We introduce a comprehensive and robust theoretical framework and operational workflow that can be employed to enhance our understanding, modeling and management capability of complex heterogeneous large-scale groundwater systems. Our framework encapsulates key components such as the three-dimensional nature of groundwater flows, river-aquifer interactions, probabilistic reconstruction of three-dimensional spatial distributions of geomaterials and associated properties across the subsurface, multi-objective optimization for model parameter estimation through stochastic calibration, and informed global sensitivity analysis. By integrating these components, we effectively consider the inherent uncertainty associated with subsurface system characterizations as well as their interactions with surface water bodies. The approach enables us to identify parameters impacting diverse system responses. By employing a coevolutionary optimization algorithm, we ensure efficient model parameterization, facilitating simultaneous and informed optimization of the defined objective functions. Additionally, estimation of parameter uncertainty naturally leads to quantification of uncertainty in system responses. The methodology is designed to increase our knowledge of the dynamics of large-scale groundwater systems. It also has the potential to guide future data acquisition campaigns through the informed global sensitivity analysis. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed methodology by applying it to the largest groundwater system in Italy. The system considered faces multiple challenges, including groundwater contamination, sea water intrusion, and water scarcity. Our study offers a promising modeling strategy applicable to large-scale subsurface systems and valuable insights into groundwater flow patterns that can then inform effective system management. Background: The educational task of nurses is to develop technical and humanistic competencies that favor preventive/promotional actions. Likewise, the responsibility in health promotion in the daily life of the teacher in the university context is relevant to improve practices. Materials and methods: Electronic database (Web of Science, Ebsco, Google Scholar, Scielo, Redalyc, Dialnet, and Scopus) were searched and 106 articles collected for the period 2012-2021. Of those, 13 articles were analyzed. The evidence highlights that the daily activity of the university teacher reflects the daily experiences of the bio-psychosocial routine represented in different roles. The importance lies in including during the teaching-learning process the development of competencies for the promotion and prevention of healthy lifestyles in the training of future nursing professionals. Conclusions: The synthesized results show that teachers should reinforce significant strategies to transfer knowledge around health promotion and disease prevention during the academic training process. Virtual pedagogical models for education refers to the various practices of instruction in a learning environment where teacher and student are separated by time or space, or both. The objective of this study was to systematize scientific evidence on virtual educational models for university contexts between 2011 and 2021. The method used corresponds to a systemic review, the data bases Scopus, Eric, ProQuest, Gale Academic OneFile, and Ebsco Host were explored, and then rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria for the study were used. 31 records were identified that responded to the previously posed investigation questions. We provide a reliable and efficient methodological framework for the interpretation of laboratory‐scale partitioning tracer test data under uncertainty. The proposed approach rests on a Time domain random walk (TDRW) particle tracking methodology. The range of applicability of the latter is extended to include transport of partitioning tracers upon considering retardation and trapping mechanisms. A classical maximum likelihood (ML) approach is applied considering the extensive set of experimental observations of Dwarakanath et al. (1999, https://doi.org/10.1021/es990082v). This yields best estimates of model parameters, including residual immobile phase saturation, the partition coefficient and the parameters of the memory function employed to simulate the impact of solute trapping. Experimental observations of the partition coefficient are included in the objective function upon relying on a regularization term. We show that considering these types of information, which are typically obtained through batch experiments, is important to attain joint estimates of the partition coefficient and of residual immobile phase saturation. Sample probability distributions of model parameters conditional on available data are then assessed through a stochastic inverse modeling approach. This step poses a significant challenge in terms of computational effort and is performed through a reduced order surrogate model. Our results show that the TDRW‐based approach can effectively capture the key features of the observed breakthrough curves of the various partitioning tracers analyzed and provide satisfactory estimates of residual immobile phase saturation. Objective: To describe and analyze the resonances and dissonances of caring perceived by the student during the teaching-learning process. Method: A qualitative, descriptive study with a phenomenological and dialectical approach. The information was collected utilizing an in-depth interview, using thematic content analysis. Twenty-one nursing students from the ninth and tenth cycles of a private university took part in the study, and the setting was the nursing school in the city of Trujillo. Results: four categories emerged: resonances of care, dissonances, awareness in the practice of human values, and innovative strategies. Conclusion: Teaching-learning with resonances of humanized care is visualized when the teacher is open, attentive, and transmits values, trust, and empathy, generating a sensitive and humane environment. But students also perceive dissonance as teacher neglect generated by negative attitudes. The teaching-learning process requires constant innovation so that nursing care is transmitted in the best way from a humanistic, scientific, ethical, and technological point of view and is experienced by the actors involved: teachers and students. The ability to relate, listen and respond assertively in an academic, personal, and social context, controlling emotions is called emotional intelligence. The objective of this research was to analyze the scientific evidence on emotional intelligence of university students in Latin America from 2015 to 2021. In this systematic review, Scielo, Scopus and Ebsco databases were analyzed, from where scientific articles were identified. Fifteen articles were identified, to which the proposed dimensions, instruments and definitions of the term emotional intelligence were identified. The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has had diverse effects on the population and businesses. Due to their low visibility, there is a significant knowledge gap for the scientific community regarding the situation of South American entrepreneurship during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this systematic review aims to answer the following research questions: What scientific evidence is available on entrepreneurship in South America during the COVID-19 pandemic? From which countries do the studies originate? What conclusions do they present, and what lessons can be learned from them? The Scopus and Scielo databases were explored in this systematic review. Due to the diversity of languages in which articles from this region are published, searches were conducted in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. In each case, we searched for results containing the words COVID-19 and entrepreneurship (emprendimiento in Spanish, empreendedorismo in Portuguese) in the title, abstract, or keywords. The initial search produced 783 records, which were filtered based on seven criteria, resulting in 15 articles. The final articles identified had corresponding authors affiliated with South American institutions. We conclude that, in South America, some entrepreneurs recognize the importance of maintaining the economic stability of their employees and communities in addition to sustaining their businesses.
