Sistem Informasi Kalender Tanam Terpadu (SI KATAM Terpadu) merupakan salah satu inovasi teknologi yang dihasilkan oleh Badan Litbang Pertanian. Penerapan teknologi pada usahatani jagung hibrida merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Kelayakan teknologi secara ekonomi merupakan syarat mutlak bagi suatu teknologi agar diadopsi oleh petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menghitung keuntungan usahatani jagung hibrida dengan penerapan rekomendasi teknologi pada SI KATAM Terpadu KM 2017 dan, 2) menganalisis kelayakan usahatani jagung hibrida dengan penerapan rekomendasi teknologi pada SI KATAM Terpadu MK 2017. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2017 di lahan 11 orang petani kooperator seluas 4 ha di Kelurahan Kemumu Kecamatan Arma Jaya Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. Data yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan adalah data primer berupa data usahatani yang dikumpulkan pada farm record keeping. Teknologi yang diaplikasikan adalah pendekatan penerapan SI KATAM Terpadu dengan menggunakan varietas Bima 19 URI dan Bima 20 URI. Keuntungan usahatani dihitung menggunakan analisis keuntungan sedangkan kelayakan usahatani diukur dengan nilai R/C ratio dan B/C ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani varietas Bima 19 URI memberikan keuntungan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Bima 20 URI dengan nilai secara berturut Rp 13.312.862,-/MT/ha dan Rp 8.560.862,-/MT/ha. Usahatani jagung hibrida dengan penerapan rekomendasi teknologi pada SI KATAM Terpadu MK 2017 secara ekonomi menguntungkan yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai R/C ratio >1 dan secara ekonomi usahatani ini layak untuk dikembangkan karena memiliki nilai B/C ratio >0.

Agricultural production influenced by several factors including climate change such as drought. Agriculture is vulnerable sector to drought because it influences cropping patterns, planting time, cropping index, production, yield quality, and profit. This study aims to investigate the profitability of garlic cultivation influenced by water stress at various input packages in the rainfed highlands of Eastern Lombok, Indonesia (1200 m above sea level). Input packages that applied were reducing use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides up to 50% from farmers’ practices. Applied input consists of 4 packages, namely P1 (farmers’ existing practices), P2, P3 and P4 as reduced and modified input packages. Field experiment was conducted in Sembalun Highlands from February to June 2018 on a 0.4 ha rainfed highlands using randomized completely block design followed by economic analysis. Parameters observed were Revenue/Cost (R/C) ratio based on fresh and dry weight yield. Results show that highest R/C ratios for fresh yield was from farmers’ existing treatment (P1) followed by P4 with the value of 1.33 and 1.28 respectively, whilst for dry yield were 1.39 and 1.36 respectively, which means that expenditure of IDR 1 will generate revenue of IDR 1.33 and 1.28 for fresh garlic bulb, while for dry garlic buld were 1.39 and 1.36 respectively. However, in term of soil sustainability issue, treatment P4 is expected to be applied. This figure decreases when compared to the production of garlic in normal conditions. Drought that occurred since early April caused the crop faced water stress and unable to provide an optimal agronomic performance and productivity which led to decreasing yield and profitability for about 40-50%.

This study aims to determine the marketing of tuna fish in the city of Gorontalo. The analysis used includes marketing margin analysis, profit analysis, marketing efficiency analysis. The study was conducted in October-December 2019 in Gorontalo City. Tuna marketing institutions include; retailers, traveling vendors, and collectors. Tuna fish marketing in Gorontalo City follows general marketing channels, institutions that carry out marketing activities or functions from the producers to the consumers. Tuna Fish marketing is done alone by fishermen or through retailers, traveling traders and (local) collectors, and then sold directly to consumers. Fishermen sell to the market, limited to retailers and direct consumers, with marketing areas only for traditional markets in the city of Gorontalo. Fishermen sell fish to big traders, then big traders sell Tuna fish to exporters in Bali, Makassar, Palu and Surabaya. Exporters then export tuna fish to foreign countries. The initial price of tuna from producers (fishermen) is IDR 40,000 / kg based on the results of an analysis that shows that the margins of each marketing institution include retailers IDR 20,000 / kg, traveling traders IDR 30,000 / kg and traders gathering IDR 50,000 / kg . The highest margin is the trader 55.56%.

