Abstract

The foundation of textile machinery digitization and intelligence is condition monitoring and identification. Online condition monitoring of looms is of great significance to ensure their long-term stable operation and improve their digital management level. However, the existing loom condition monitoring methods have problems such as insufficient depth of information mining, low condition recognition rate and poor system versatility. As a result, the loom on-board condition monitoring technology based on fuzzy rough set and improved DSmT theory is studied. To begin, we examine the loom operation mechanism, loom state characterization, and loom state feature data composition. Then, using the fuzzy rough set method, we analyze and make decisions on the loom state feature data, apply the theory of uncertainty and importance improvement DSmT fusion to solve the uncertainty problem of the rough set method's decision rules, and build the loom state feature decision network on the embedded terminal using the decision rules. Meanwhile, to collect, communicate, display, and alarm loom characteristic data, this paper employs the STM32F407ZET6 microcontroller and designs a loom system status data collection platform with the AD7730 as the core, as well as tests loom status monitoring data collection and loom status data analysis and decision method based on this platform. The experimental findings show the usefulness of attribute data gathering as well as data analysis and decision-making processes. The technology enhances the precision of loom condition identification and decision making, as well as the safety and quality of manufacturing. Abstract

Apple necrotic mosaic virus (ApNMV) is associated with apple mosaic disease in China. However, the mechanisms of ApNMV infection, as well as host defence against the virus, are still poorly understood. Mitochondrial ATP synthase plays a fundamental role in the regulation of plant growth and development. However, mitochondrial ATP synthase function in response to virus infection remains to be defined. In the present study, a yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) screening revealed that the apple mitochondrial ATP synthase oligomycin sensitivity-conferring protein (OSCP) subunit (MdATPO) interacts with ApNMV coat protein (CP). It was further verified that overexpression of MdATPO in Nicotiana benthamiana inhibited viral accumulation. In contrast, silencing of NbATPO facilitated viral accumulation, indicating that ATPO plays a defensive role during ApNMV infection. Further investigation demonstrated that ApNMV infection accelerated abscisic acid (ABA) accumulation, and ABA negatively regulated ATPO transcription, which was related to the ability of ABA insensitive 5 (ABI5) to bind to the ABA-responsive elements (ABREs) of the ATPO promoter. Taken together, our results indicated that transcription factor ABI5 negatively regulated ATPO transcription by directly binding to its promoter, leading to the susceptibility of apple and N. benthamiana to ApNMV infection. Abstract

Viroids are known the smallest plant pathogens, and although their genome sequences do not encode proteins, they can cause disease in economically important crops. In order to control viroid diseases and mitigate their damage, genetic resources used for breeding of the viroid-resistant crop have been searched, but the practical resistant trait has not been found in almost all viroid-crop combinations, as well as the tolerant trait. Due to the difficulty in exploiting naturally occurring resistance or tolerance, various effective strategies have been devised to control viroid diseases using non-transforming or transforming techniques. Meanwhile, extensive findings related to viroid resistance and tolerance may lead to confer resistance or tolerance to viroid infection by combining with the recently emerged new technologies (e.g., spray-induced gene silencing and genome-editing technologies), which are believed to be more environmentally viable and acceptable to the general public than previously reported approaches. In particular, some genome-modified crops produced by the latter technology are already on the market. In this review, we comprehensively summarize the current status about investigation of naturally occurring genetic traits for viroid resistance and tolerance, accumulating knowledge about host factors involved in viroid pathogenicity, and various basic technologies developed to try to possible viroid disease control strategies. Furthermore, we discuss prospects and challenges for the achievement of more effective, practical, and sustainable disease control of viroid.

79. Microsurgical treatment of blood blister–like aneurysms: efficacy of clip-on-wrapping with autologous dura mater.

Abstract

To present a consecutive 20-year series of blood blister-like aneurysms (BBAs) to show that clip-on-wrapping with a Y-shaped autologous dura mater enables treatment of BBAs with a low complication rate and a satisfactory curative result. A retrospective review was performed from patients with BBAs of the internal carotid artery (ICA) at the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from 1999 to 2019. Diagnosis and treatment options were analyzed. Outcome was assessed using the modified Rankin scale (mRS). A total of 30 patients with BBAs of the ICA were included. Among these patients, 20 patients underwent microsurgical treatment (15 patients were treated by clip-on-wrapping with a Y-shaped autologous dura mater), the other 10 patients underwent endovascular treatment. All patients presented with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Four angiograms were initially negative. For all patients, intraoperative rupture occurred in five cases, but no postoperative aneurysm rupture occurred in this series. Three cases with clinical or radiologic cerebral infarctions were observed. The outcome was favorable in 26 patients. Clip-reinforced wrapping technique using a Y-shaped autologous dura mater may be an effective method for treating BBAs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
