This study aims to improve the management of Islamic Study Group ("Majelis Ta'lim") in Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta). The research employed qualitative research with a case study approach. The study was conducted at Jamiyyatul Ummahat Majelis Ta'lim (the name of Islamic Study Group) and four people participated in this study, namely 1) head of the majelis ta'lim, 2) staff of the majelis ta'lim, 3) the teacher, 4) the member. Data collection involved observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation. Data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman's Interactive Model. The results of the study showed that the management of the Jamiyyatul Ummahat Majelis (the name of Islamic Study Group had been developed in terms of its modernization in the learning management, improvement of human resources, as well as the management of financial systems and infrastructures. It also focused itself on the level of quality achievement gradually and sustainably. The results also underline that the modernization occurred because of several factors, including the management function in the administration of the majelis ta'lim and the educational level improvement of human resources. The leaders and administrators of majelis ta'lim were elementary school graduates, but now 75% of them hold an undergraduate degree. Thus, the improvement of education leads to better and more modern management.

Mahasantri (an Islamic university students) is an agent for Islamic Higher Education Institution to face the Moderate Islam Malay Era. In Indonesia, for example, there is a university boarding school program for Mahasantri to improve their personality and competence. This study is trying to find out whether the program has been aligned with their satisfaction. One of service they received in the boarding is English Language Learning program. They are going to be interviewed about their satisfaction toward the program. Then, the interview result will be analyzed to generate the satisfaction indicator referring to five dimensions of Service Quality (SQ) by Parasuraman and Berry (1991).

Genetics as a core concept of life science is essential for understanding biology. Examining genetics understanding among biology majors is becoming important since they must necessarily achieve some level of genetics understanding to advance their career. This study compares Indonesian biology majors' genetics understanding with previously published data from students in the United States (US). This study also identifies the effect of academic year and program on genetics understanding by administering the Genetics Concept Assessment (GCA) to 377 biology majors in Indonesia. IRT-Rasch modeling was performed for instrument validation, followed by one-way ANOVA and independent sample t-test for the analysis. The results showed that Indonesian biology majors' genetics understanding was significantly affected by academic year but was not affected by the academic program. Indonesian biology majors had a slightly similar level of genetics understanding with US non-majors' pre-test scores, while Indonesian biology majors' scores were two times lower than US majors' post-test scores. The implications of reducing the gap between two countries are discussed.

Speaking skills by retelling have the aim of providing information by conveying expressions of feelings that are in accordance with the experiences experienced. The purpose of this study was to assess students' understanding of the level of creativity and concentration of students in storytelling, especially in retelling the story of the Formulation of the Proclamation Text. This research was conducted at SDN Kunciran 4 Tangerang City with the research subjects used as many as 15 students of class V elementary school category. The data collection technique used is descriptive qualitative research with the data collection process using observation, interviews and tests. Researchers looked at every practice carried out by students. The results of the analysis show that the skill level of the fifth grade students of SDN Kunciran 4 in learning Indonesian is quite good on several indicators. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that telling stories in front of the class can be mastered if students already have a sufficient level of confidence so that students will easily master themselves and tell stories carefully in front of the class.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had many impacts on health services. As the most health workers who stand on the front lines, nurses have faced many ethical challenges when treating patients with COVID-19. The ethical challenge of nurses is basically due to the gap between nursing practice and nursing goals. This study aims to identify empirical evidence related to nurses' ethical challenges when caring for COVID-19 patients. This research method uses a literature study analyzing articles from four reputable databases such as Pubmed, Proquest, CINAHL, Science Direct, and one search engine Google Scholar with publication years between 2020 - 2021. The keywords used are 'COVID-19', 'critical care nursing', 'caring', 'ethical challenges', 'ethical issues', and 'ethical dilemmas' with the help of boolean operators 'OR' and 'AND', articles were selected in stages using PRISMA. From the results of 854 articles, only 7 articles were identified that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The Article review result found three themes related to the ethical challenges that occurred, namely the ethical challenges in the nursing care process, ethical challenges in nursing professionals, and ethical challenges in health interprofessional relationships. Ethical challenges cause nurses' discomfort at work, and can even cause job stress. Regarding these results, nurses need to get support to overcome ethical dilemmas that occur through the provision of resources according to needs, preparation of SOPs regarding the roles and duties of nurses, as well as increasing knowledge related to the care of COVID-19 patients.

