With the growing reliance of modern supercomputers on accelerator-based architecture such a graphics processing units (GPUs), the development and optimization of electronic structure methods to exploit these massively parallel resources has become a recent priority. While significant strides have been made in the development GPU accelerated, distributed memory algorithms for many modern electronic structure methods, the primary focus of GPU development for Gaussian basis atomic orbital methods has been for shared memory systems with only a handful of examples pursing massive parallelism. In the present work, we present a set of distributed memory algorithms for the evaluation of the Coulomb and exact exchange matrices for hybrid Kohn-Sham DFT with Gaussian basis sets via direct density-fitted (DF-J-Engine) and seminumerical (sn-K) methods, respectively. The absolute performance and strong scalability of the developed methods are demonstrated on systems ranging from a few hundred to over one thousand atoms using up to 128 NVIDIA A100 GPUs on the Perlmutter supercomputer.

At the current stage, an increasing num- ber of economic entities are exposed to various risks, both internal and external. The operating conditions for enterprises in recent years have changed significantly compared to previous years due to multiple causes: political, social, global, etc., which have created unpredictable or at least difficult-to-anticipate conditions, forcing entrepreneurs to seek new markets, new ways of operating, new business partners, or even to reprofile their activities. The issue of studying and managing enterprise risks is important because it allows them to take certain measures to prevent, limit, or avoid risk. In many cases, risks enable enterprises to understand their vulnerabilities and strengths, and the timely identification of risks for economic agents aiming to make a profit allows for more efficient operations.

In this study we aim to theoretically and applicatively elucidate two fundamental concepts: the concept of „professional identity” and the notion of „social maturity”. The research empirically establishes the link between social maturity and professional identity in teenagers during the professional identity crisis. The multidisciplinary approach of this study contributes to a deeper and integrated understanding of how personal values influence the professional and social development of young people. The study includes a sample of 250 teenagers and uses three assessment tools. The analysis of the obtained results shows that 35.6% represent the participants with a clearly formed professional identity, 20% show optimal social maturity. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating professional and social education within personal and professional development programs.

We present the capabilities of a compact dual-wavelength depolarization lidar to assess the spatiotemporal variations in aerosol properties aboard moving vectors. Our approach involves coupling the lightweight Cimel CE376 lidar, which provides measurements at 532 and 808 nm and depolarization at 532 nm, with a photometer to monitor aerosol properties. The assessments, both algorithmic and instrumental, were conducted at ATOLL (ATmospheric Observatory of LiLle) platform operated by the Laboratoire d'Optique Atmosphérique (LOA), in Lille, France. An early version of the CE376 lidar co-located with the CE318-T photometer and with a multi-wavelength Raman lidar were considered for comparisons and validation. We developed a modified Klett inversion method for simultaneous two-wavelength elastic lidar and photometer measurements. Using this setup, we characterized aerosols during two distinct events of Saharan dust and dust smoke aerosols transported over Lille in spring 2021 and summer 2022. For validation purposes, comparisons against the Raman lidar were performed, demonstrating good agreement in aerosol properties with relative differences of up to 12 % in the depolarization measurements. Moreover, a first dataset of CE376 lidar and photometer performing on-road measurements was obtained during the FIREX-AQ (Fire Influence on Regional to Global Environments and Air Quality) field campaign deployed in summer 2019 over the northwestern USA. By lidar and photometer mapping in 3D, we investigated the transport of released smoke from active fire spots at William Flats (northeast WA, USA). Despite extreme environmental conditions, our study enabled the investigation of aerosol optical properties near the fire source, distinguishing the influence of diffuse, convective, and residual smoke. Backscatter, extinction profiles, and column-integrated lidar ratios at 532 and 808 nm were derived for a quality-assured dataset. Additionally, the extinction Ångström exponent (EAE), color ratio (CR), attenuated color ratio (ACR), and particle linear depolarization ratio (PLDR) were derived. In this study, we discuss the capabilities (and limitations) of the CE376 lidar in bridging observational gaps in aerosol monitoring, providing valuable insights for future research in this field.

Common symptoms of the two groups were cough, weight loss, profuse sweating, loss of appetite and hemoptysis, while fever, headache, myo-arthralgias, and digestive symptoms characterized the TB+COV+ forms. The scores of radiological lesions in the TB+COV+ compared to TB+COV- group were significantly higher and persistent, revealing more frequent bilateral extensive lung lesions. There were no significant differences in the biological parameters between the two groups. Mortality was 2.2%, regardless of the association of COVID-19. The frequency of infections with Clostridioides difficile was higher in TB+COV+ cases.Conclusion: The co-infection of COVID-19 had a mild impact on the clinical and biological expression of tuberculosis diagnosed in a pandemic context.Keywords: tuberculosis, COVID-19 pandemic, co-infection, Romania

In the context of globalization, some companies have developed beyond the perspectives of their borders, becoming multinational companies. This way of development confers multiple advantages that can generate efficiency, competitiveness and profit. The decisions on which companies base their choice of states take into account aspects such as economic growth or corporate tax rates. In the context where some countries have strong economies and represent promising markets but have a high level of taxation compared to other countries, multinational companies choose to access promising markets while using various methods of tax avoidance. The purpose of this paper is to determine the tax avoidance methods practiced by multinational companies in the European Union and their mode of operation. We hope that this research can provide a broad perspective on ways to avoid taxation when debating fiscal policies.