This study aims to analyze the profits of palm sugar business in Wanga Village, East Motoling District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was carried out from November 2020 to May 2021. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling method, namely 10 respondents from 287 palm sugar farmers in Wanga Village. Data was collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis used in this research is quantitative analysis, namely business profit analysis. The results showed that the large profits and R/C value obtained by all palm sugar processors when calculated with raw materials and labor, processors experienced losses. Meanwhile, if it is not calculated with raw materials and labor, processors experience large profits.

This research aims to analyze the benefits of hydroponic lettuce farming in Urban Farming in Batu Kota, Malalayang District, Manado City. The data analysis method used in this research is quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis used is the analysis of farming profits by calculating the difference between revenues and costs used. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through observation and interviews using direct questionnaires at the hydroponic Urban Farming site through direct interviews between researchers and respondents, namely business owners. Secondary data is the collection of data and research materials obtained from ebooks, ejournals, theses and other sources. The results showed that the revenue of the Hydroponic Lettuce business was Rp. 3,200,000, while the costs incurred in the production process of lettuce for 1.5 months is Rp. 913,609.20, so that the profit on the Urban Farming business in Batu Kota, Malalayang District, Manado City is Rp. 2,286,390.80, for 1.5 months/planting period.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the PROFIT of Tempe “BML” home industry in Kolongan Satu Village, Tomohon Tengah District, Tomohon City. This research was conducted for three months starting from May to July 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with the owners of the “BML” tempe home industry. While secondary data was obtained from the Tomohon Tengah District office, available books, and the internet such as a google search to access articles from various scientific journals and theses from other universities related to the research title, especially regarding profit analysis. The results of this study indicate that the home industry of tempe is profitable. Profit in July 2021 is Rp. 6,072,060 with an R/C ratio of 2.91.

This study aims to determine the business benefits of Purwanto Tofu Industry in the East Malalayang Satu Village, Malalayang District. This research was carried out during October to December 2020 starting from preparation to compiling a report on the research site in the Malalayang Satu Timur Village, Malalayang District. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with tofu industry owners using a list of questions/(questionnaires). While the secondary data was taken from the malalayang village office, east of the malalayang sub-district. The results of this study indicate that Purwanto's tofu industry is a small-scale business that uses soybeans as raw materials to be processed into tofu. The business owner's production process activities are assisted by 4 workers from within the family. Purwanto's tofu industry is an individual business or a household business. The source of capital used in producing tofu is its own capital for the continuity of its business. Purwanto's Tofu Industry Business shows that it has a profit, amounting to IDR. 45,492,500.00 per month.

The importance of small-scale maize cultivation to the Ghanaian economy cannot be overemphasized especially in an era where issues of global food security and sustainability are the topmost priorities in developing economies, however, little is known about their profit efficiencies and whatsoever determinants it. This study guided by the above questions adopts the stochastic frontier efficiency approach assuming a Cobb Douglas form. A cross-sectional data of 300 small scale maize farmers were obtained by means of structured questionnaires across selected districts in the Brong Ahafo Region. Frontier 4.1 and STATA 14.0 provides the maximum likelihood estimates of the stochastic profit frontier model. Estimated gamma value (γ) which measures the level of inefficiency was 0.73, indicating 73% variation in maize profit was due to inefficiency in input use and other farm practices, while 27% of profit deviations from the frontier output came from random factors. Further, empirical results show that farmers in the region had an average profit efficiency of 58%, with estimated minimum and maximum profit efficiency of 19% and 83% respectively. This implies that the average maize farmer in the study area gets a nominal profit of about 58% from their potential output given the current technology available. Practically, it suggests that there is an opportunity to increase profit by 42%. The inefficiency model established that access to credit, farmer education, experience, household size, access to extension and membership of farmer groups increases farmers' profit efficiency, while gender, age, and land tenure system reduce their profit efficiencies.

Glagahwero is one of the largest mushroom producers in Jember, though still lack of production. This research aims to determine factors of production, optimization of production factors, and profit by using optimal production factor. This research was conducted in Glagahwero Village with 32 samples of mushroom farmer. The samples were selected using total sampling method. Data were analyzed using cobb douglas production function to know the factors that significantly influence the production and value of the optimum input use of mushroom farming, and profit analysis to know the comparison of profit value by using the optimum production factor. The results showed that the area of kumbung, seedlings, straw and labor significantly influenced the production of mushroom in Glagahwero but the use of those factors were not optimal (ratio of NPMxi / Pxi> 1), it is necessary to add the amount of production factor use to reach optimal value. The value of profit by using the optimal production factor will be greater than using the actual production factor. The results of this study then become basis in conducting mushroom farming in Glagahwero Village optimally by taking into account the amount of input that use.

