ID-based encryption with equality test (IBEET) allows a tester to compare ciphertexts encrypted under different public keys for checking whether they contain the same message. In this paper, we first introduce group mechanism into IBEET and propose a new primitive, namely group ID-based encryption with equality test (G-IBEET). With the group mechanism: (1) group administrator can authorize a tester to make comparison between ciphertexts of group users, but it cannot compare their ciphertexts with any ciphertext of any user who is not in the group. Such group granularity authorization can make IBEET that adapts to group scenario; (2) for the group granularity authorization, only one trapdoor, named group trapdoor, should be issued to the tester, which can greatly reduce the cost of computation, transmission and storage of trapdoors in traditional IBEET schemes; (3) G-IBEET can resist the insider attack launched by the authorized tester, which is an open problem in IBEET. We give definitions for G-IBEET and propose a concrete construction with an efficient test algorithm. We then give its security analysis in the random oracle model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The challenges and difficulties encountered in 5G mmWave large bandwidth OTA testing were analyzed, and a variety of OTA test key technologies was put forward, finally the construction of 5G mmWave OTA test platform for a large bandwidth was discussed, the radio performance testing of various devices under millimeter wave OTA was completed. Background: As global initiatives increase patient access to surgical treatments, there remains a need to understand the adverse effects of surgery and define appropriate levels of perioperative care. Methods: We designed a prospective international 7-day cohort study of outcomes following elective adult inpatient surgery in 27 countries. The primary outcome was in-hospital complications. Secondary outcomes were death following a complication (failure to rescue) and death in hospital. Process measures were admission to critical care immediately after surgery or to treat a complication and duration of hospital stay. A single definition of critical care was used for all countries. Results: A total of 474 hospitals in 19 high-, 7 middle- and 1 low-income country were included in the primary analysis. Data included 44 814 patients with amedian hospital stay of 4 (range 2-7) days. A total of 7508 patients (16.8%) developed one or more postoperative complication and 207 died (0.5%). The overall mortality among patients who developed complications was 2.8%. Mortality following complications ranged from 2.4% for pulmonary embolism to 43.9% for cardiac arrest. A total of 4360 (9.7%) patients were admitted to a critical care unit as routine immediately after surgery, of whom 2198 (50.4%) developed a complication, with 105 (2.4%) deaths. A total of 1233 patients (16.4%) were admitted to a critical care unit to treat complications, with 119 (9.7%) deaths. Despite lower baseline risk, outcomes were similar in low- and middle-income compared with high-income countries. Conclusions: Poor patient outcomes are common after inpatient surgery. Global initiatives to increase access to surgical treatments should also address the need for safe perioperative care.

Abstract: Two‐dimensional (2D) engineering of materials has been recently explored to enhance the performance of electrocatalysts by reducing their dimensionality and introducing more catalytically active ones. In this work, controllable synthesis of few‐layer bismuth subcarbonate nanosheets has been achieved via an electrochemical exfoliation method. These nanosheets catalyse CO
2 reduction to formate with high faradaic efficiency and high current density at a low overpotential owing to the 2D structure and co‐existence of bismuth subcarbonate and bismuth metal under catalytic turnover conditions. Two underlying fast electron transfer processes revealed by Fourier‐transformed alternating current voltammetry (FTacV) are attributed to CO2 reduction at bismuth subcarbonate and bismuth metal. Traditional electrochemical biosensing electrodes (e.g., gold disk, glassy carbon electrode, etc.) can undergo sophisticated design to detect chemicals/biologicals from cells. However, such electrodes are typically rigid and nonstretchable, rendering it challenging to detect cellular activities in real-time and in situ when cells are in mechanically deformed states. Here, we report a new stretchable electrochemical cell-sensing platform based on vertically aligned gold nanowires embedded in PDMS (v-AuNWs/PDMS). Using H2O2as a model analyte, we show that the v-AuNWs/PDMS electrode can display an excellent sensing performance with a wide linear range, from 40 μM to 15 mM, and a high sensitivity of 250 mA/cm2/M at a potential of −0.3 V. Moreover, living cells can grow directly on our stretchable high-surface area electrodes with strong adhesion, demonstrating their excellent biocompatibility. Further cell stimulation by adding chemicals induced H2O2generation, which can be detected in real-time and in situ using our v-AuNWs/PDMS platform for both natural and stretched states of cells. Our results indicate the v-AuNWs/PDMS electrochemical biosensor may serve as a general cell-sensing platform for living organisms under deformed states.

- Abstract
We have recently demonstrated that Enokitakemushroom-like gold with nanoparticles as the “head” and nanowires as the “tail” could grow directly on elastomeric substrates, which are extremely stretchable electrodes that can be used as wearable sensors for detecting strain and pressure. In this work, we show that such electrodes can also be used as intrinsically stretchable glucose biosensors. By modifying the vertical gold nanowire electrodes with glucose oxidase and Prussian blue nanoparticles, a limit of detection of 10 μM, sensitivity of 23.72 μA·mM–1·cm–2, and high selectivity can be achieved. The as-obtained glucose biosensors were able to maintain a high sensing performance under various mechanical deformations. Even for 30% strain, a sensitivity of 4.55 μA·mM–1·cm–2toward glucose detection in the artificial sweat was possible. Furthermore, it was found that strains could be simultaneously detected with a gauge factor of 2.30 (strain 0–10%) and 22.64 (strain 10–20%), demonstrating the potential of such bimodal sensors to allow simultaneous monitoring of physical and biological signals.

- Abstract
A stretchable electrode is a crucial component in future elastronics (i.e.stretchable electronics) with implications in soft actuators, healthcare monitoring, and robotics to name a few. The performance of the stretchable electrode is generally evaluated in terms of three key aspects: sensitivity, stretchability, and durability. While encouraging progress has been made in the first two aspects, long-term stability remains a challenge because of failure at the soft/hard materials interface between active materials and elastomeric substrates. Here, we propose a new microsphere lithography-based strategy to pattern vertically aligned gold nanowires (v-AuNWs) with quasi-ordered pinholes, allowing ‘nailing’ of PDMS into the pinholes. This enabled substantially enhanced interfacial adhesion of 24 times greater than that without microsphere lithography. Moreover, the pinhole size in the v-AuNW film could be tuned from an average diameter of 0.4 to 2.8 μm. Both experimental and simulation results demonstrate that the sensitivity increased as the pinhole size increased. Our strategy represents a novel route to fabricate robust elastronic electrodes for potential applications in next-generation wearable and implantable devices.

- Abstract
Human skin can sense an external object in a location-specific manner, simultaneously recognizing whether it is sharp or blunt. Such tactile capability can be achieved in both natural and stretched states. It is impractical to mimic this tactile function of human skin by designing pixelated sensor arrays across our whole curvilinear human body. Here, we report a new tactile electronic skin sensor based on staircase-like vertically aligned gold nanowires (V-AuNWs). With a back-to-back linear or spiral assembly of two staircase structures into a single sensor, we are able to recognize pressure in a highly location-specific manner for both non-stretched and stretched states (up to 50% strain); with a concentric design on the fingertip, we can identify the sharpness of an external object. We believe that our strategy opens up a new route to highly specific second-skin-like tactile sensors for electronic skin (E-skin) applications.
