Introduction CHARGE syndrome is a rare disorder that causes congenital abnormalities in multiple organs, including secondary hypogonadism. We report, herein, a unique case of CHARGE syndrome with both primary and secondary hypogonadism and discuss the possible causes and pathogenesis in this patient. Case presentation A 15‐year‐old boy with delayed secondary sexual characteristics and non‐palpable testes was referred to our hospital. Physical examination and detection of a chromodomain‐helicase‐deoxyribonucleic acid‐binding protein 7 gene mutation confirmed CHARGE syndrome. Hormone stimulation tests suggested both primary and secondary hypogonadism. Laparoscopic bilateral orchiectomy was performed because of decreased testosterone production and atrophy in both testes. Pathological examination of the testes revealed maturation arrest, germ cell neoplasm in situ, and decreased expression of steroid synthase. Conclusion This appears to be the first report of CHARGE syndrome with both primary and secondary hypogonadism demonstrated in endocrinological and histological examinations.

Abstract Introduction Dry eye can compromise corneal astigmatism measurement repeatability during preoperative cataract surgery examination. No previous studies have analyzed the effectiveness of long-acting 3% diquafosol sodium (LA-DQS) on astigmatism measurement repeatability. This research assessed the effect of LA-DQS on astigmatism measurement repeatability in preoperative patients with cataract and short tear break-up time (TBUT) type dry eyes in both eyes of the same patient. Correlations between repeatability and TBUT, corneal high-order aberrations (HOAs), and corneal astigmatism magnitude were also analyzed. Methods In total, 122 eyes (61 patients) with short TBUT-type dry eye were enrolled. Preoperatively, only one eye of all patients was treated with LA-DQS for 4 weeks. TBUT and corneal HOAs were checked using CASIA 2 before and 4 weeks post-treatment. The cylindrical power and meridian of astigmatism were measured at 3- and 4-week post-treatment using IOLMaster 700. Power vectors J0 and J45 were used for astigmatism calculations. Repeatability of astigmatism measurements was assessed as the within-subject standard deviation (Sw). The relative effects of TBUT and HOAs on J0 Sw and J45 Sw were also analyzed. Comparative changes in these variables were evaluated between treated and non-treated eyes, with additional analysis of their correlations. Results Treated eyes exhibited significant improvements in TBUT, HOAs, and post-treatment measurements of J0 Sw and J45 Sw at 3 and 4 weeks. In non-treated eyes, J0 Sw and J45 Sw showed significant correlation with TBUT and corneal HOAs. HOAs showed stronger relative associations with J0 Sw and J45 Sw than TBUT. In non-treated eyes, no significant correlation was found between cylindrical power and astigmatism measurement repeatability. Conclusions In short TBUT-type dry eye, preoperative treatment with LA-DQS significantly improved astigmatism measurement repeatability. This may improve the precision of intraocular lens (IOL) power calculations regardless of the magnitude of corneal astigmatism, especially when toric IOLs are used.

Abstract Unreinforced masonry (URM) buildings are prone to significant damage when subjected to ground motion. Some strengthening methods have been proposed to increase the seismic capacity. However, the widespread adoption of these methods faces various challenges, including economic constraints experienced by common people in developing countries, the complexity of implementation, efficiency, and seismic safety of each technique. This paper introduces a new retrofitting method of fiber-reinforced paint using fiberglass as the primary reinforcing material. The advantage of this technique lies in its simplicity and ease of application, with the added benefit of using the paint to improve the appearance of the house. Two 1:4 scale concrete hollow block (CHB) masonry houses were constructed to represent unreinforced masonry and retrofitted masonry structures using fiber-reinforced paint (FR-Paint). The shaking table test results indicate that the retrofitted house model showed improvements of up to 18 times in deformation capacity and up to 13 times in energy dissipation compared to the non-retrofitted house model. FR-Paint has a robust performance even in high input motion at a seismic intensity JMA of 7 (Japan Meteorological Agency). This confirms that this retrofitting method has a high earthquake-resistant performance.