The successful agribusiness is based on farmer competency and their ability to make farming decisions. This research aims to understand: the characteristic of cabbage farmer; the revenue analysis and feasibility study of cabbage farming; the obstacles and the risks which are encountered by the farmer. Malang was chosen deliberately as the research location considering it as the centre of cabbage production. This research used a probability sampling, with 24 samples of respondent drew by a simple random sampling. Result shows that the majority of respondent are between 30-49 years old and most of them are elementary school graduates. Most farmers have worked on their farming for more than 20-30 years. Some of respondent has wide area of cabbage farming from 1-2 ha, that makes the farming profits obtained was Rp. 22,488,325. Result shows that RC Ratio were 2,16, BEP price is Rp. 1.174,39, and BEP unit is 2.811,19 kg. It can be concluded that cabbage farming was done during that season was highly feasible.

This paper presents a reliability model of a system having five units. First the proposed methodology is the assumption of the model. Calculation of parameters like Transition Probabilities, Mean Time to System Failure, Availability of the System and Busy Period of the Repairman comes next. We discuss particular cases by using tools like Fuzzy Theory and Erlangian Distribution. On the basis of above profit analysis is estimated.

We study the problem of profit maximization for service providers using a newly emerged business model in millimeter-wave (mmWave) high-speed railway (HSR) networks. In such business model, a service provider purchases data transmission resource from a network operator with a low price. Then, mobile users only need to pay for requested services provided by the service provider. To optimize the profit of service provider, the profit analysis and optimization framework tailored toward the new business model and mmWave HSR networks is developed. This framework consists of three main components including admission control, transmission control, and resource purchasing control. To obtain optimal policies for these components, a stochastic profit optimization problem is formulated while taking into account differentiated service quality requirements, wireless transmission capacity, and network system stability. Then, the formulated problem is solved by using stochastic network optimization theory and stochastic profit maximization mechanism (SPMM) is established. An extensive performance evaluation of SPMM is conducted in order to demonstrate its superiority.

The paper deals with the profit analysis of three non-identical units A, B, and C in which either Unit A or one of the units B and C should work for the successful functioning of the system. Two types of repairman are available in the system viz. Ordinary and Expert repairman. The expert repairman is called only when the system breaks down. Unit A gets priority for repair and is repaired by expert repairman while as Unit B and C is repaired by ordinary repairman if the system doesn’t fail totally. The failure time distribution of unit-A, B and C are taken as exponential. The distribution of time to repair of units is assumed to be general.

In this investigation, a single server M/M/1/N feedback queueing system with vacation, balking, reneging and retention of reneged customers is analyzed. By considering the mathematical modeling, we derive the steady state probabilities of the number of customers in the system. We obtain important measures of effectiveness of the model by using the stationary distribution, and develop a cost model of the queueing system. Further, a numerical study and a cost profit analysis are carried out.

Agribisnis in the field of food crops, especially Mustard vegetables and rice have favorable prospects. The mustard vegetable farming in the Sokorambi sub-district on a micro scale, is a hereditary effort with traditional methods, the title of this research is: Analysis of the ratio of mustard vegetable growers to rice farmers in Sukorambi District, Jember Regency. The specific objectives of this study are: To find out the reasons why farmers prefer to grow mustard or rice vegetables, to analyze the comparison of farmers' income between planting mustard vegetables and planting rice.The method used for achieving goals is: Profit Analysis, Analysis of farm efficiency with the R / C Ratio approach, Comparison of income of mustard vegetable farmers with rice farmers.The results showed that the R / C ratio for the two commodities is greater than one, which shows that it is worth trying. The advantage of mustard vegetable farmers is significantly different compared to the benefits of rice farmers.

This paper aims to investigate the emerging trend of a new warranty policy in industries, namely, complimentary extended warranty. For the warranty with complimentary extended service, customers can enjoy a free extended warranty if they register online before expiration of the base warranty. At present, with frequent technological innovations, customers are more willing to replace the product instead of repair, which makes traditional warranty less attractive. Since the warranty with complimentary extended service does not charge extra fees for the customers and the option of online registration is open to customers, it can attract a broad range of customers. Compared with traditional warranties, the proposed warranty provides flexibility for customers in their post-purchase choice of online registration. We develop a warranty model to investigate the popularity of the warranty. It turns out that the proposed warranty model exhibits advantages over the traditional warranties. The proposed warranty is profitable for risk averse customers and for products that heap benefits from customer information. We design and price the warranty for unit product when the customers have heterogeneous risk attitudes. In addition, we analyze the total profit and determine the optimal selling price considering the customer demand. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed warranty policy.

