- Abstract
The article presents the methods and the results of the experimental investigation of the additive influence of shungite nanopowder when mixed in the glue for three-ply particle board. The hypothesis of shungite nanopowder influence on physical-mechanical properties, water absorption and thickness swelling of wood particle board was formulated. The results of experimental investigations proved that the optimum shungite nanopowder quantity in glue solution makes up about 10 % of absolutely dry resin mass. Wooden particles of aspen and coniferous species, as well as glue solution based on carbamide-formaldehyde resin, were used in boards manufacturing. The samples were tested in order to determine physical-mechanical properties. It was found out that the 10 % shungite nanopowder additive increases the breaking point of three-ply particle board under bending strength by 18.3-25.7 %, the breaking point of three-ply particle board under tension perpendicular to the face of board by 7.5-11.7 %. As the result of experimental investigation it was found out that the 10 % shungite nanopowder when mixed in the glue decreases water thickness swelling of three-ply particle board up to 14.2 % and water absorption by 10.6-20.1 %. 54. Energy-Absorbing Cab Support of Forest Machine

- Abstract
One of the requirements to the cabin of a forestry machine is the ability to absorb a certain amount of energy during deformation in the event of a rollover. The paper presents a method for increasing energy absorption of protective structure of a forestry machine cabin, enabling to reduce the risk of injuries to the operators in the event of an emergency. This is achieved by introducing into the structure of the protective frame of a cab energy-absorbing mounts in which the energy is absorbed due to plastic deformation of their elements in the event of a rollover of forestry machine. The article presents the design of the mount, describes the principle of its operation in the event of an emergency, and theoretical and experimental studies of the deformable mount. As the result of theoretical and experimental investigations the geometric parameters of the energy-absorbing mount are determined.

A short introduction to the catastrophe theory is presented, the statement of optimal design problem is given in the first part of the paper. A single criterion design is presented; the reliability function is used as the objective function. The last part is focused on probability approach. Manage variables are viewed as random stationary processes, statistical linearization method and Pearson moment method are used for the reliability function evaluation.

The development of new catastrophe theory methods, coupled with probability theory is opening new possibilities to estimate the reliability measures. A brief review of the cusp catastrophe is presented in the introduction. The second part is devoted to probability approach. Manage variables are viewed as stationary random processes (functions) and a problem of overshoot of random function is formulated. Mean number of zero crossings by Gaussian random stationary process is evaluated; analytical equations to estimate the reliability function are obtained.

The limits on the parameters of the v→ v oscillations are obtained in the E-564 hybrid experiment: Δ m≦4.5 eV and sin(2θ)≦6.0·10 (90% CL). A possibility of direct observation of τ-lepton decays in the nuclear emulsion vertex detector allowed the sensitivity of this experiment to the parameters of the oscillations to be increased. - Abstract
We present results on the experimental study of inelastic charged-current antineutrino-nucleon scattering in the energy range of 10–200 GeV. The data sample, consisting of about 6500 antineutrino-induced events, was obtained in the Fermilab 15 ft bubble chamber filled with a heavy neon-hydrogen mixture. The differential cross sections for ¯νμN interactions are presented in terms of scaling variables xand y. The structure functions F2νand xF3¯νhave been evaluated as functions of x and E¯ν. A deviation from the scaling hypothesis, similar to those found in other experiments on inelastic lepton-nucleon scattering, has been observed. The data are interpreted in the framework of the quark-parton model. Quark and antiquark distributions and their energy dependences are presented.

The limits on the parameters of thev
μ →vτ oscillations are obtained in the E-564 hybrid experiment: Δm2 ≦4.5 eV2 and sin2 (2θ)≦6.0·10−2 (90% CL). A possibility of direct observation of τ-lepton decays in the nuclear emulsion vertex detector allowed the sensitivity of this experiment to the parameters of the oscillations to be increased.- Published

93. Optimal design based on probability approach and fracture mechanics

- Abstract
This paper deals with the statistical fracture mechanical method for the optimal design of forest machine components. The problem of optimal design includes the choice of the objective function and independent design variables and establishment of the system limits. The objective function is determined as the mean total cost that includes the initial cost and the cost of failure according to the failure probability. A quasi-brittle fracture occurs under the influence of the stationary random process of loading. Analytical equations of reliability function estimation are obtained. The algorithm of the random search method includes an interval reduction with regard to zone and functional constraints. The approach to the optimal design problem solution can be applied to obtain optimal geometrical sizes and permissible limit defect values of machine components.