Objectives The purpose of the current study was to explore the effects of a mobile health (mHealth) intervention based on the Persuasive System Design (PSD) model on health-related outcomes among office workers. Material and Methods The authors conducted a trial that consisted of a 4-week baseline and an 8-week intervention period by reference to 23 office workers in a private research company. The mHealth application was developed to improve these workers’ daily step count, decrease their sedentary time, and increase their sleep duration in accordance with the PSD model. The app features included at least 1 principal factor from each of the 4 main categories of the PSD model (primary task support, dialogue support, system credibility support, and social support). The objective health-related variables were measured using a smartwatch (Fitbit Luxe) that was synchronized with the application using the Fitbit Web Application Programming Interface. Subjects used the app, which included self-monitoring, personalized messages, education, and a competition system for users, during the intervention period. Results Sedentary time exhibited a significant decrease (a median reduction of 14 min/day, p < 0.05) during the intervention period. No significant differences in daily step count and sleep duration were observed between the baseline and intervention periods. Conclusions This study suggests that the mHealth intervention based on the PSD model was useful for reducing sedentary time among office workers. Given that many previous studies on this topic have not been based on any theories, future studies should investigate the impact of structured selection behavior change theories on health-related outcomes among office workers. Abstract Background The hyolaryngeal apparatus generates biosonar pulses in the laryngeally echolocating bats. The cartilage and muscles comprising the hyolarynx of laryngeally echolocating bats are morphologically modified compared to those of non-bat mammals, as represented by the hypertrophied intrinsic laryngeal muscle. Despite its crucial contribution to laryngeal echolocation, how the development of the hyolarynx in bats differs from that of other mammals is poorly documented. The genus Rhinolophus is one of the most sophisticated laryngeal echolocators, with the highest pulse frequency in bats. The present study provides the first detailed description of the three-dimensional anatomy and development of the skeleton, cartilage, muscle, and innervation patterns of the hyolaryngeal apparatus in two species of rhinolophid bats using micro-computed tomography images and serial tissue sections and compares them with those of laboratory mice. Furthermore, we measured the peak frequency of the echolocation pulse in active juvenile and adult individuals to correspond to echolocation pulses with hyolaryngeal morphology at each postnatal stage. Results We found that the sagittal crests of the cricoid cartilage separated the dorsal cricoarytenoid muscle in horseshoe bats, indicating that this unique morphology may be required to reinforce the repeated closure movement of the glottis during biosonar pulse emission. We also found that the cricothyroid muscle is ventrally hypertrophied throughout ontogeny, and that the cranial laryngeal nerve has a novel branch supplying the hypertrophied region of this muscle. Our bioacoustic analyses revealed that the peak frequency shows negative allometry against skull growth, and that the volumetric growth of all laryngeal cartilages is correlated with the pulse peak frequency. Conclusions The unique patterns of muscle and innervation revealed in this study appear to have been obtained concomitantly with the acquisition of tracheal chambers in rhinolophids and hipposiderids, improving sound intensity during laryngeal echolocation. In addition, significant protrusion of the sagittal crest of the cricoid cartilage and the separated dorsal cricoarytenoid muscle may contribute to the sophisticated biosonar in this laryngeally echolocating lineage. Furthermore, our bioacoustic data suggested that the mineralization of these cartilages underpins the ontogeny of echolocation pulse generation. The results of the present study provide crucial insights into how the anatomy and development of the hyolaryngeal apparatus shape the acoustic diversity in bats.

Abstract Adverse early life experiences are well-established risk factors for neurological disorders later in life. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the impact of adverse experiences on neurophysiological systems throughout life remain incompletely understood. Previous studies suggest that social attachment to parents in early development are indispensable for infants to grow into healthy adults. In situations where multiple offspring are born in a single birth in common marmosets, human hand-rearing is employed to ensure the survival of the offspring in captivity. However, hand-reared marmosets often exhibit behavioral abnormalities, including abnormal vocalizations, excessive attachment to the caretaker, and aggressive behavior. In this study, comprehensive transcriptome analyses were conducted on hippocampus tissues, a neuroanatomical region sensitive to social attachment, obtained from human hand-reared (N = 6) and parent-reared male marmosets (N = 5) at distinct developmental stages. Our analyses revealed consistent alterations in a subset of genes, including those related to neurodevelopmental diseases, across different developmental stages, indicating their continuous susceptibility to the effects of early parental deprivation. These findings highlight the dynamic nature of gene expression in response to early life experiences and suggest that the impact of early parental deprivation on gene expression may vary across different stages of development.

