The paper aims, as the main purpose, at assessing the limiting factors of the soil quality in the perimeter of the Commune of Secaş, Timiş County, Romania. To achieve the aim pursued, we identified the main limitative factors of agricultural productivity and soil degradation processes. These were introduced in the database using modern methods, namely the GIS technique, for each soil unit, with "space" representations thereof. The soil surfaces on which each factor and/or degradation process is manifested and which is of particular practical importance in assessing soil quality were calculated automatically. The method used allows one to highlight the soils identified by various maps and cartographic representations. Most of the results were obtained from field work and calculations in the office and laboratory, supplemented by those from O.S.P.A. Timisoara and from literature. The importance of this study materialized in a complex database comprising all soil units in the studied perimeter, limiting factors specific to this area and degradation processes, as well as the establishment of fertility classes, i.e., the quality of existing soils in the studied area. The financial structure highlights the origin of the capital needed to finance the activity. Basically, it indicates the extent to which the company opts for equity and debt financing. It is difficult or even impossible to identify an optimal capital structure that is efficient for all firms in all fields of activity. Thus, the main objective of this paper is to identify the influence of the financial structure on the value of companies in the tourism industry. The value of a company is reflected by the efficiency of the activity it carries out. To the extent that it manages to obtain a higher profit, increase the value of the patrimony or use the resources at its disposal more efficiently, its value can be considered to increase. Another objective is to identify if during the pandemic the companies in the tourism industry changed their financial structure and also if during this difficult period there was a change in the influence that the financial structure has on the value of the company. The study carried out on the basis of information on 20 companies in the tourism industry, for the period 2008-2019 and 2020-2022, regarding the correlation between total liabilities, equity, leverage and the EPS (net profit/share) indicator, highlighted an impact moderate of the financial structure on the value of the company during the pandemic period.

The financing of the activity represents an important part of the company's financial policy. The working capital represents the resources that the company needs to finance its current production activity. Maintaining a balance between working capital and needs is a goal that supports the smooth running of the activity, which suggests that financial balance influences profitability, so the purpose of this paper is to verify this. In this sense, 20 tourism companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange were selected, using a data set for the period 2008-2022, processed through regression analysis. The results obtained indicate a correlation between the net profit margin (dependent variable) and the working capital ratio (independent variable). Also, the dependent variable is explained to the extent of 46.4% by the independent variables.

The data presented in this paper are part of a larger study that tests various hypotheses to determine the extent to which managers' and performers' opinions affect the general opinion that various factors identified above influence coaches' and mentors' performance. Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) represents the most common cause of diarrheic disease associated to public health services, an important public health problem due to the potential risk of complications, severe forms of pseudomembranous colitis and death. Although the great majority of CDI patients have a favourable response to specific antibiotic drug therapy, a significant percentage will present one or several relapses and the risk of relapse increases with the increase in numbers of infectious episodes, reaching 50-60% after the third CDI episode. Faecal microbiota transplant (FMT) is a proven effective treatment method with high rates of curability in recurrent and refractory CDI. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of foliar fertilizers, applied individually or in combination, on production characteristics and the production of pickled cucumbers grown in solarium, but also the combined effect of the two factors studied. The biological material studied was represented by two cucumber hybrids, SV 9007 and Kybria, and 3 fertilizers, Cropmax, Fury and Auxym. The study was placed according to the experimental technique for bifactorial experiments. The observations highlighted that the Kybria hybrid achieved the highest total production (80.2 t/ha) while the SV-9007 hybrid had the best production of 1st quality fruit, i.e. 65.6 t/ha of the total production of 72.8 t/ha. The fertilizer product with the strongest influence on production and production parameters was Auxym, followed by Furia. However, the combination of the two products (Auxym + Furia) had the greatest influence on production in terms of quantity and quality. The results