et à l’évolution des attentes vis-à-vis de l’enseignement et de l'apprentissage, les universités essaient de sortir de plus en plus des pratiques traditionnelles et d’innover. Les nouvelles méthodes pédagogiques nécessitent de nouveaux environnements d’apprentissage. Des espaces d’apprentissage innovants apparaissent dans les bibliothèques universitaires en réponse aux besoins de la communauté académique. Les bibliothécaires interviennent dans ces lieux collaboratifs à plusieurs niveaux :gestion logistique, création des partenariats avec les enseignants et d’autres services ou encore participation active aux ateliers et aux cours dans ces espaces d’apprentissage. Le site Uni Mail de la Bibliothèque de l’Université de Genève participe au projet Concept Library 3.0impliquant tous les sites de la Bibliothèque de l’Université de Genève. En parallèle le site mène une démarche de réaménagement de ses espaces. Dans le même temps le site Uni Mail de la Bibliothèque souhaite mener une réflexion afin de proposer à terme un espace d’apprentissage et d’expérimentation collective. Ce travail de Master a pour objectif de fournir des pistes de recommandations pour la création et la mise en place d’un tel espace adapté au contexte du site Uni Mail de la Bibliothèque. Pour réaliser ce travail nous avons fait un état de l’art comprenant une revue de la littérature et un benchmark au niveau international. Cela a permis de trouver des exemples de bibliothèques universitaires ayant mis en place des espaces d’apprentissage innovants en termes de nouvelles pédagogies, d’acquisition des soft skills ou de technologies numériques utilisées. Ensuite, une enquête qualitative par le biais d’entretiens semi-structurés a été réalisée auprès d’experts en apprentissage et de partenaires potentiels venant des services internes de l’Université de Genève. Cette enquête a permis de découvrir leur vision du futur espace ainsi que leurs idées par rapport à son développement. Enfin, notre travail propose des pistes de recommandations pour la création et le développement à moyen terme de l’espace d’apprentissage et d’expérimentation. Ces recommandations ont été élaborées selon les dimensions organisationnelle, pédagogique, technologique, identité, design/aménagement et rôle de la bibliothèque dans le développement de l’espace.

Les bibliothèques se trouvent aujourd’hui dans un monde en constante et rapide évolution. Les avancées technologiques, les défis organisationnels et le changement de comportement informationnel du public remettent en question le fonctionnement traditionnel des bibliothèques et les poussent à repenser leurs pratiques afin de mieux répondre aux besoins des utilisateurs. Le design thinking apparaît comme un état d’esprit, une méthode collaborative innovante permettant d’utiliser des outils simples pour répondre aux défis et résoudre des problèmes. Les différentes méthodes de design identifiées dans ce travail sont devenues incontournables pour innover en bibliothèque et le design thinking devient alors une méthodologie applicable à ces méthodes de design. Notre travail, «Étudier les méthodes de design et de design thinking en bibliothèque», s’inscrit dans notre projet de recherche et vise à identifier les méthodes de design utilisables en bibliothèque et leur application concrète au niveau international afin de formuler des pistes de recommandations adaptées au contexte suisse. Dans ce travail nous avons souhaité faire une distinction entre les méthodes de design appliquées par les bibliothèques (UX, co-design, design de services) et le design thinking en tant que démarche basée sur l’itération. Ainsi, le design thinking peut servir de boîte à outils pour l’implémentation des méthodes de design. Les méthodes de design peuvent donc être appliquées en utilisant le design thinking ou non. Dans le cadre de ce projet de recherche, un état des lieux des méthodes de design et de design thinking en bibliothèque a été dressé au niveau international afin de définir les méthodes les plus utilisées et celles appliquées avec succès en bibliothèques (l’UX, le co-design, le design de services). Les pays d’Amérique du Nord et d’Europe du Nord ont été identifiés comme des leaders dans le domaine du design en bibliothèque. Des exemples dans le contexte francophone ont également été analysés. Par la suite une enquête a été menée afin d’étudier l’application de ces méthodes en Suisse romande: premièrement, une enquête quantitative sous forme de questionnaire électronique a été diffusée via swisslib. Deuxièmement, une enquête qualitative a été réalisée auprès des bibliothécaires romands par le biais d’entretiens semi-structurés. Les données issues du questionnaire et des entretiens ont été analysées et comparées pour présenter un aperçu de la situation générale en Romandie. Enfin, notre travail propose des pistes de recommandations comme un projet de formation à mettre en place par Bibliosuisse ou encore la création de modèles de design en bibliothèque transférables.

The polycondensation of 5,5-methylene bis(2-aminophenol) and the mixture of diamines 5,5-methylene bis(2-aminophenol) and 4,4-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)dianiline (molar ratio 0.8:0.2) with isophthaloyl dichloride was used to synthesize a new heat resistant binder of the composites for microelectronics: poly(o-hydroxyamide) (POA) and poly(amido-o-hydroxy amide) (POA-F). The thermal stability of synthesized polymer coatings, as well as based on them photosensitive compositions with a naphthoquinondiazide photosensitive component were studied in the temperature range from 100 to 500 &deg, C. Ferroelectric composites with nanodispersed lead titanate zirconate powder filler were formed based on these polymer matrices. By manipulating the conditions of the polymer formation, we obtained matrices with different stiffnesses, which reflected on the properties of the composite. The electrophysical parameters of the synthesized polymer and ferroelectric composite coatings were measured in the frequency range from 0.1 Hz to 1.5 GHz and the temperature range from 0 to 300 &deg, C. The frequency and temperature stability of the dielectric constant of ferroelectric composite coatings up to 10 MHz and 300 &deg, C, respectively, are noted. The influence of the composition and structure of the polymer matrix and the grain/matrix interfaces on the thermal stability of the dielectric parameters of composite films is estimated. The shift of the phase transition region toward higher temperatures in the composite structure, as well as the sufficient rigidity of the poly(benzoxazole) matrix, provide high temperature and frequency stability of the dielectric constant of the studied composites.

Purpose: Patients with glioblastoma (GBM) have a poor prognosis and are in desperate need of better therapies. As therapeutic decisions are increasingly guided by biomarkers, and EGFR abnormalities are common in GBM, thus representing a potential therapeutic target, we systematically evaluated methods of assessing EGFR amplification by multiple assays. Specifically, we evaluated correlation among fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), a standard assay for detecting EGFR amplification, with other methods. Experimental Design: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tumor samples were used for all assays. EGFR amplification was detected using FISH (N = 206) and whole-exome sequencing (WES, N = 74). EGFR mRNA expression was measured using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR, N = 206) and transcriptome profiling (RNAseq, N = 64). EGFR protein expression was determined by immunohistochemistry (IHC, N = 34). Significant correlations among various methods were determined using Cohen's kappa (κ = 0.61–0.80 defines substantial agreement) or R2 statistics. Results: EGFR mRNA expression levels by RNA sequencing (RNAseq) and RT-PCR were highly correlated with EGFR amplification assessed by FISH (κ = 0.702). High concordance was also observed when comparing FISH to WES (κ = 0.739). RNA expression was superior to protein expression in delineating EGFR amplification. Conclusions: Methods for assessing EGFR mRNA expression (RT-PCR, RNAseq) and copy number (WES), but not protein expression (IHC), can be used as surrogates for EGFR amplification (FISH) in GBM. Collectively, our results provide enhanced understanding of available screening options for patients, which may help guide EGFR-targeted therapeutic approaches.