Abstract Numerous COVID-19 diagnostic imaging Artificial Intelligence (AI) studies exist. However, none of their models were of potential clinical use, primarily owing to methodological defects and the lack of implementation considerations for inference. In this study, all development processes of the deep-learning models are performed based on strict criteria of the “KAIZEN checklist”, which is proposed based on previous AI development guidelines to overcome the deficiencies mentioned above. We develop and evaluate two binary-classification deep-learning models to triage COVID-19: a slice model examining a Computed Tomography (CT) slice to find COVID-19 lesions; a series model examining a series of CT images to find an infected patient. We collected 2,400,200 CT slices from twelve emergency centers in Japan. Area Under Curve (AUC) and accuracy were calculated for classification performance. The inference time of the system that includes these two models were measured. For validation data, the slice and series models recognized COVID-19 with AUCs and accuracies of 0.989 and 0.982, 95.9% and 93.0% respectively. For test data, the models’ AUCs and accuracies were 0.958 and 0.953, 90.0% and 91.4% respectively. The average inference time per case was 2.83 s. Our deep-learning system realizes accuracy and inference speed high enough for practical use. The systems have already been implemented in four hospitals and eight are under progression. We released an application software and implementation code for free in a highly usable state to allow its use in Japan and globally.

11Beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase 1 (11β-HSD1) is a key enzyme involved in metabolic syndrome. Transcript-specific epigenetic regulation of the gene encoding 11β-HSD1 (HSD11B1) has been reported. We examined the mRNA level and methylation status of the HSD11B1 promoter region in the adipose tissue of patients with primary aldosteronism (PA). We compared 10 tissue specimens from patients with PA caused by aldosterone-producing adenoma (APA) with 8 adipose tissue specimens from patients with subclinical Cushing’s syndrome (SCS) caused by cortisol-producing adenomas, 4 tissue specimens from patients with Cushing’s adenoma (Cu), or 7 tissue specimens from patients with non-functioning adrenal adenoma (NFA). PA, SCS, and Cu were diagnosed according to the guideline of the Japan Endocrine Society. The mRNA level of HSD11B1 was quantified using real-time PCR. Isolated DNA was treated with bisulfite and amplified using primers specific to the human HSD11B1 promoter region. The glycohemoglobin level was significantly higher in patients with APA, SCS, or Cu than in those with NFA (p < 0.05). Blood pressure was significantly higher in patients with APA than in those with SCS, Cu, or NFA (p < 0.01). The HSD11B1 mRNA level was significantly increased in the adipose tissues of APA or SCS patients compared with Cu or NFA patients (p < 0.05). The methylation ratio was significantly lower in SCS patients than in APA, Cu, or NFA patients (p < 0.05). HSD11B1 expression is partly controlled by an epigenetic mechanism in human tissues. The pathophysiological role of epigenetic regulation of HSD11B1 expression in adipose tissue requires further study.

Key Clinical Message Haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) with posttransplant cyclophosphamide is an alternative treatment for aplastic anemia–paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) syndrome with poor prognostic factors. Ravulizumab treatment for PNH before HSCT might have a beneficial effect.

BackgroundLittle is known about the relationship between the disease activity of Behçet disease (BD) and the incidence of inflammatory major organ events.ObjectivesIn this prospective registry study, we investigated the association between the Behçet Disease Current Activity Form (BDCAF) and incidence of inflammatory major organ events, defined as the inflammation of the ocular, central nervous, intestinal, and vascular systems in BD.MethodsWe enrolled participants from Japanese multicenter prospective cohorts. The BDCAF was evaluated annually. BD-related symptoms, including inflammatory major organ events, were monitored. The association between BDCAF and inflammatory major organ events was analyzed by time-to-event analysis. An unsupervised clustering of the participants’ BDCAF, therapeutic agents, and multiple serum cytokines was also performed to examine their association with inflammatory major organ events.ResultsA total of 260 patients were included. The patients had a median BDCAF score of 2 [Interquartile range, 1-3] at the enrolment and remained disease active at 1- and 2-year follow-ups, indicating residual disease activity in BD. Patients with a BDCAF score of 0 had a longer inflammatory major organ event-free survival at 52 weeks than those with a score of 1 or higher (p=2.2 x 10-4). Clustering analysis revealed that patients who did not achieve remission despite treatment with tumor necrosis factor inhibitors had high serum inflammatory cytokine levels and incidences of inflammatory major organ events. Among the elevated cytokines, IL-6 was associated with inflammatory major organ events.ConclusionThis study suggests that treatment strategies targeting overall disease activity and monitoring residual serum IL-6 may help prevent inflammatory major organ events in BD.

