This bachelor thesis deals with the theme Activities of prevention methodologists at selected secondary schools. The aim of this work is to compare the Preventive Programs of selected secondary schools, what is the emphasis of the school in the area of primary prevention and what are the ways to meet the points of the Preventive Program. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts in the area of primary prevention of risk behavior of youth. It points to the system of prevention in the education system in the Czech Republic and briefly defines all areas of risky behavior of children and youth with which the school prevention methodologist works. The main attention is focused on the position of school methodists of prevention, describes its position in education and its position in the legislative framework in the work area. It also defines the scope of its activities, divides specific types of activities and their specifics. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of aggression aimed at a teacher. The theoretical part offers clarification of terms such as aggression, aggressive behaviour, violence and bullying. Furthermore, in separated chapters it discusses in detail the individual possible aggressors, to which belong pupils, parents, colleagues or principals. It focuses on their specifics related to teacher's attacks. The basis of the practical part is designed research realized by quantitative method. The research examined the experience of teachers from chosen elementary schools in Ústí nad Labem region with aggression towards them. Specifically, it dealt with broadening of aggression against teachers, mentioned forms and aggressors. The teachers also had the opportunity to describe their experience which they find as the most serious one. The results are alarming and they call for greater attention whether in the professional or general public. The aim of this thesis is not just being informative, moreover, it should serve as a motivation for further research. The diploma thesis deals with the definition of the responsibilities of a form master at a lower secondary school. The aim is to describe which activities should constitute the responsibilities of a form master at a lower secondary school, which activities form masters actually carry out, how their responsibilities are defined, and the way the form masters are informed about what they are expected to do. The theoretical part provides an overview of what can be found about form masters' work and their responsibilities in the specialized literature. In the practical part, documents issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Czech School Inspectorate were scrutinised using the method document analysis. The analysis has shown that these documents do not contain any lucid definition of a form master and nor do they provide any list of their responsibilities. The second research method used in this thesis is a structured interview with four form masters working at different lower secondary schools. School prevention methodist plays a key role in the successful elimination of risky behavior in the school environment. His function has undergone changes since its establishment, as has the context of its operation. This thesis is focused on the process of generating the position of a prevention methodist and the changes that have affected his current position. It also outlines current issues related to the performance of the function of school preventionist. The theoretical part presents the current legislative framework in which the school prevention methodist operates, as well as earlier legislation, and draws attention to the possible pitfalls of some legal norms. It also places the person of the ŠMP in the intra-ministerial system of school prevention and more broadly in the inter-ministerial organization of prevention. For a better understanding of the current situation, the theoretical part of the work opens a look into the history of prevention in the Czech Republic, or ČSFR, respectively. This diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the author derives from the historical findings of Educational Counselling Facilities in the Czech Educational system. Furthermore, she focuses on the definition of Educational Counselling Facilities before the introduction of the new concept of Individual Integration in 2016, including the working methods of school guidance counsellor. The author defines the terms of Individual Integration in detail and deals with the amendment and its consequences in the work of school guidance counsellors and teachers. The practical part includes an empirical research based on semi-structured interviews with school guidance counsellors. The author summarizes the findings of her questionnaire survey carried on among schoolteachers. In the final part, the author specifies the changes in the working methods of school guidance counsellors after the implementation of the new concept of Individual Integration starting from 1st September 2016. The author also clarifies the impact of the Individual Integration concept on the everyday responsibilities of the teachers and the educational facilities from their point of view.

The diploma thesis deals with the mutual cooperation of the family and the special elementary school. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part I deal with family and school cooperation, defining the concept of family, its functions and duties. The second chapter of this part consists of education of pupils with mental retardation. Here I'm going to explain the term of mental retardation, the causes of its origin, the dividing and the characteristics of the special elementary school. The last chapter of the theoretical part presents the model of the school holding the "Parents welcome" certificate. In the practical part I deal with specific research of family cooperation and special elementary school in Čáslav. The research is conducted through questionnaires and interviews. Also, I compare the requirements for awarding the "Parents welcome" brand to the forms of collaboration of a particular school. I'll find out if the Special School in Čáslav meets these criteria. This thesis introduces a topic of mentoring of novice teachers in Finland. The main goal is to analyse a novice teachers peer-group mentoring model as a case study of project Paedeia Café and evaluate its advantages and disadvantages in comparison to dyadic form of mentoring. Further, to bring ideas for implementation of Finnish experiences into Czech context. In theoretical part, we define mentoring in teaching profession, then we briefly introduce specifics of Finnish education system, peer-group mentoring and Paedeia Café. The research part analyses interview with mentors, novice teachers and manager of the project as well as participating observations. The results of the study show that Paedeia Café is a project which connects experienced teachers and students in last years of their studies. The advantages of the project are financial savings and creation of a space for discussion about professional issues. Disadvantages are more difficult structure, confusion of mentor's roles and low support in academic literature. In the Czech Republic, we can be inspired by a connection of experienced teachers and students, also by a space for sharing teaching profession experience in informal atmosphere. The bachelor thesis deals with low-threshold equipment for children and youth and its role in a small town. The first four chapters are purely theoretical and rather of general nature. In the first chapter I deal with its anchoring in the legislation that the service provides, the course of provision of services and the persons working in these facilities. In the second chapter, I focus on the target group for these devices, what are their main characteristics, the development and possible risk behavior they commit. In the third part I focus on the definition of a small town. Social structure of the population, education and alternative opportunities for children and youth. In the fourth chapter I am describing a particular facility that is aimed at the clientele of a typical small town. Archival writings, yearbooks and information provided by the facility's staff were used to describe the facility. The last part of the thesis is research. First, I have determined the research questions and the way I will verify them according to the theoretical knowledge from the relevant literature. The thesis processes the use of Montessori pedagogy in the Czech environment. The introductory chapters of this thesis describe the life and work of Marie Montessori, the fundamental anthropological thoughts and principles, and the development of Montessori approach. The thesis maps out by descriptive method the current institutions and primary schools which operates in the Czech environment. The following chapters contain case studies of two Montessori primary schools in Prague. The results of this thesis show that the approach of Marie Montessori is not just a rigid conception, but that it is still capable of development in the living process in school practice.

This thesis deals with selected educational problems of pupils accommodated in a particular youth home. It explains the function and content of the youth home. It defines the life period and associated developmental tasks that help us explain and understand the behavior and manners of adolescents. Then there are characteristics of educational problems and risk behavior of adolescents. The longest part of the thesis describes some selected types of risk behavior. The theoretical part is complemented by the practical part. It is based on qualitative research that mentions the most common behavioral problems, for these there are analyzed selected case studies.
