Abstract

In this paper, we introduce and study three notions of RT0 property in fuzzy topological spaces using quasi-coincidence sense, and we relate to other such notions. Then, we show that all these notions satisfy good extension property. These concepts also satisfy hereditary, productive and projective properties. We note that all these concepts are preserved under one-one, onto, fuzzy regular open and fuzzy regular continuous mappings. Abstract

Studying cyber-physical system (CPS) for a given network protocol and processor schedules is a challenging task. This investigation illustrates the role of TrueTime a MATLAB package for simulating CPS encapsulating information on processor schedules, and network protocols. Properties of CPS such as temporal behaviors, performance and stability can be studied using the TrueTime tool. Furthermore, these simulations can be used to benchmark design and propose design alternatives. The procedure to use the toolbox for simulations and instantiate various blocks to study CPS is illustrated in the paper. Finally, an illustrative example has been presented of CPS simulation with wireless network. Our example demonstrates that TrueTime is a useful tool for studying CPS performance, timing behavior, schedulability analysis, and studying suitable network protocols., Comment: 6 pages

Abstract

Nitric oxide (NO) is one of the structurally smallest pharmaceutical molecules, which shows great potential as an anti-restenosis, wound healing, anticancer, and antibacterial agent. To date, while most of the studies have focused mainly on demonstrating the versatility of the NO-releasing materials, little effort has been made on developing successful NO-delivery strategies for advancing NO-mediated therapy. Thus, the quest for a rationally designed NO-delivery system is becoming one of the important issues in the biomedical applications of NO. This feature article discusses the overall research trends in the NO-delivery, focusing mainly on the various particle-type and coating platforms. The objective of this article is not only to highlight the fundamental principle and challenges associated with NO-delivery, but also to provide insight for the further development of novel NO-delivery platforms for clinical applications in the near future. 76. Amplifying glioblastoma immunotherapy: T cell shielding through Nitric oxide/reactive oxygen species scavenging nanoparticles Potentiates anti-PD-1.

Abstract

Despite the success of immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy in various cancers, its efficacy faces challenges in glioblastoma (GBM) due to the immunosuppressive cold-tumor microenvironment. The scarcity of tumor-infiltrating T cells and the suppression of T cell activity significantly limit therapeutic outcomes in GBM. Nitric oxide (NO) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) from tumor-associated myeloid cells (TAMCs) are key contributors to T cell suppression, reducing ICB therapy effectiveness. In this study, we developed NO-ROS scavenging micelles that effectively scavenge both NO and ROS, protecting T cells from their exhausting effects. This leads to a significant increase in T cell infiltration and activation. Moreover, when combined with αPD-1, the survival rate increases to 40 % up to 120 days, enhancing therapeutic efficacy compared to αPD-1 alone.