Abstract Corneal astigmatism is reportedly associated with polymorphisms of the platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRA) gene region in Asian populations of Chinese, Malay, and Indian ancestry and populations of European ancestry. In this study, we investigated whether these PDGFRA polymorphisms are associated with corneal astigmatism in a Japanese population. We recruited 1,535 cases with corneal astigmatism (mean corneal cylinder power across both eyes: ≤ − 0.75 diopters [D]) and 842 controls (> − 0.75 D) to genotype 13 single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the PDGFRA gene region. We also performed imputation analysis in the region, with 179 imputed SNPs included in the statistical analyses. The PDGFRA SNPs were not significantly associated with the cases with corneal astigmatism ≤ − 0.75 D. However, the odds ratios (ORs) of the minor alleles of SNPs in the upstream region of PDGFRA, including rs7673984, rs4864857, and rs11133315, tended to increase according to the degree of corneal astigmatism, and these SNPs were significantly associated with the cases with corneal astigmatism ≤ − 1.25 D or ≤ − 1.50 D (Pc

Abstract Differentiation therapy has been proposed as a promising therapeutic strategy for acute myeloid leukemia (AML); thus, the development of more versatile methodologies that are applicable to a wide range of AML subtypes is desired. Although the FOXOs transcription factor represents a promising drug target for differentiation therapy, the efficacy of FOXO inhibitors is limited in vivo. Here, we show that pharmacological inhibition of a common cis-regulatory element of forkhead box O (FOXO) family members successfully induced cell differentiation in various AML cell lines. Through gene expression profiling and differentiation marker-based CRISPR/Cas9 screening, we identified TRIB1, a complement of the COP1 ubiquitin ligase complex, as a functional FOXO downstream gene maintaining an undifferentiated status. TRIB1 is direct target of FOXO3 and the FOXO-binding cis-regulatory element in the TRIB1 promoter, referred to as the FOXO-responsive element in the TRIB1 promoter (FRE-T), played a critical role in differentiation blockade. Thus, we designed a DNA-binding pharmacological inhibitor of the FOXO-FRE-T interface using pyrrole-imidazole polyamides (PIPs) that specifically bind to FRE-T (FRE-PIPs). The FRE-PIPs conjugated to chlorambucil (FRE-chb) inhibited transcription of TRIB1, causing differentiation in various AML cell lines. FRE-chb suppressed the formation of colonies derived from AML cell lines but not from normal counterparts. Administration of FRE-chb inhibited tumor progression in vivo without remarkable adverse effects. In conclusion, targeting cis-regulatory elements of the FOXO family is a promising therapeutic strategy that induces AML cell differentiation.

Abstract The present study investigated the role of a urethral support system to maintain urinary continence after robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP), with a focus on pelvic floor muscles, such as the puboperinealis muscle (PPM) and rectourethralis muscle (RUM). Finally, 323 patients who underwent RARP were analyzed in this study. All patients performed a one-hour pad test 1, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months after RARP to assess urinary incontinence and MRI before and 9 months after RARP to evaluate the pelvic anatomical structure. Theranostics (therapy + diagnosis) targeting prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is an emerging therapeutic modality that could alter treatment strategies for prostate cancer. Although PSMA-targeted radioligand therapy (PSMA-RLT) has a highly therapeutic effect on PSMA-positive tumor tissue, the efficacy of PSMA-RLT depends on PSMA expression. Moreover, predictors of treatment response other than PSMA expression are under investigation. Therefore, the optimal patient population for PSMA-RLT remains unclear. This review provides an overview of the current status of theranostics for prostate cancer, focusing on PSMA ligands. In addition, we summarize various findings regarding the efficacy and problems of PSMA-RLT and discuss the optimal patient for PSMA-RLT.

