Background: The emergence of the new coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) pandemic has placed an unprecedented burden on healthcare systems worldwide. Medical personnel on the frontlines have faced unique challenges, including high patient volumes, limited resources, and the constant risk of infection. This study aimed to investigate the mental health status of medical personnel directly involved in treating COVID-19 patients to better understand the impact of the pandemic on their psychological well-being. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among medical personnel working in hospitals designated for COVID-19 treatment. A structured questionnaire, including validated mental health assessment tools such as the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), was administered electronically to assess anxiety, depression, and stress levels. Additionally, demographic and work-related information, including age, gender, job role, and years of experience, were collected. Results: A total of 450 medical personnel participated in the study. The results revealed that 65% of the respondents reported moderate to severe symptoms of anxiety, 53% reported moderate to severe symptoms of depression, and 70% reported high levels of perceived stress. Female healthcare workers and those with less than 5 years of experience showed a higher prevalence of psychological distress. Additionally, frontline workers, such as nurses and respiratory therapists, reported significantly higher levels of stress compared to other healthcare professionals. Conclusion: The mental health status of medical personnel dealing with COVID-19 is a matter of concern, with a substantial proportion experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and high stress levels. Strategies to support the mental well-being of these healthcare workers should be implemented, including regular mental health screenings, access to counseling services, and the development of targeted interventions to alleviate stress and improve coping mechanisms. Background: The coexistence of diabetes mellitus and psychiatric manifestations has been a subject of increasing interest in recent years. This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of psychiatric manifestations among Type I and Type II diabetic patients. Understanding the nuances of psychiatric symptoms in these two distinct types of diabetes is crucial for comprehensive patient care. Materials and Methods: This comparative study involved a meticulously selected sample of Type I and Type II diabetic patients. The sample size was determined through rigorous statistical calculations to ensure representativeness. Patients were recruited from diverse demographics to capture a broad spectrum of experiences. Psychiatric manifestations were assessed using standardized psychological assessment tools and diagnostic criteria. Medical records, including glycemic control parameters, were analyzed to identify potential correlations between diabetes management and psychiatric symptoms. In addition to quantitative measures, qualitative data such as patient narratives and experiences were collected through interviews, providing a deeper insight into the subjective aspects of psychiatric manifestations in diabetes. Results: The analysis revealed distinct patterns of psychiatric manifestations in Type I and Type II diabetic patients. Glycemic control parameters were also scrutinized, revealing an intriguing relationship between blood glucose levels and psychiatric manifestations. Background: Epilepsy and migraine are neurological disorders that significantly impact an individual's life. This study aims to conduct a thorough comparative analysis of the health-related quality of life (HRQoL), psychological well-being, impact of illness, and stigma experienced by individuals with epilepsy and migraine. Materials and Methods: This research employed a cross-sectional design, recruiting participants diagnosed with epilepsy and migraine from specialized clinics. A structured questionnaire, incorporating standardized instruments such as the Short Form Health Survey (SF-36), Psychological General Well-Being Index (PGWBI), Illness Perception Questionnaire (IPQ), and Stigma Scale for Chronic Illnesses (SSCI), was administered to gather comprehensive data. Demographic information, medical history, and treatment modalities were also collected. Statistical analyses, including t-tests and chi-square tests, were employed to compare the groups.
