This study was conducted in the poultry field that belongs to Animal Production Techniques Department / Al musiab Technical College. To investigate the effect of alcohol extracted ginger supplementation in the diet on some productive traits of broiler chicken ross strain. Two hundred fifty unsexed broiler chicks were equally divided into the five groups, 50 chicks per group, 2 replicates per group (25 chicks per replicate). Chicks were fed on starter diet (1 day- 3 week) and final diet (4-6 week), diets supplemented with five ratios from alcohol extracted ginger (0, 150, 200, 250, 300 mg/kg), the first group was control but the other represented experimental groups. Results showed a significantly improve (P≤0.05) of average live body weight, weight gain, feed conversion ratio and dressing percentage in birds supplemented with alcohol extracted ginger as compared with control group at three and six weeks of birds age. As supplementation of alcohol extracted ginger had significantly (P≤0.05) decreased feed consumption and mortality ratio in experimental groups as compared with the control group. It can be concluded that supplementation of alcohol extracted ginger to the diet had a positive effect to enhance productive traits of broiler chicken ross strain.

Menstruation and menstrual practices still face many social, cultural, and religious restrictions which are a big barrier in the path of menstrual hygiene management. In many parts of the country especially in rural areas girls are not prepared and aware about menstruation so they face many difficulties and challenges at home, schools, and work places. While reviewing literature, we found that little, inaccurate, or incomplete knowledge about menstruation is a great hindrance in the path of personal and menstrual hygiene management. Girls and women have very less or no knowledge about reproductive tract infections caused due to ignorance of personal hygiene during menstruation time. In rural areas, women do not have access to sanitary products or they know very little about the types and method of using them or are unable to afford such products due to high cost. So, they mostly rely on reusable cloth pads which they wash and use again. Needs and requirements of the adolescent girls and women are ignored despite the fact that there are major developments in the area of water and sanitation. Women manage menstruation differently when they are at home or outside; at homes, they dispose of menstrual products in domestic wastes and in public toilets and they flush them in the toilets without knowing the consequences of choking. So, there should be a need to educate and make them aware about the environmental pollution and health hazards associated with them. Implementation of modern techniques like incineration can help to reduce the waste. Also, awareness should be created to emphasize the use of reusable sanitary products or the natural sanitary products made from materials like banana fibre, bamboo fibre, sea sponges, water hyacinth, and so on.

This research examines the importance and status of the Arabic language and its impact on the Hebrew language and the Israeli dialectic, clarifying the issues and methods in which the Arabic words are quoted, as well as the reasons that led the Israelis to quote the Arabic words and subject them to many linguistic changes, both in terms of the structural structure of the words and the semantic meaning in order to qualify them. Background and aims Mucormycosis is an invasive fungal infection and carries a significant morbidity and mortality. A number of cases of mucormycosis have been reported in association with COVID-19. In this study, a consortium of clinicians from various parts of India studied clinical profile of COVID-19 associated mucormycosis (CAM) and this analysis is presented here. Methods Investigators from multiple sites in India were involved in this study. Clinical details included the treatment and severity of COVID-19, associated morbidities, as well as the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of mucormycosis. These data were collected using google spreadsheet at one centre. Descriptive analysis was done. Results There were 115 patients with CAM. Importantly, all patients had received corticosteroids. Diabetes was present in 85.2% of patients and 13.9% of patients had newly detected diabetes. The most common site of involvement was rhino-orbital. Mortality occurred in 25 (21.7%) patients. On logistic regression analysis, CT scan-based score for severity of lung involvement was associated with mortality. Conclusion Universal administration of corticosteroids in our patients is notable. A large majority of patients had diabetes, while mortality was seen in ∼1/5th of patients, lower as compared to recently published data.

This experiment was conducted determine the effect of dates molasses, ascorbic acid and feeding method on growth performance and carcass characteristics in broiler chickens. A total of 480 one day–old broilers Ross 308 were randomly allotted to 8 experimental groups in a complete randomized design. Basic treatments were divided initially at time of hatching, a- early feeding group which had a free access to water and diet from direct time of post hatching until 6 weeks, this group contained 240 chicks which distributed into 4 subgroups with 4 replicates/subgroups. The 1st subgroup was fed basal diet (control), the 2nd subgroup was fed basal diet plus 1000 ml of dates molasses/l of drinking water. The 3rd subgroup was fed basal diet plus 50 g of L-ascorbic acid/l of drinking water. The 4th subgroup was fed basal diet plus 1000 ml and 50 g of dates molasses and L-ascorbic acid, respectively / l of drinking water, b- late feeding group which had free access to water and diet after 12 hours from their reaching to farm until 6 weeks, this group was also contained 240 chicks which distributed into 4 subgroups and 4 replicates/subgroup with the same feed additives mentioned earlier.All the chickens were reared in the same environmental and management conditions. Growth performance (body weight, weight gain, feed intake, water consumption and feed conversion ratio) were determined on 3 and 6 weeks.