Abstract Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) activate anti-tumor activity by inhibiting immune checkpoint molecules that suppress inflammatory T-cell activity. However, ICIs can initiate excessive immune responses, thereby causing immune-related adverse events (irAEs). ICI-associated uveitis (ICIU) is an irAE that affects the eyes. Although Vogt–Koyanagi–Harada disease (VKH)-like uveitis is a common form of ICIU, it is unclear which factors determine the ICIU form. We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of nine ICIU cases treated with ICIs for malignancies. We also performed HLA typing in seven cases to investigate the association between HLA and disease type. Fisher's exact test was used for the statistical analysis. Five of the ICIU cases were VKH-like ICIUs, and four were non-VKH-like ICIUs. No association was found between mean age, sex, primary disease, ICI, time to onset, and disease type. Four patients with VKH-like uveitis underwent HLA genotyping and were all positive for HLA-DRB1*04:05. All 3 patients with non-VKH-like uveitis were negative for HLA-DRB1*04:05. Statistical analysis showed that HLA-DRB1*04:05 was significantly associated with developing VKH-like ICIU (P = 0.029). In ICIU, HLA-DRB1*04:05 was associated with the pathogenesis of VKH-like uveitis, suggesting that ICI-associated VKH-like uveitis has a similar pathogenesis to VKH.

Abstract Background Increased protein intake has been recommended to prevent sarcopenia/frailty, reports on the quantity and quality of protein intake needed and the associated prognosis, particularly in the aging population of Asia, are limited. In this study, we aimed to investigate the relationship between protein intake and mortality in Japanese individuals, aged 85 years and older. Methods The data were obtained from The Kawasaki Aging and Wellbeing Project, which is a prospective cohort study of older adults aged between 85 and 89 years with no physical disability at baseline. Abstract Introduction Although uncommon, incomplete capsulotomy, anterior capsule tags and anterior capsule tears are still encountered during femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery (FLACS), resulting in surgical complications. This highlights the need to improve femtosecond laser-assisted capsulotomy technique to reduce capsulotomy-related complications. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of a newly developed, modified technique of setting capsulotomy irradiation thickness in lowering the incidence of capsulotomy-related complications in FLACS. Methods This open-label prospective, comparative cohort study included 440 eyes (220 patients) treated with FLACS using the LenSx laser system (Alcon Laboratories, Inc. Fort Worth, TX, USA). Varying capsulotomy irradiation thicknesses were applied in each eye of the same patient. In Group 1, capsulotomy irradiation thickness was set between the upper edge of the highest point of the anterior capsule and the lower edge of the lowest point of the anterior capsule (modified technique). In Group 2, this was set between the center of the highest point of the anterior capsule and the center of the lowest part of the anterior capsule (conventional technique). Incidence rates of incomplete capsulotomy, anterior capsule tags and tears, and posterior capsule tears were compared. Results Preoperative baseline characteristics showed no significant differences. Abstract Severe failure of improperly designed and poorly constructed structures may occur due to the amplified and prolonged ground motion during an earthquake, and hence prediction of the ground motion characteristics at the soil surface is crucial. In this study, based on the prepared simplified engineering geomorphic map, we performed a one-dimensional (1D) nonlinear site response analysis for seismic site characterization of the recently proposed Detailed Area Plan (DAP) area of Dhaka City, the Capital of Bangladesh. The engineering geomorphic unit-based map was prepared from image analysis and verified with the collected borehole data and surface geology map. The study area was classified into three major geomorphic units and seven sub-units subject to the subsurface soil profiles. Nine earthquake time histories, seven from the PEER NGA WEST2 data set and two synthetics, and seven identified subsurface soil profiles were used for nonlinear site response analysis, along with the BNBC 2020 uniform hazard spectrum as the target spectrum. For the selected earthquake ground motions, the near-surface soil response of the DAP area showed de-amplification of acceleration in the short period and amplification of acceleration in the long period. The amplified long-period acceleration could cause severe damage in inappropriately designed and poorly constructed long-period structures. The outcome of this study could be used to prepare a seismic risk-sensitive land use plan for the future development of the DAP of Dhaka City.

