In order to investgate the effects of H2S on the quality of cold-storage passion fruit, fresh harvested fruits were treated with different concentrations of H2S(0 mmol/L, 1 mmol/L, 2 mmol/L, 3 mmol/L), packaged with BOPP plastic wrap and placed into 5±1°C for 35 days. Samples were randomly selected and at 7-days interval during cold storage, compared the preservation effect of different concentrations of H2S. The results indicated that the fruits with 2 mmol/LH2S treatment have better chroma and lower weight loss rate, and soluble solid content, titratable acidity, vitamin C, sugar were preserved at higher level than that of control fruits during storage time. These results showed that 2 mmol/LH2S treatment could maintain the quality of passion fruit during cold storage.

The catalytic performance of ruthenium (Ru) in the synthesis and decomposition of ammonia (NH3) has attracted extensive attention and research. Considering its selective adsorption and excellent catalytic effect toward NH3, it holds significant potential in the field of ammonia detection. In this study, we present a high-performance NH3 sensor that was based on a catalytic metal gate field-effect transistor (FET) utilizing Ru nanoparticles as the sensitive gate (Ru-FET). The sensor exhibits a high response of 11.3% to 1 ppm of NH3 at room temperature, with quick response and recovery processes of 8 and 85 s, respectively. Meanwhile, the sensor possesses a detection range of 0.4-20 ppm along with good repeatability and selectivity. The exceptional performance of the Ru-FET sensor suggests the potential of judiciously combining sensitive materials and sensor structures to manufacture high-performance NH3 sensors operating at room temperature. In the design and optimisation of marine wireless communication and navigation systems, a thorough investigation of radio wave propagation characteristics under atmospheric ducting conditions is essential. The authors aim to enhance the efficiency of radio wave propagation loss prediction in marine atmospheric ducting environments, proposing a prediction model based on Fast Reordered‐Alternate Direction Decomposition (FR‐ADD). By approximating the diffraction term into three independent components, exploiting the commutative properties of the Fourier transform to reduce the spatial dimensions, and incorporating a rapid algorithm for the parabolic equation, the model optimises the stepping process and significantly improves computational efficiency. Simulation experiments demonstrate that, in the long‐distance and complex marine ducting environments, the model not only maintains prediction accuracy but also substantially reduces computational load and prediction time, effectively realising over‐the‐horizon propagation prediction. In the experiment of radio wave propagation characteristics in the Yellow and Bohai Seas, the simulation data from the FR‐ADD model showed significant correlation with actual measurements and simulations from the AREPS software, confirming the method's efficiency and practicality. Fingerprints hold evidential value for individual identification; a sensitive, efficient, and convenient method for visualizing latent fingermarks (LFMs) is of great importance in the field of crime scene investigation. In this study, we proposed an aggregation-induced emission atomization technique (AIE-AT) to obtain high-quality fingermark images. Six volunteers made over 1566 fingerprint samples on 17 different objects. The quality of fingermark development was evaluated using grayscale analysis for quantitative assessment, combining the fluency of fingermark ridges and the degree of level 2 and level 3 features. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were employed to explore the effectiveness of AIE molecule C27H19N3SO in developing fingermarks, its applicability to objects, and its individual selectivity. Additionally, the stability of the AIE molecule was examined. Comparative experimental results demonstrated the high stability of the AIE molecule, making it suitable for long-term preservation. The grayscale ratio of the ridges and furrows was at least 2, with high brightness contrast, the level 2 and level 3 features were clearly observable. The AIE-AT proved to be effective for developing fingermarks on nonporous, porous, and semiporous objects. It exhibited low selectivity on suspects who leave fingermarks and showed better development effects on challenging objects, as well as efficient extraction capability for in situ fingermarks. In summary, AIE-AT can efficiently develop latent fingermarks on common objects and even challenging ones. It locates the latent fingermarks for further accurate extraction of touch exfoliated cells in situ, providing technical support for the visualization of fingermarks and the localization for extraction of touch DNA.
