A series of Sr0.7Ba0.3Nb2O6−δ/x wt. % Ti (x = 1, 3, 5, and 10) composite ceramic thermoelectric materials were prepared, and the mechanism for improving their thermoelectric properties was explored. The experimental results demonstrate that nano-additive titanium powder undergoes oxidation to form TiO2 during sintering. However, under annealing in a reducing atmosphere, oxidation reactions further deplete the lattice oxygen, leading to an increased generation of oxygen vacancies and enhanced carrier concentration, ultimately leading to successful resistivity reduction. The samples consistently exhibit low thermal conductivity values below 2.0 W m−1 K−1 due to crystal defects, complex structure, and phonon scattering at the grain boundaries. The sample doped with 5 wt. %. Ti exhibits the lowest resistivity and highest PF value (409.3 μW/m K2 at 1073 K). Consequently, the figure of merit of Sr0.7Ba0.3Nb2O6−δ with 5 wt. % Ti attains its maximum value of 0.30 at 1073 K, representing a 50% increase compared to that of the undoped sample Sr0.7Ba0.3Nb2O6−δ (0.20 at 1073 K). In this paper, molecular dynamics method was used to design the grain boundary (GB) segregation structure of solute atom Mo in nanocrystalline nickel, and the effect of the segregation structure on the migration and deformation mechanism of nanocrystalline Ni–Mo alloy boundaries was studied. The results indicate that the addition of solute atom Mo can cause segregation at GBs, and the yield strength and tensile strength of nanocrystalline Ni are significantly increased through solid solution strengthening. Mo atoms segregation result in an increase of the GB thickness and stability of the GB. In addition, by labeling GB atoms and tracking their diffusion trajectories, it was found that after adding Mo atoms, the probability of atomic diffusion at GBs decreased. This indicates that Mo atoms reduce GB energy and improve GB stability. Meanwhile, as the Mo content increases, the degree of atomic disorder increases, and the probability of GB migration decreases. This leads to the inability of grains to merge and inhibit their growth, effectively improving the mechanical properties of the material. As the strain increases, the number and length of dislocations increase, and a large amount of entanglement occurs at GBs. With the increase of Mo content, the number of dislocations decreases sharply, with Shockley dislocations having the highest number. Shockley dislocations interact with other dislocations and hinder their generation and movement, forming a more stable dislocation system structure and increasing the strength of the alloy. Our work focuses on observing the influence of GB segregation structure on the mechanical properties and deformation mechanism of nanocrystalline polycrystalline Ni–Mo alloys, establishing the mechanism of the influence of segregation structure on the stability and coarsening of nanocrystalline metal GBs, examining the influence of segregation structure on dislocation motion and GB migration process during deformation, and proposing positive research and development ideas and theoretical basis for designing nanocrystalline metal materials with excellent performance. The synthesis of fully fused π‐conjugated cycloarenes embedded with nonbenzenoid aromatics is challenging. In this work, the first example of four‐membered ring‐embedded cycloarene (MF2) was designed and synthesized in single‐crystal form by macrocyclization and ring fusion strategies. For comparison, single bond‐linked chiral macrocycle MS2 without two fused four‐membered rings and its linear‐shaped polycyclic benzenoid monomer L1 were also synthesized. The pronounced anti‐aromaticity of four‐membered rings significantly adjusts the electronic structures and photophysical properties of cycloarene, resulting in an enhancement of the photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) from 10.66 % and 10.74 % for L1 and MS2, respectively, to 54.05 % for MF2, which is the highest PLQY among the reported cycloarenes. Notably, owing to the embedded anti‐aromatic four‐membered rings that reduce structural displacements, MF2 exhibits an ultra‐narrowband emission with a single‐digit full‐width at half‐maximum (FWHM) of only 7 nm (0.038 eV), which sets a new record among all reported organic narrowband luminescent molecules, and represents the first example of ultra‐narrowband emission in conventional polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) devoid of heteroatoms. At present, gradient‐structure alloys with strong properties can be machined by strong surface plastic deformation. This kind of alloy also has high strength, excellent plastic toughness, and work hardening properties. Herein, nanometer polycrystalline nickel–cobalt alloys with grain gradient are studied. The change of mechanical properties and evolution mechanism of internal defects of graded polycrystalline nickel–cobalt alloys under shear loading are emphatically revealed, and the unusual strengthening mechanism brought about by gradient structure is revealed. The results show that grain gradient microstructure can improve the strength and maintain the toughness of the alloy to a certain extent. The uneven grain boundary distribution due to the gradient structure brings different hindering effects to the dislocation movement. Molecular dynamics simulations were utilized to investigate the mechanical properties of the Al–Co–Cr–Fe–Ni high-entropy alloy and observe atomic microstructure and internal dislocation line changes under different parameter conditions. The findings demonstrate that the mechanical properties of the AlCoCrFeNi3 high-entropy alloy are significantly superior to those of conventional alloys in ambient temperature. During the tensile process, the face-centered structure undergoes interconversion with other structure types, while the internal dislocation lines gradually increase. The presence of grain boundaries impedes dislocation movement, resulting in lower deformation capacity and tensile strength in polycrystals compared to single crystals. Enhancing Ni content, increasing strain rate, and decreasing temperature during tensile process contributes to the enhancement of the mechanical properties of material.