The difficulty of topical medication to penetrate through the nail plate brings a great challenge for TND treatment. We reported a case of TND in a 27-year-old woman, with clinical manifestation of trachyonychia, longitudinal ridging, mottled lunula, and subungual hyperkeratosis with ragged cuticle affected all nails. She has suffered from TND for 20 years with no systemic involvement found. Histopathological examination supported the diagnosis of nail lichen planus. The patient received a mixture of topical therapy consist of tacrolimus, urea, and salicylic acid, combined with fractional carbon dioxide (CO2) laser with pulse energy: 160 mJ, pulse duration: 8.0 ms, density level: 17, and depth level: 2. After two sessions of treatment within five weeks interval, clinical improvement was seen as refinement of nail’s texture. Treatment of TND often unsatisfactory due to difficulty of drug penetration through the nail plate. The fractional CO2 laser creates a column of destruction down to the dermis, which aid penetration of topical medication and stimulate nail bed rejuvenation. The use of fractional CO2 laser as a penetration enhancer can be a therapeutic option for the treatment of TND with promising result as shown in this patient. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penyimpangan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menggunakan media sosial selama pembelajaran matematika di pembelajaran jarak jauh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pendekatan analisis studi literatur. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak penyimpangan yang dilakukan siswa, seperti membuka media sosial saat dalam proses pembelajaran, rendahnya minat belajar siswa karena kecanduan media sosial, dan lain-lain.

The aim of this study is to see and to analyze what type of business strategies should be implemented to the halal-certified culinary SMEs named “Nasi Kebuli Bang Moch.” This study uses mixed-method approaches, equipped with its descriptive analysis. The measuring tool used is a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats), through the "Internal-External" weighting step, then equipped with a "Four-Step Strategy", in order to be able to determine the most efficient and effective strategy needed. In addition, to the strengths of its company and to achieve the expected sustainable business management, due to the result of the study which shows several weaknesses to be able to capture opportunities while at the same time dealing with threats, digital marketing and product variant innovation, becomes inevitable. Furthermore, its "cost leadership strategy" that had previously been implemented, must be maintained. To sum up, Nasi Kebuli Bang Moch halal SMEs business can continue to be sustainable, by adapting all developments of digital world businesses as well as its product innovation, at any situation and condition.

Indonesia’s inter-island movement of goods relies heavily on sea transportation because it can transport large volumes of goods at a reasonable cost. However, it is challenging to meet the same pricing standards everywhere, particularly for regions located far from the production centres. The government initiated the Motorways of the Sea Program to tackle this issue. Stakeholders in Indonesia’s maritime logistics should be involved in the implementation processes, including the port operators, the shipping industry, and the government as a regulator and infrastructure enabler. However, the democratic, decentralised, and pluralistic nature of Indonesia’s government, culture, and bureaucracy has challenged the implementation of the Motorways of the Sea Program. Based on a systematic map of each stakeholder’s interests, barriers, and expectations, the study used a systems thinking approach to capture the interactions among stakeholders’ activities and policies in the maritime logistics system. A causal loop diagram and a stock and flow diagram were developed to provide a holistic view of the system. Several systemic forces that became the leverages of the system’s performance were identified. The most important factors are infrastructure development, both physical and non-physical infrastructures that include information and communication technology, service procedures, and human capital supporting the service system.

