DIS2022 conference presentation

We present an update to the QCD global analysis of single transverse-spin asymmetries presented in [J. Cammarota et al. (Jefferson Lab Angular Momentum Collaboration), Phys. Rev. D 102, 054002 (2020).] (JAM3D-20). JAM3D-20 simultaneously included transverse momentum dependent and collinear twist-3 observables, both of which are sensitive to quark-gluon-quark correlations in hadrons. In this study we extract for the first time the twist-3 chiral odd fragmentation function H˜ by incorporating the sinϕs modulation data from semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering along with its contribution to the single transverse-spin asymmetry in pion production from proton-proton collisions. We also explore the impact of lattice QCD tensor charge calculations and the Soffer bound on our global analysis. We find that both constraints can be accommodated within our results, with H˜ playing a key role in maintaining agreement with the data from proton-proton collisions.

This article is a research announcement of my upcoming joint paper with Minoru Hirose on a certain class of Q-linear relations among the multiple zeta values (MZVs), which we call confluence relations. As is well known, MZVs are iterated integrals of meromorphic one-forms dt/t and dt/t-1 on a projective line. Here we consider more general iterated integrals of three different one-forms dt/t, dt/t-1 and dt/t-z and define the confluence relations as limits as z → 1 of Q-linear relations among these iterated integrals. At first, we define standard relations among the iterated integrals which naturally arise by regarding them as functions of z and thus using their differential structure with respect to z, and then we consider their limits as z → 1. The confluence relations seem to give a very rich family of Q-linear relations among MZVs and we even propose a conjecture that they exhaust all the Q-linear relations among MZVs. As a good reason for our conjecture, we prove that the confluence relations imply the extended double shuffle relations (also the duality realtion). 大野関係式は特別な形の多重ゼータ値の和(大野和)の双対関係式とみなせる. 本稿では大野和の満たすQ線形関係式についての広瀕稔氏, 村原英樹氏, 小野塚友ー氏との共著論文[3]の結果を紹介する.

本研究では，幼児期の子どもを養育している夫婦間における子育てに対する考え方を可視化す ることで，互いの共通点と相違点を明らかにすることを目的とし，夫婦が相互に理解を深め，子育てに 取り組むことができるような支援につなげていきたいと考える．調査はPAC 分析の技法を用い，個別 に実施した結果，夫婦共に愛情深く，それぞれの信念や子育て観を持って子どもに関わっていた．差違 は，母親の連想項目にはプラスのイメージとマイナスのイメージが混在していたのに対し，父親はマイ ナスの連想項目がなく9 割がプラスのイメージだった．母親のデンドログラムに表れていたストレスや 悩みや葛藤などの感情面が父親のデンドログラムには表れておらず，父親としての役割を意識した立ち 位置を示していた．

It is well known that sedation during mechanical ventilation should not be performed beyond the level necessary while being monitoring sedation status. However, some patients only complain of insomnia, even though the patient's degree of sedation has been assessed to be adequate. A woman aged 50 years with a history of systemic lupus erythematosus was transferred into our ICU with a diagnosis of respiratory infection. In 10 days treatment with antibacterial drug and mechanical ventilation improved her respiratory condition well enough to prepare for weaning from mechanical ventilation support. Her sedation was well managed such that a Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS) score of ∁E to ∁E was achieved during treatment. In the process of ventilator weaning involved reducing her sedation gradually, targeting a RASS score of 0 to ∁E, she then began to complain of severe sleep disturbance. Neither ramelteon nor mianserin administration could improve her insomnia. Multidisciplinary discussion decided a trial of foot-bathing therapy for her sleep disorder. After starting warm footbath care during a daytime, her insomnia improved dramatically in a short time without additional medication or increasing the drug dosage. As the result, her extubation succeeded smoothly without delay.

In many scientific applications, Inverse problems are challenging. An inverse problem is the process of inferring unknown parameters from observable ones. In this poster, we present our prototype using Point Cloud-based Variational Autoencoder mapping. Data that connects parameters to detector level events is used to train the proposed model. A point cloud is used to describe a series of events that keeps the permutation invariant property and geometric correlations of the events while being flexible with the number of events in the input. The trained Point Cloud-based Variational Autoencoder functions as an effective inverse function from detector level events to parameter space and can be utilized as the final step in inferring QCFs model parameters from experimental detector level events. Using a point cloud-based variational autoencoder, our results show that Sigma1 and Sigma2 are within one standard division of the predicted Sigma1 (pc) and Sigma2 (pc). The suggested model can be extended to high-dimensional events with permutation invariant features in future work.

Background: The implementation of clinical information systems (CISs) alone and with hospital electric medical records in intensive care units (ICUs) can lead to numerous errors. This study aimed to investigate errors in an ICU and intermediate medical care unit (IMU) for 9 months after implementing of a CIS.Methods: A CIS was incrementally implemented in the general ICU and IMU of a university hospital over 3 months and was used for all patients by April 2019. The errors encountered over 9 months were extracted from the hospital's incident reporting system.Results: Overall, 122 and 140 errors in the ICU and IMU, respectively, during the study period. Incidence rates of the errors in the ICU and IMU were 31.7 (95% confidence interval [CI] 26.3-37.8) and 51.3 (43.2-60.6) events per 1,000 patient-days, respectively. There were 17 (14%) and 15 (11%) CIS-related errors in the ICU and IMU, respectively. The incidence rates of errors in the ICU and IMU were 5.3 (3.1-8.5) and 6.5 (3.6-10.7) events per 1,000 CIS operation patient-days, respectively.Conclusions: Thirteen percent of the errors in the ICU and IMU were related to the CIS, and the incidence did not vary with the staffing intensity of both care units.The study was registered at the University Hospital Medical Information Network Clinical Trials Registry (UMIN000039402).
