Abstract

Two types of nanostructured materials have been synthesized by the template sol-gel method. It has been demonstrated that the structure of nanostructured samples is determined, first of all, by the type of the used template. At using the carbon template, the Zr-dopant enters the structure of TiO2 (anatase), thus distorting the crystal lattice. Using the siloxane-acrylate emulsion as a template results in the fact that the zirconium-enriched phase is located in the anatase inter-crystallite space. Abstract

The nanostructured Zr-, Hf-, and Mo-doped anatase TiO2 microtubes has been synthesized via a template solgel method on a carbon fiber. The correlation between synthesis conditions of materials and their structure and morphology was investigated in detail by means of scanning electron microscopy, small-angle X-ray scattering, transmission electron microscopy, and Raman spectroscopy. Abstract

The original way of synthesis of nanostructured iron oxides and based on them magnetic ceramics via sequential combination of sol-gel and SPS technologies has been suggested. High quality of nanostructured iron oxides is defined by porous structure (Sspec up to 47,3 м2/г) and by phase composition of mixed and individual crystal phases (γ-Fe2O3/ Fe3O4 и α- Fe2O3), depending on synthesis conditions. High-temperature SPS consolidation of nanostructured hematite powder, resulting in magnetic ceramics of high mechanical strength (fracture strength 249 MPa) has been investigated. Peculiarities of change of phase composition and composite’s microstructure in the range of SPS temperatures from 700 to 900 °С have been revealed. Magnetic properties have been studied and regularities of change of magnetization (Ms) and coercive force (Hc) values of the ceramics with respect to SPS sintering temperature have been described. Abstract

Fitted phase-shift curves from the threshold to the dipion mass, which is equal to 1 GeV, are constructed on the basis of all available experimental values of the S- and P-wave phase shifts for five charged channels of pion-pion scattering. The resulting phase-shift curves are introduced in the Roy equations in order to obtain the subtraction constants λ[sup I, sub l] (s). By using these subtraction-constant values as functions of the dipion mass, the S[sub 0]- and S[sub 2]-wave pion-pion scattering lengths are found to be a[sup 0, sub 0] = (0.240 ± 0.023)m[sup -1, sub π] and a[sup 2, sub 0] = (-0.034 ± 0.013)m[sup -1, sub π]. A strong correlation of the S-wave scattering lengths is demonstrated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

79. Violations of journalistic ethics in television programs as a subject of the modern Russian television criticism

Abstract

© BEIESP. The article reveals and studies the regularity and quality of coverage by television critics in newspapers of the journalistic professional ethic violations in television programs of five most popular television channels (“Channel One”, “Russia 1”, NTV, STS and TNT). Using the content method and comparative analysis, the authors of the article found that out of 1583 published in three years the topic of journalists’ ethical violation was covered only in 228 articles (14.4% of the total number of articles). Of the ten authors who regularly analyzed the content of television channels in the Russian press, only four critics did not remain indifferent and tried to draw public attention to violations of ethics on the part of television journalists. I. Petrovskaya, the reviewer from Novaya Gazeta, covered this issue more often than other critics. The most common ethical violation revealed by critics was the discussion in talk shows of not always proven mysteries from personal life of media people on the occasion of their passing. However, there were no special public discussions about the cases and reasons for ethical violations between critics and authors of TV projects, as well as critics and the audience. The article concludes that at present, apart from a public discussion of such cases, television critics have no opportunity to influence on the situation and change it. The authors of the article also concluded that there is a need for further constant and objective reflection of the quality of journalistic work at various levels, especially the practice of regional television journalism. The results of the study supplement the conclusions through the examples from the current practice of the Russian television criticism to the results in the articles and scientific literature of S.K. Shayhitdinova (2007), A. Kaun (2014), P.B. Orlik (2014), J.R. Linder, K.A. Lyle (2011).