Educational migration plays an important role in the implementation of admission plans for applicants to higher education institutions in a significant number of Russian regions. The aim of the work is to find out which regions are the most attractive for graduates in terms of higher education on the basis of the study of interregional migration of university entrants, as well as to identify the factors influencing the educational attractiveness of the regions. The research methodology is based on the statistical approach, which allows us to use publicly available data from official statistics. The information base of the study was the data of the federal statistical observation forms No. VPO-1, No. OO-1, as well as other official statistical data of the Federal State Statistics Service. The methods of the study included methods of comparative analysis and descriptive statistics, methods of data mining, such as analysis of key factors of influence and clustering. The main indicator of educational migration was selected as a statistical indicator – the share of students from the total enrollment who received a previous education in another subject of the Russian Federation. The analysis revealed ten factors that have the greatest influence on the indicator of educational migration. The clustering of 83 regions according to the space of selected characteristics resulted in five clusters with different values of the indicator of educational migration and different values of indicators of the quality of life. Three territorially different educational centers of gravity were identified: “Metropolitan”, “Southern” and “Siberian”, which include 27 regions of Russia from the two best clusters by the indicator of educational migration. The regions of the Arctic zone of the Northwestern Federal District and the Far East enjoy the least educational popularity. The trend has been revealed, which is a decrease in the value of the indicator of educational migration of most regions as they move away from the “metropolitan” educational center. The results of the study can be useful to the executive authorities of the regions when solving the tasks in the sphere of educational migration flows management.

- Abstract
The methods and results of experimental investigation on the additive influence of amorphous silica micro powder when mixed in the glue for one-ply particle board are presented in the article. Wooden particles of coniferous and hardwood species as well as glue solution based on carbamide-formaldehyde resin were used for boards manufacturing. The amorphous silica micro powder contained particles on the average 8 um by the size and specific surface 120...400 m2/g was used in experiment. The samples were tested to determine their physical-mechanical properties. It was found that 1 % amorphous silica micro powder additive increases the breaking point of one-ply particle board under tensile stress by 143 %.

96. Thermal Insulation Properties Research of the Composite Material "Water Glass - Graphite Microparticles"

- Abstract
Research results for the composite material (CM) "water glass - graphite microparticles" with high thermal stability and thermal insulation properties are given. A composition is proposed consisting of graphite (42 % by weight), water glass Na2O(SiO2)n (50% by weight) and the hardener - sodium silicofluoride Na2SiF6 (8% by weight). Processing technology of such composition is suggested. Experimental samples of the CM with filler particles (graphite) of a few microns in size were obtained. This is confirmed by a study of samples using X-ray diffraction analysis and electron microscopy. The qualitative and quantitative phase analysis of the CM structure was done. Values of limit load causing destruction of the CM were identified. The character of the rupture surface was detected. Numerical values of the specific heat and thermal conductivity were defined. Dependence of the specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity on temperature during monotonic heating was obtained experimentally. Studies have confirmed the increased thermal insulation properties of the proposed composition. The CM with such properties can be recommended as a coating designed to reduce heat losses and resistant to high temperatures. Due to accessibility and low cost of its components the proposed material can be produced on an industrial scale.

The article is devoted to the study of the supply of the forestry industry in the regions of the Arctic and the North-West of Russia with higher education personnel. It analyzes statistical data from four forms of state federal reporting for 2022. The list of areas of training and specialties of higher education organizations, in which the training of highly qualified personnel for the timber industry is carried out, was determined. A group of economic activities related to the five main areas of the forestry complex was formed. We calculated estimates of the annual additional needs of the forestry complex of the Arctic and Northwest Russia macro-region in personnel with higher education. Based on these data, a comparative analysis of the output of higher education institutions in the areas of training and specialties of the forest industry and the volume of staffing needs of forestry complex organizations in employees with higher education in 15 subjects of this macroregion was conducted. The analysis revealed the subjects, the staffing needs of which can be met by graduates from their region, as well as the subjects that need graduates from other regions to cover the needs.

- Abstract
Two-particle azimuthal correlation functions are presented for charged hadrons produced in Au+Au collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (sqrt [s(NN)]=130 GeV). The measurements permit determination of elliptic flow without event-by-event estimation of the reaction plane. The extracted elliptic flow values (v2) show significant sensitivity to both the collision centrality and the transverse momenta of emitted hadrons, suggesting rapid thermalization and relatively strong velocity fields. When scaled by the eccentricity of the collision zone epsilon, the scaled elliptic flow shows little or no dependence on centrality for charged hadrons with relatively low p(T). A breakdown of this epsilon scaling is observed for charged hadrons with pT >1.0 GeV/c.

- Abstract
We present results on the measurement of Lambda and Lambda(macro) production in Au+Au collisions at square root of (S (NN) = 130 GeV with the PHENIX detector at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The transverse momentum spectra were measured for minimum bias and for the 5% most central events. The Lambda;/Lambda ratios are constant as a function of p(T) and the number of participants. The measured net Lambda density is significantly larger than predicted by models based on hadronic strings (e.g., HIJING) but in approximate agreement with models which include the gluon-junction mechanism.