BackgroundDementia shows sex difference in its epidemiology. Childbirth, a distinctive experience of women, is associated with the risk for various diseases. However, its association with the risk of dementia in women has rarely been studied.MethodsWe harmonized and pooled baseline data from 11 population-based cohorts from 11 countries over 3 continents, including 14,792 women aged 60 years or older. We investigated the association between parity and the risk of dementia using logistic regression models that adjusted for age, educational level, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and cohort, with additional analyses by region and dementia subtype.ResultsAcross all cohorts, grand multiparous (5 or more childbirths) women had a 47% greater risk of dementia than primiparous (1 childbirth) women (odds ratio [OR] = 1.47, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.10-1.94), while nulliparous (no childbirth) women and women with 2 to 4 childbirths showed a comparable dementia risk to primiparous women. However, there were differences associated with region and dementia subtype. Compared to women with 1 to 4 childbirths, grand multiparous women showed a higher risk of dementia in Europe (OR = 2.99, 95% CI = 1.38-6.47) and Latin America (OR = 1.49, 95% CI = 1.04-2.12), while nulliparous women showed a higher dementia risk in Asia (OR = 2.15, 95% CI = 1.33-3.47). Grand multiparity was associated with 6.9-fold higher risk of vascular dementia in Europe (OR = 6.86, 95% CI = 1.81-26.08), whereas nulliparity was associated with a higher risk of Alzheimer disease (OR = 1.91, 95% CI 1.07-3.39) and non-Alzheimer non-vascular dementia (OR = 3.47, 95% CI = 1.44-8.35) in Asia.ConclusionParity is associated with women's risk of dementia, though this is not uniform across regions and dementia subtypes.

Background: Strict glycemic control is important to prevent perinatal complications in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Patients often require insulin injection, and frequent hospital visits are necessary to adjust the dose of insulin, which is considered burdensome for pregnant patients. Telemedicine may reduce the burden of hospital visits, and previous studies have reported its safety in GDM patients. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of telemedicine in GDM patients, focusing on patient satisfaction and health economic indicators. Methods: This is a single-center, two-arm, randomized, open-label parallel-group study. Subjects will be selected from the patient population attending the Department of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Nephrology, Keio University School of Medicine, Japan. Patients diagnosed with GDM by an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) by 29 weeks and 6 days of gestation who have undergone self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) and insulin injection are eligible for inclusion. In the intervention group, telemedicine will be administered using the MeDaCa telemedicine system developed by the Medical Data Card, Inc., Tokyo, Japan. Subjects in the control group will be examined face-to-face every 2–3 weeks, as usual. We set health economic indicators and patient satisfaction as the primary endpoints, and will perform a cost-consequence analysis. Glycemic control indicators and perinatal outcomes will be evaluated as secondary endpoints. Conclusions: Eligible patients are currently being recruited. Recruitment will be completed when the expected number of patients are enrolled.

Key Clinical Message Disseminated carcinomatosis of the bone marrow is rare. We present such a case, which is useful for raising awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of carcinomas complicated by disseminated carcinomatosis of the bone marrow. Abstract This is the first autopsy report of disseminated carcinomatosis of the bone marrow (DCBM) in esophageal adenocarcinoma. Advanced poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with signet ring cell carcinoma arising in Barrett's esophagus caused disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) with extensive bone marrow metastasis, resulting in death from cerebral hemorrhage. Although DCBM due to malignancy is rare with poor prognosis, it should be considered in malignancies associated with DIC, and prompt initiation of chemotherapy is the only way to improve the patient's prognosis.

BackgroundWe examined how the relationship between education and latelife cognitive impairment (defined as a Mini Mental State Examination score below 24) is influenced by age, sex, ethnicity, and Apolipoprotein E epsilon 4 (APOE*4).MethodsParticipants were 30,785 dementia-free individuals aged 55-103 years, from 18 longitudinal cohort studies, with an average follow-up ranging between 2 and 10 years.
