In the title compound, [Cu(C(4)H(8)NO(3))Cl(C(10)H(8)N(2))]·H(2)O, the Cu(II) atom is in a slightly distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry with the basal plane defined by the two N atoms of the bipyridine ligand and the N and O atoms from the threoninate ion and the apical site occupied by the Cl atom. In the crystal, inter-molecular O-H⋯O, N-H⋯O, O-H⋯Cl, C-H⋯O and C-H⋯Cl inter-actions link the mol-ecules into a three-dimensional network. A π-π inter-action with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.461 (1) Å is also present.

In the title compound, C(24)H(16)Cl(2)N(2)O(3), the chromene ring system is almost planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.042 (1) Å. It makes dihedral angles of 3.72 (6), 73.37 (5) and 12.00 (5)° with the dihydro-pyrazole, benzene and phenyl rings, respectively. An intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond forms an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via C-H⋯O inter-actions, forming an infinite chain along the a axis. The crystal packing is further stabilized by a π-π stacking inter-action [centroid-centroid distance = 3.5471 (7) Å] and a Cl⋯Cl short contact [Cl⋯Cl = 3.214 (1) Å].

In the title compound, C(21)H(21)NO, the indene ring system is essentially planar with a maximum deviation of 0.066 (1) Å and makes dihedral angles of 7.93 (6) and 2.43 (6)°, respectively, with the benzene plane and the mean plane of the piperidine ring. These latter two planes make a dihedral angle of 7.61 (7)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O inter-actions, forming infinite chains along the b axis.

In the title compound, C(7)H(11)N(2) (+)·C(7)H(5)O(2) (-), the 2-amino-4,6-dimethyl-pyridinium cation and the benzoate anion are linked by two N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming an R(2) (2)(8) ring motif. The H atoms in both the methyl groups are rotationally disordered, with fixed site occupancies of 0.50. In the crystal structure, the mol-ecules are stabilized by inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. A π-π inter-action, with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.661 (2) Å, is also observed.

In the crystal of the title mol-ecular salt, C(5)H(8)N(3) (+)·C(8)H(5)O(4) (-), the diamino-pyridine cation and the phthalate anion are linked by a pair of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Within the phthalate anion, an almost symmetrical O-H⋯O hydrogen bond is observed. The ion pairs are linked by further N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, generating a two-dimensional network lying parallel to (10).

In the title compound, C(33)H(26)Br(2)N(2)O(2), the piperidine group adopts an envelope conformation while the two pyrrolidine groups adopt half-chair and envelope conformations. The dihydro-acenaphthyl-ene group is almost planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.105 (1) Å. The dihedral angle between the two bromo-phenyl rings is 60.19 (8)°. An intra-molecular O-H⋯N inter-action is observed, generating an S(5) ring motif. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular C-H⋯O inter-actions. Short Br⋯Br [3.461 (1) Å] and Br⋯C [3.322 (2) Å] inter-molecular contacts are observed, as well as π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.793 (1) Å].

In the title compound, C(13)H(10)ClN(3)O(2), the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 3.61 (6)°. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the bc plane. Short inter-molecular Cl⋯Cl contacts [3.491 (1) Å] are also observed.

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(11)H(16)N(2)O(3), mol-ecules are linked by one O-H⋯N and two N-H⋯O inter-molecular hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network, which incorporates R(2) (2)(14) and R(2) (2)(16) graph-set motifs.

There are two mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(18)H(18)N(2)O(3). In each one, the benzimidazole ring system is essentially planar, with maximum deviations of 0.027 (1) and 0.032 (1)Å, and makes dihedral angles of 38.64 (6) and 41.48 (6)°, respectively, with the attached benzene rings. An intra-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bond is observed in each mol-ecule. The two independent mol-ecules are connected into a dimer by two inter-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds. In the crystal, mol-ecules form a two-dimensional layers parallel to (012) via weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. In addition, weak π-π stacking inter-actions are observed with centroid-centroid distances of 3.5244 (12) and 3.6189 (12) Å.

In the title compound, C(16)H(13)N(3)OS, the thio-morpholine ring exists in a screw boat conformation. The angle between the benzimidazole ring system and the benzene ring fused to the thia-zine ring is 67.22 (6)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules form infinite chains along the a axis via inter-molecular N-H⋯N inter-actions. C-H⋯π inter-actions also contribute to the stability of the crystal structure.

In the title compound, C(14)H(7)Cl(2)N(3)O(3), the dichloro-phenyl and nitro-phenyl rings form dihedral angles of 5.4 (2) and 4.0 (2)°, respectively, with the oxadiazole ring. The nitro group is twisted out of the attached benzene ring by a dihedral angle of 10.4 (3)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into a chain along the a axis by C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds.

In the title compound, C(21)H(24)N(2)O(4), the benzimidazole ring system is almost planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.047 (1) Å and makes a dihedral angle of 88.44 (5)° with the attached benzene ring. In the crystal, mol-ecules form infinite chains along the b axis by way of inter-molecular O-H⋯N and C-H⋯O inter-actions. Weak C-H⋯π also contribute to the stabilization of the crystal structure.

In the title compound, C(14)H(8)Cl(2)N(2)O, the dihedral angles between the plane of the oxadiazole ring and those of the benzene rings are 2.3 (1) and 9.5 (1)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into chains along the c axis by C-H⋯Cl inter-actions. These chains are stacked along the a axis.

In the title compound, C(9)H(6)Cl(2)N(2)O, the dihedral angle between the oxadiazole and benzene rings is 1.7 (2)°. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are linked into chains along the b axis by short inter-molecular Cl⋯O contacts [3.019 (3) Å].

In the title compound, {[Nd(C(8)H(3)NO(6))(C(8)H(4)NO(6))(H(2)O)(2)]·2.5H(2)O}(n), the Nd(II) ion is nine-coordinated by seven O atoms from five carboxyl-ate groups and two water mol-ecules. The [Nd(C(8)H(3)NO(6))(H(2)O)(2)](2+) units are bridged by 5-nitro-isophthalate dianions, forming polymeric sheets parallel to the ab plane. The polymeric sheets are linked into a three-dimensional network by O-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, and π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.5533 (11) Å]. The 5-nitro-isophthalate(1-) anion is disordered over three positions with an occupancy ratio of 0.68:0.23:0.09. Two of the uncoordinated water mol-ecules are disordered over two positions, with occupancy ratios of 0.722 (15):0.278 (15) and 0.279 (6):0.221 (6), respectively.

In the crown ether ring of the title compound, C(20)H(24)O(6)·2C(6)H(3)N(3)O(7)·3H(2)O, the O-C(H(2))-C(H(2))-O torsion angles indicate a gauche conformation of the ethyl-eneoxy units, while the C-O-C-C torsion angles indicate planarity of these segments; the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 44.53 (13)°. In both picric acid mol-ecules, one of the nitro groups is twisted away from the attached ring. The mol-ecules are linked into chains along the b axis via inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. In addition, the crystal structure is stabilized by C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance between benzene rings = 3.5697 (16) Å].
