The solar system is one of the intangible learning materials of science because the phenomena that occur could not be presented directly in the classroom such as members of the solar system, the repetition of day and night, the phases of moon, and the eclipse. This resulted is student difficulties to understanding the solar system concept. To overcome these problems, the researcher aims to develop learning media that can also enhance the Critical Thinking Skills (CTS) of students through Multimedia Based Integrated Instruction (MBI2). MBI2 is an integrated multimedia computer which contains learning materials including video, animation and simulation, learning tools, e-books and assessment. To collect and analyze the data genuinely and comprehensively, researchers utilized a pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design for 36 students as research subject. The results of research showed that (1) 43% of students were able to identifying/formulating the criteria of possible answers, (2) 32% of students could giving a reason, (3) 39% of students could giving a hypothesis, (4) 41% students could identifying assumptions or conclusions, (5) 36% of students could select the possible criteria as a solution to the problems. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that MBI2 could significantly enhance the critical thinking skills of junior high school students on solar system.

Nowadays, the main goal of education in the world is required to promote critical thinking skills for junior high school students in term of being better future-live. To analyze students' critical thinking skills, we developed critical thinking test items on Oscillation and Sound Wave named Oscillation and Sound Wave-Critical Thinking Skills Test (OSW-CTST). The aim of this study is to develop the test of critical thinking skills through the development model. The development model which is utilized is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The OSW-CTST items have already been developed through Ennis's indicators of critical thinking skills. The critical thinking indicators which were utilized in this study are: (1) identifying/formulating the criteria of possible answers, (2) identifying reasons or premises, (3) explaining the hypotheses, (4) defining the scientific terms and considering the definitions, and (5) choosing the possible criteria as a solution to the problems. On validity test to experts, the OSW-CTST get the score greater than 4.3 of 5. The test items difficulty, distinguishing power, validity, and reliability value and criteria are good enough. In conclusion, critical thinking skills test on oscillation and sound wave could be well developed though ADDIE model and it could measure the junior high school students' critical thinking skills.

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning is kind of innovation in education. Several studies have shown that the application of ICT is able to improve students' competence and satisfaction with subject studied and enhancing the ability of both subjects and graduate levels. A developing university must be able to apply ICT in teaching and learning. One of a developing university in Indonesia is Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta). The subject of this research is a student of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Untirta. The main purpose of the research is to know the readiness of lecturer and college student in using ICT integrated into the learning process. Based on research it is known that both of lecturers and students have the readiness to adopt integrated ICT in the learning process. The main problem that arises from lecturers is the lack of lecturers' skills in using technology. While the problems that arise from students is the need for a free internet connection. Therefore, the university has to provide the training for the lecturers and provide free connections for the students.

Electricity is a concept that is abstract and difficult to see by eye directly, one example electric shock, but cannot see the movement of electric current so that students have difficulty by students. A computer simulation designed to improve the understanding of the concept of the workings of the dry cell (battery). This study was conducted to 82 students (aged 18-20 years) in the experimental group by learning to use the Dry Cell Microscopic Simulation (DCMS). The result shows the improving of students’ conceptual understanding scores from post test were statistically significantly of the workings of batteries. The implication using computer simulations designed to overcome the difficulties of conceptual understanding, can effectively help students in facilitating conceptual change.

Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh; pertama, strategi pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap kemampuan menyusun rancangan pembelajaran; dua, kecerdasan interpersonal terhadap kemampuan menyusun rancangan pembelajaran; ketiga, interaksi antara strategi belajar dan kecerdasan interpersonal terhadap kemampuan menyusun rancangan pembelajaran. Kasus kajian ini terjadi pada program studi DII jurusan pendidikan guru Taman Kanak-kanan FKIP Universitas Tirtayasa, semester dua tahun akademik 2006-2007, dengan sample sebanyak 44 orang.Tulisan ini menyajikan bahwa; pertama, kemampuan merancang pembelajaran bagi siswa yang mendapat strategi belajar kooperatif lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang mendapat strategi belajar ekspositori; kedua, kemampuan merancang pembelajaran bagi siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal yang tinggi lebih sesuai dengan strategi pembelajaran kooperatif; ketiga, siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal yang rendah dalam merancang pembelajaran lebih cocok dengan strategi belajar ekspositori; keempat, ada interaksi antara penggunaan strategi belajar dan kecerdasan interpersonal yang memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda dalam merancang pembelajaran.Kata kunci: strategi belajar, pembelajaran koopertaif, pembelajaran ekpositori, kecerdasan interpersonal, rancangan pembelajaran.

Pembelajaran merupakan kegiatan inti dari keseluruhan proses pendidikan di Perguruan Tinggi. Salah satu indikator mutu pendidikan di Perguruan Tinggi dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar mahasiswa dan kualitas hasil belajar akan dipengaruhi oleh kualitas proses pembelajarannya. Dosen merupakan faktor determinan dalatn menentukan tinggi rendahnya kualitas proses pembelajaran. Kualitas proses_pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari bagaimana dosen dalam menggunakan sistem penyajian bahan, peranan dosen dalam mengelola kegia n pembelajaran, .tingkat partisipasi dan jenis kegiatan belajar yang dihayati mahasiswa se iklim proses pembelajaran.Ada dua pola pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi yaitu pola pembelajaran yang berpusat pada lembaga atau dosen, yaitu seorang dosen mengajar mahasiswa dengan bahan ajar yang sudah given sebagaimana yang telah dituangkan dalam Silabus dan Pola Pembelajaran yang di desain dengan pendekatan sistem yaitu dosen mengajar dan mahasiswa. belajar, bertolak dari kebutuhan belajar mahasiswa yang diawali dengan needs assesment. Indonesia is a second largest rubber-producing countries in the world with production of 3.18 million tons in 2013, after Thailand, and has a land area of the world's largest rubber plantation with an area of 3.56 million hectares in 2013. So the rubber and rubber goods are commodities that are very important and influential on the national economy. One of widely used product of the rubber is a sponge for floating media. The sponge is made of not only synthetic rubber, but also natural rubber. In this research, DPNR was used as a raw material rubber to produce sponge of floating hose. The results showed that sponges are made of DPNR3 has a density of 0.1890 g/cm 3 , compression set at room temperature of 8.08%, and 19.11% at a temperature of 70 0 C, while the original (DPNR1) has a density of 0.3018g/cm 3 , 25.33% of compression set at room temperature, and 27.30% at a temperature of 70 C. DPNR3 rubber can be used as raw material for the manufacture of sponges because the sponges which are obtained meet the technical specification requirements.
