Bakalářská práce zpracovává dosavadní poznatky v oblasti úsporných opatření v bazénových provozech. Teoretická část práce popisuje typologii bazénů a následně se zabývá technologickou stránkou včetně tepelného hospodářství. Dále jsou v teoretické části podrobně popsány možnosti úsporných opatření na bazénových provozech, a to především v sociálních zařízeních včetně znovuvyužití odpadní vody ze sprch jako zdroje vody, nebo získávání tepla z odpadní vody. Poznatky z teoretické části jsou následně aplikovány v části praktické, kde jsou navržena úsporná opatření na plaveckém bazénu., The diploma thesis deals with the current knowledge in the field of saving measures in swimming pool services. The theoretical part describes the typology of swimming pools and subsequently deals with the technological aspect, including heat management. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes in detail the possibilities of saving measures in public swimming pool operations, especially in sanitary facilities, including reuse of wastewater from showers as a water source, or heat recovery from wastewater. The knowledge from the theoretical section is then applied in the practical part, where saving measures are proposed on the public swimming pool.

In the glare of a hot midsummer afternoon in 1968, laboratory work in the department of physiology at Freiburg Medical School had nearly dropped to zero. A siesta is not so uncommon in this southern district of Germany, where the Mediterranean way of life has chronically and equally infected both private and public affairs. On this particular afternoon, one of the present authors (R.K.) had decided to intensify his suntan in a public swimming pool, and quite conscious that he would not return to his laboratory, had carried along some recent papers related to his scientific concern, the cellular control of muscular contraction. When he had refreshed himself by swimming across the pool several times, he retired to a silent corner of the park and returned to the problem of intracellular Ca kinetics. This, he realized was the key to the Ca-mediated control of muscular contraction.

IN THE RECENT literature the atypical or unclassified mycobacteria have become more apparent. Pulmonary infections due to these organisms have been recognized which simulated tuberculosis. More recently, cutaneous lesions have been reported. This report was prompted by the observation of a primary cutaneous infection of some 22 years' duration caused byMycobacterium kansasii. No similar cases due to this organism were found in a review of the literature. Report of a Case The patient is a 42-year-old white man, a rice farmer from the south Texas Gulf Coast. At the age of 11, while roller-skating on a concrete sidewalk, he sustained a 3inch laceration of the right knee which healed uneventfully. He frequently swam in the public swimming pool, but remembered no trauma related to this. He first developed a verrucose growth on his right knee in 1943, at the age of 21, while in military service.