В статье представлены системы анализа прибыли с целью формирования механизма управления формирования, распределения и роста прибыли предприятий лесопромышленного комплекса. Рассмотрены основные аналитические коэффициенты анализа прибыли предприятия — экономическая рентабельность, финансовая рентабельность, маржинальная рентабельность, рентабельность реализации продукции, затрат и др.; коэффициенты, характеризующие эффективность распределения данного показателя на предприятии- эффективность налогообложения, коэффициент чистой прибыли, коэффициент капитализации прибыли, коэффициент потребления прибыли, коэффициент инвестирования прибыли, коэффициент выплаты прибыли собственникам. Раскрыты основные составляющие интегральной оценки прибыли предприятий лесопромышленного комплекса, включающие в себя модель Дюпона, SWOT-анализ, объектно-ориентированную систему оценки прибыли предприятия, портфельный анализ, позволяющие в совокупности с относительными показателями давать наиболее эффективную оценку прибыли и разрабатывать механизм ее управления с целью прогноза и роста в будущем.

Better management of the systems, reducing failures, enhancing reliability and availability, minimizing operational and maintenance costs are still challenging fields for industries. In this study, an attempt has been made to examine the profit behaviour of Textile Industry with single server subject to priority of a vital unit. The System consists of three non-identical units viz, Spinning (S), Weaving (W), Colouring and Finishing (Cf). Initially unit (S) is in functional state whereas the other two units are in ideal state. System fails only if all the units are in down state. Single server is available in the system to carry out the repair activities. The units acts as fresh as new one after repairment of the failed unit. Reliability measures are examined and arbitrary values are given to different failure and repair parameters to define the performance of various reliability characteristics explicitly.

The orientation of the profit-oriented company is the desired maximum profit achievement. Maximum profit desired by the company will not be easy to achieve without any profit planning. The existence of profit planning can help the company to know the amount of sales that must be met in order to achieve profit targets. One of the tools in profit planning is Cost Volume Profit Analysis. This research is a quantitative descriptive research conducted at WAHYU AGUNG paving factory which is engaged in paving industry located in Teja Barat Village, Central Hamlet of Pamekasan Regency. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data obtained by conducting direct observation and interviews. The analysis technique of this research consists of four steps: to know the contribution margin ratio, to determine the break event point of the company, to determine the profit to be achieved in the next period and to calculate the margin of safety of the company. The results of this study indicate that there is a contribution margin ratio of 38.12%. Break Event Point paving factory WAHYU AGUNG Rp 32.124.941,71 or 1.647 units / 33 meters paving . The target of profit to be achieved in November 2017 is 30% of the profit achieved in October 2017 so that the sales to be increased by 1,829.46 units / 33 meters paving from the sales rate in October 2017 with a margin of safety of 21.55%.

This paper express reliability measures of a cold standby system which have two units. In cold standby system one unit operative and other unit kept as a spare. In the system both the unit kept as non-identical. The each operative unit fails due to snowstorm with different failure rate. The system completely failed when the both two units are failed. The failed unit cannot be operative directly by the repairman. The failed unit under the snow, first digging out from the snow then hospitalize (repair) the unit after that the unit becomes operative. Some properties of reliability system such as mean time to system failure, availability and profit have been computed. At last particular cases have been taken to explain the model.

This study aims to analyze farming and factors that affecting the profit of red chilli farming in Tulang Bawang Tengah Sub-District, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency. This research uses survey method. The research is located in Tulang Bawang Tengah Sub-Distric, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency, which was conducted in April-May 2019. The number of respondent are 57 farmers taken by random sampling method. Data are analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. Furthermore, farming analysis is analyzed using income analysis and by counting the value of R/C to cash cost and total cost. Factors affecting profit function are analyzed by profit analysis UOP (Unit Output Price), which is a derived of the cobb douglas production function and normalized by output price. The results show that the average income of red chilli farming in Tulang Bawang Tengah Sub-District base on cash costs and the total cost is Rp47,486,701.79/hectare and Rp22,229,238.35/hectare, respectively. Red Chilli farming give a profit as the value of R/C to cast costs and total cost are 1,99 and 1,33. Factors of land area, seed price, SP36 fertilizer price, manure price, NPK fertilizer price, insecticide price, fungicide price and labor wages significantly affect to the profits of red chilli farming in Tulang Bawang Tengah Subdistric.Keywords : income, profit, and red chilli