support the cultivation of cornichon cucumbers, the hybrid SV-9007 F1 and the application of the fertilization products Furia and Auxym in combination, during vegetation. Coaching has developed in close relation to the economic context in each country. Thus, depending on the country, coaching acquires specific traits. If we analyze the status of coaching in countries with a similar development degree, we will identify differences. As differentiating factors, we identify: the economic environment, the level and quality of research in the field, the organizational culture etc. This paper aims to highlight the status of the coaching market in Italy. For a sector with high development potential, like social economy in Romania, a precisely designed research method was used, focused rather on the future than the past or present status. The Delphi method can produce relevant information about evolution perspectives of any topic observed, mainly emergent facts or domains with uncertain progress. Initially developed in the Cold War context, to anticipate the impact of the technology on warfare, it starts from the premise that individual predictions were better than group ones. This tool aims to reach the best consensus on opinions from a group of experts within the specific domain studied, using questionnaires applied individually and mixed with relevant feedback from the researchers. The present research used the Delphi technique and dedicated experts? contribution, in order to scrutiny analyze the evolution of the social economy in Romania, the current situation and the encountered problems, the legislative, institutional and fiscal framework and also how the European financial support works for this domain. Introduction: Inguinal hernia repairs are one of the most common general surgical operations performed in the world. There are many treatment options for patients with inguinal hernias including watchful waiting, open primary repair, open tension-free repairs with the use of mesh, and laparoscopic repairs. Case Report: We admit a patient with a right inguinal hernia. During laparoscopy, a left direct inguinal hernia was diagnosed, prompting the performance of a bilateral Transabdominal Preperitoneal (TAPP) repair. Results: The surgical procedure, including bilateral TAPP repair, was completed within 100min. Two polypropylene meshes were utilized, measuring 14x9 cm on the right side and 12x8 cm on the left side. Discussions : The bilateral TAPP repair, utilizing polypropylene meshes was successfully completed in 100min. The patient was discharged on the second postoperative day, and notably, no early or late complications were observed during the 14-day and 3-month follow-up assessments. Conclusions: In this case TAPP repair, demonstrates the therapeutic advantages of laparoscopic surgery for inguinal hernias. Early identification of contralateral hernias during the procedure allows for simultaneous repair, minimizing the need for additional interventions and potentially reducing overall morbidity. Additionally, the prompt discharge of the patient on the second postoperative day without complications underscores the safety and effectiveness of laparoscopic hernia repair. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Coaching developed according to the economic status of each country. Thus, depending on each country, coaching acquires certain features. Nevertheless, differences shall be identified upon the analysis of coaching in countries having similar development levels. Background. Movements such as walking, running, leaping, jumping, skipping, climbing and crawling are generally considered to be fundamental locomotor skills. Aims. The aim of this research is to highlight the efficiency of using practical routes to develop the locomotor skills in children aged 11 to 12. Methods. The research comprised a total of 50 students from "Mihai Viteazul" School, Targu-Mures, who were divided into two equal groups: Group I - students who developed locomotor skills with practical routes selected and implemented in the didactic process, and Group II - students who developed locomotor skills by specific methods of physical education repeated in isolation. The travel time (minutes and seconds) of two practical routes: route A consisting of 12 stations and route B consisting of 11 stations, and the technical level of the following motor skills: balance, jumping, crawling and climbing were registered. Results. Regarding the execution of the practical route A, Group I registered 2.11 and Group II 2.16. Group I recorded higher values in the technical skills assessment test compared to group II, the differences being: 0.560 balance, 0.200 jumping, 0.360 crawling, 0.400 climbing. Regarding the execution of the practical route B, Group I registered 1.54 and Group II 2.05. Group I recorded higher values in the technical skills assessment test compared to group II, the differences being: 0.640 balance, 0.200 jumping, 0.360 crawling, 0.200 climbing. In all tests, the values registered were superior to the standard ones, being statistically significant for p<0.0001. Conclusions. The findings confirm the hypothesis: by using the practical routes in physical education classes, the level of locomotor skills will be optimized. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Eggplant culture gets a particular attention in the western part of our country, being intended for it in the established vegetable basins from Arad and Timis counties considerable surfaces both in the field and in greenhouses and solariums or in other shelters made of plastic. In order to ensure the profitability of the culture on the background of the continuous increase of prices of any kind of energy (thermal, electrical, fuels, and so on) there have been many improvements in the culture technology: replacement of the natural culture substrate (soil) in greenhouses and solariums, utilizing at a large scale the drip irrigation and implicitly fertigation, introducing in culture new performant hybrids in terms of productivity and quality, the use in vegetation of some foliar bioactive products in the purpose of obtaining a better biding of flowers/setting of flowers and faster growth of fruits, to achieve a better resilience to extreme temperatures (low after planting in the field and extremely high in the summer - July, August), and so on. There was a need of increasing the photosynthetic yield of plants in order to make the most of the entire productive potential of the hybrids used in culture. Research goal was to gather data regarding soil tillage, operations with agricultural implements and machines to alter soil features and to guide vegetation factors (water, air, heat, nutrients and biological activity) thus developing optimum conditions for crop development. Research objective was unconventional soil tillage on vertisol. Soil tillage has been integrant part of agriculture since times immemorial and it has helped preparing the germination bed, reducing soil compaction (to increase soil aeration and improve root system development), reducing weeding, incorporating fertilisers and amendments, and managing plant debris. Obtaining high and superior qualitative tomato yields, in conditions of forced culture system, being economically profitable, depends on modernizing the culture technology. In classical Venlo industrial greenhouses, modernization is possible till the technical limit allowed by their construction type. Among the technological links that can be modernized, and to which we refer in this study, are the following: cultivation of performant hybrids with high quantitative and qualitative potential (Noralee F1 and Marissa F1); fertilization during vegetation with modern chemicals, completely soluble (Yara and Haifa Chemicals), applied using drip irrigation system; using mineral wool as culture substrate (Grodan) and applying new and efficient methods for improving flower bind (pollination with bumblebees - Biobest or Natupol). This article presents the impact of all these modernized technological links upon the quantitative and qualitative tomatoes yields. Tomato-Stim determined large tomato yields, but the best results upon the yield quantity and quality were obtained from those tomato plants where natural pollination was improved by the use of bumblebees. Most of the results showed that the quality of the obtained yields (namely Extra+Ist quality) finds itself in a reversed proportionality with the production quantity per hectare. The influence of both graduation of the fertigation systems are substantiated in the very close quantitative production and from a statistic point of view were not covered, as there were no significant production differences. Results lead us to recommend the cultivation of Noralee F1 hybrid, the use of any of the fertilizers Yara and Haifa Chemicals via fertigation and the use of bumblebees (Biobest or Natupol) to improve the tomato flower binding and to obtain superior quality fruits. Among the many Palaeolithic discoveries in the Bistriţei Valley, an impressive collection of lithic materials (almost 3,000 pieces) have been collected, over the years, from Izvorul Alb-Bicaz (north-eastern Romania). Most of the items come from surface recoveries and at this moment no site has been accurately located. We present an analysis of the first collection of lithic materials found at Izvorul Alb in 1977 and 1978, recovered from two distinct places, Baicu and Piciorul Gol. Our observations point to several differences between the items collected in the two places. Generally, some of the items come from a late Palaeolithic level, Epigravettian or even Epipalaeolithic, and the rest of lithic materials may belong to Gravettian traditions sensu lato. An increasing number of scientific papers has been written on the topic of resilience. It explains the way individuals and regions face to shocks and stressors. It focuses on farmers' resilience and food security. The main shocks related to food insecurity are weather variability, volatility, and agricultural assets. We assume that the level of assets plays a role in assessing the risk level of individuals' exposure to shocks and stressors. The case of Romania is discussed, using statistical data concerning land, machineries and livestock, as main agricultural assets. The data have been analyzed using simple regression model. The results show medium influences of the agricultural assets on food supply. Significant influences have registered in macro region four: West and South-West, for land, machineries and swine. The results can be used in political frameworks and strategies and to widening the knowledge in the field of farmers' resilience.
