The structure, adhesion work, interfacial energy, interfacial fracture toughness and electronic properties of the Al(111)/TiAl3(112) interface were investigated based on first-principles calculations. The number of convergent layers on the surface of Al(111) and TiAl3(112) is discussed, and it is more suitable to stack 7 layers of Al(111) on 5 layers of TiAl3(112). The established interfacial structure was optimized, and the UBER method and the complete relaxation method were used to determine the optimal interfacial distance and work of adhesion. The Ti-HCP interface has the smallest surface energy and the largest adhesion work, indicating that it is the most stable. The Ti-HCP density of states map shows that for atoms in the first layer of Al(111) and TiA13(112), some orbital hybridization peaks can be seen, especially for Al-P and Ti-d orbitals. With a unique set of 54 overlapping narrow-band and two broader filters covering the entire optical range, the incoming Javalambre-Physics of the Accelerating Universe Astrophysical Survey (J-PAS) will provide a great opportunity for stellar physics and near-field cosmology. In this work, we use the miniJPAS data in 56 J-PAS filters and 4 complementary SDSS-like filters to explore and prove the potential of the J-PAS filter system in characterizing stars and deriving their atmospheric parameters. We obtain estimates for the effective temperature with a good precision (<150 K) from spectral energy distribution fitting. We have constructed the metallicity-dependent stellar loci in 59 colours for the miniJPAS FGK dwarf stars, after correcting certain systematic errors in flat-fielding. The very blue colours, including uJAVA − r, J 0378 − r, J 0390 − r, uJPAS − r , show the strongest metallicity dependence, around 0.25 mag dex−1. The sensitivities decrease to about 0.1 mag dex−1 for the J0400 − r, J0410 − r , and J 0420 − r colours. The locus fitting residuals show peaks at the J 0390, J 0430, J 0510, and J 0520 filters, suggesting that individual elemental abundances such as [Ca/Fe], [C/Fe], and [Mg/Fe] can also be determined from the J-PAS photometry. Via stellar loci, we have achieved a typical metallicity precision of 0.1 dex. The miniJPAS filters also demonstrate strong potential in discriminating dwarfs and giants, particularly the J 0520 and J 0510 filters. Our results demonstrate the power of the J-PAS filter system in stellar parameter determinations and the huge potential of the coming J-PAS survey in stellar and Galactic studies. Heavy metal-contaminated sediment may release harmful ions into the water column and seriously affect the growth of aquatic organisms. Biochar is a good adsorbent for water pollutants. In this study, a simulated water ecosystem with copper (Cu)-contaminated sediment was established to study the effects of biochar addition (CK: 0 g/L, T1: 3 g/L, T2: 6 g/L, T3: 12 g/L) on Cu content in water and the growth and accumulation of Cu in a submerged macrophyte, Vallisneria natans. Compared with the CK group, Cu contents in water decreased by 43.65%, 33.86%, and 54.10% in the T1, T2, and T3 groups, respectively. Cu contents in the aboveground part of V. natans decreased by 56.03%, 61.90%, and 52.38% in T1, T2, and T3, respectively, while in the belowground part Cu contents decreased by 17.46%, 11.94%, and 55.90%, respectively. The plant height, fresh weight, and chlorophyll content significantly increased with the increase of biochar addition, showing that biochar promoted the growth of V. natans. This study demonstrated that the addition of biochar in water could significantly reduce the Cu content in water and the accumulation of Cu in V. natans, thus reducing the harm caused by Cu to V. natans.