Dari hasil observasi lapangan dapat diketahui hasil belajar IPA masih dibawah KKM, perlu adanya tindakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di Kelas V UPTD SDN 1 Bangkaloa Kecamatan Widasari Kabupaten Indramayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PTK dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar tes, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui aktivitas guru dan siswa menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa pada siklus satu memperoleh kategori baik, sedangkan pada siklus dua memperoleh kategori baik sekali, dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat tiap siklus, pada siklus satu belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan, sedangkan pada siklus dua meningkat lagi mencapai indikator keberhasilan. Dengan demikian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V UPTD SDN 1 Bangkaloa Kecamatan Widasari Kabupaten Indramayu dalam mata pelajaran IPA

In the context of Indonesian law, marriage is defined as a bond between a man and a woman, which explicitly closes the possibility of recognition of same-sex marriage. In the midst of international developments that increasingly recognize the rights of same-sex couples, Indonesia still maintains a conservaative view influenced by religious and social norms. This study aims to analyze Indonesia’s Law No. 16 of 2019 on Marriage in the context of the rights and obligations of married couples and whether there is potential recognition for same-sex marriage in Indonesia. The law defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman, excluding the possibility of recognizing same-sex marriages. The study employs normative legal research with legislative and conceptual approaches. The findings reveal that provisions such as the minimum age for marriage, dispensation, and marriage authorization are only applicable to heterosexual couples. The rights established in the law, including protection from violence and access to healthcare, do not cover same-sex couples due to the absence of legal recognition. The conclusion emphasizes the existing inequality in access to civil rights in Indonesia, particularly for the LGBT community. While challenges remain from conservative social and religious norms, discussions on potential future revisions to marriage law remain open, particularly within the framework of equality and non-discrimination. Lithium tetraborate (Li2B4O7) was synthesized using the precipitation-aided high-temperature solid state technique followed by heating at various sintering temperatures. Then, Li2B4O7 was doped with Mn using several concentrations to find the optimum composition. Manganese-doped lithium tetraborate (Li2B4O7: Mn) was characterized using XRD, SEM, and TL techniques. Li2B4O7: Mn was irradiated using Sr-90 at several irradiation doses to investigate how the material responded to the β radiation. Based on this experiment, the TL dose response is linear for the absorbed dose from 10 to 30 mGy. Such a feature makes this synthesized material a promising material for dosimetry applications. This study aims to determine the effect of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in reducing anxiety in unemployed pilot school graduates. The research method used in this study is to use an experimental research design. The research design that will be used in this study is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 9 graduates of the 2019 class of BIFA pilot school, while the sample was 3 graduates of the 2019 class of BIFA pilot school who were not yet working. And the results of this study state that there was a decrease in anxiety of 55% for the first subject, 32% for the second subject, and 51% for the third subject. This means that there is a change in reducing the level of anxiety in unemployed pilot school graduates after being given MBCT. Also MBCT is also able to reduce negative or dysfunctional thoughts. Aspects that decreased included aspects of labelling, catastrophizing, regret orientation, what if, mind reading, and should-must. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Self-awareness is an aspect of personal self that is closely related to self-description, self-evaluation, self-esteem, self-regulation, self-efficacy, self-emotion, and self-recognition. Self-awareness is considered important for someone to have because it is more likely to be able to act normatively. The way that is considered effective to increase students' self-awareness is through the learning process at school. Through the learning process can make it easier for students to understand the content conveyed by the teacher. In addition, the provision of material in accordance with the theme being taught can show the quality of interaction, learning and especially the achievement of the expected individual development. In this case, what is interesting for teachers at schools to do is to be able to increase children's self-awareness from an early age about the potential they have both inside and outside themselves or their environment as capital to develop their potential. So far, early childhood education schools (PAUD) do not yet have a curriculum and operational guidelines that are prepared and implemented in accordance with regional conditions and student needs. As for minimizing these problems, it is necessary to develop a curriculum in the form of modules that are suitable for student needs and can be used by teachers as a reference in providing teaching materials. Especially in this case the module developed is intended for students who are on the Indonesian coast by internalizing Indonesian maritime culture.
