Abstract

In this paper, we present a study on the utilization of smart medical wearables and the user manuals of such devices. A total of 342 individuals provided input for 18 questions that address user behavior in the investigated context and the connections between various assessments and preferences. Abstract

Nanotheranostics facilitates personalized treatment by providing imaging capabilities for nucleic acid drug vectors. However, available nanotheranostics are not yet capable of indicating the release behavior of nucleic acid drugs. Herein, four guidelines for the design of nanotheranostics are proposed. Under the guidance, transformable nanotheranostics are prepared that can sense the spatiotemporal behaviors of siRNA accumulation and release to facilitate personalized oncology treatment. The nanotheranostics sense the spatiotemporal accumulation behavior of siRNA in tumors through computerized tomography. Besides, the tumor cytoplasmic microenvironment mediates both siRNA release and nanotherapeutic agent transformation simultaneously. The transformation‐activated magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) signals sense the spatiotemporal release behavior of siRNA. Moreover, the therapeutic effect of survivin‐targeted siRNA can be diagnosed and confirmed by contrast‐enhanced CT/MRI multi‐modal imaging in real‐time. The transformable nanotheranostics further promote personalized oncotherapy by nucleic acid drugs. These four guidelines are expected to direct the research and development of nucleic acid drug‐based nanotheranostics. Abstract

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus‐2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) is the causative agent of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID‐19) pandemic, which has caused serious challenges for public health systems worldwide. Due to the close relationship between animals and humans, confirmed transmission from humans to numerous animal species has been reported. Understanding the cross‐species transmission of SARS‐CoV‐2 and the infection and transmission dynamics of SARS‐CoV‐2 in different animals is crucial to control COVID‐19 and protect animal health. In this review, the possible animal origins of SARS‐CoV‐2 and animal species naturally susceptible to SARS‐CoV‐2 infection are discussed. Abstract

A method for Single-phase grounding test sequence fault location method for small current grounding system is proposed, which aims to compensate for the incomplete or faulty signal of the line ground fault signal when the fault area in the line is located in the prior art. The feature is not obvious, which leads to the technical defect that the distribution automation system cannot accurately locate the single-phase ground fault. It includes the following steps: based on the topology of the single-line diagram of the distribution network, generate a trial pull sequence table for the distribution network switch; follow the trial pull sequence of the distribution network switch in the sequence table to perform a trial pull operation on the distribution network switch, and determine the fault according to the result of the trial pull operation position.

Abstract

Owing to the daily electricity consumption sequence is time-varying, nonlinear and vulnerable to random factors, a host of single model can't meet the demands of high-precision forecasting. For this problem, this paper proposed a new combined prediction algorithm. Firstly, the original electricity data is decomposed into Intrinsic Mode Function (IMF) with bandwidth by Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) algorithm and the feature information of itself extracted simultaneously. At the same time, in order to accelerate the speed of prediction and reduce workload, the IMF decomposed by Sample Entropy (SE) is reconstructed into the trend component, the periodic component and the random component according to the self-similarity analysis. Then, according to the characteristics of each component we applied the Least Squares Support Vector Machine based on Maximum Correlation Entropy Criterion (MCC-LSSVM) and Auto-Regressive Moving Average Model (ARMA) to forecast components respectively and add the components to obtain the final predicted value. Finally, the daily electricity consumption data of a Wanda Plaza in Guangzhou are tested and compared with other algorithms. The results show that the daily electricity consumption hybrid forecasting algorithm based on VMD-SE can achieve higher prediction accuracy.

Abstract

We propose a nonvolatile terahertz (THz) switch which is able to perform the switching with transient stimulus. The device utilizes graphene as its floating-gate layer, which changes the transmissivity of THz signal by trapping the tunneling charges. The conventional top-down electrode configuration is replaced by a left-right electrode configuration, so THz signals could transmit through this device with the transmissivity being controlled by voltage pulses. The two electrodes are made of metals with different work functions. The resultant asymmetrical energy band structure ensures that both electrical programming and erasing are viable. With the aid of localized surface plasmon resonances in graphene ribbon arrays, the modulation depth is 89% provided that the Femi level of graphene is tuned between 0 and 0.2 eV by proper voltage pulses.
