Recently, Wireless nanosensor networks (WNSNs) are going to play an imperative role in plant monitoring. Monitoring of agriculture and identification of released harmful organic compounds are vital applications among the others. However, the limited sensing range of nanosensors can be increased with the help of relay mechanism. This paper presents computation of Packet Error Rate (PER) of WNSNs under Amplify and forward (AF) relay for plant monitoring. In particular, PER of DBPSK and DQPSK modulation schemes have been presented for both symmetric and asymmetric relay system. Simulation shows that PER highly depends on the channel parameters i.e. shaping and severity of the channel.
