Objective: To investigate the differences in the metabolic indicators and sex hormones between obese and non-obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and their impacts on endometrial receptivity (ER). Methods: We selected 255 individuals with PCOS, and categorized them into the obese groups, including the OP group (obese patients with PCOS) and the ON group (obese patients without PCOS), and selected 64 individuals who were categorized in the non-obese groups, namely, the control groups, which comprise the NP group (non-obese patients with PCOS) and the NN group(non-obese patients without PCOS). The one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Mann-Whitney U tests were used to compare the metabolic indicators, and sex hormone-associated and ER-associated indicators between the groups. The correlation between the aforementioned clinical markers and ER was analyzed using the Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: (1) In comparison with the NP group, the OP group exhibited higher levels (p <.01) of free androgen index (FAI), anti-müllerian hormone (AMH), fasting insulin (FINS), insulin level within 60 min, 120 min, and 180 min—60minINS, 120minINS, and 180minINS, respectively, fasting blood glucose (FBG), blood glucose level within two hours (2hGlu), homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), waist circumference, hip circumference, the ratio of the maximum blood flow velocity of the uterine artery during systole to the blood flow velocity of the uterine artery at the end of diastole (uterine artery S/D), and blood flow resistance index (RI) of the uterine artery. In comparison with the NP group, the OP group exhibited lower levels (p <.01) of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), high molecular weight adiponectin (HMWA), and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). (2) In the PCOS group, RI was significantly positively correlated with FAI, FINS, 120minINS, HOMA-IR, and WHR (p <.01), and significantly negatively correlated with SHBG, HDL-C, and HMWA (p <.01); uterine artery S/D was significantly positively correlated with FAI, FINS, 2hGlu, HOMA-IR, LDL-C, and WHR (p <.01), significantly positively correlated with 120minINS and FBG (p <.05), and significantly negatively correlated with SHBG and HMWA (p <.01). Conclusion: (1) The OP group exhibited obvious metabolic disorders and poor ER, which was manifested as low levels of SHBG and HMWA, and high levels of FAI, HOMA-IR, WHR, uterine artery S/D, and RI. (2) In patients with PCOS, there was a substantial correlation between ER-associated indicators RI and uterine artery S/D and FAI, FINS, 120minINS, HOMA-IR, WHR, SHBG, and HMWA. Background: Lupus Nephritis (LN) is the primary causation of kidney injury in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Ferroptosis is a programmed cell death. Therefore, understanding the crosstalk between LN and ferroptosis is still a significant challenge. Methods: We obtained the expression profile of LN kidney biopsy samples from the Gene Expression Omnibus database and utilised the R-project software to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs). Then, we conducted a functional correlation analysis. Ferroptosis-related genes (FRGs) and differentially expressed genes (DEGs) crossover to select FRGs with LN. Afterwards, we used CIBERSORT to assess the infiltration of immune cells in both LN tissues and healthy control samples. Finally, we performed immunohistochemistry on LN human renal tissue. Results: 10619 DEGs screened from the LN biopsy tissue were identified. 22 hub-ferroptosis-related genes with LN (FRGs-LN) were screened out. The CIBERSORT findings revealed that there were significant statistical differences in immune cells between healthy control samples and LN tissues. Immunohistochemistry further demonstrated a significant difference in HRAS, TFRC, ATM, and SRC expression in renal tissue between normal and control groups. Conclusion: We developed a signature that allowed us to identify 22 new biomarkers associated with FRGs-LN. The objective of this study was to compare the clinical effectiveness of traditional vaginal surgery and transvaginal mesh (TVM) surgery on severe pelvic organ prolapse (POP). We performed a retrospective chart review study of 258 severe POP patients who underwent surgery between November 2010 and September 2016. One hundred forty patients underwent traditional vaginal surgery and 118 TVM surgery. The Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantitation (POP-Q) staging was used for objective evaluation. The Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory-20 (PFDI-20), Pelvic Floor Disease Life Impact Questionnaire Simplified Version-7 (PFIQ-7), and Pelvic Organ Prolapse/Incontinence Sexual Function Questionnaire (PISQ-12) were used for subjective evaluation. Their complications were also recorded. All the data were collected in the outpatient department through the follow-up at 3 months, 1, 3, and 5 years after the operation. Forty patients in the traditional vaginal surgery group and 25 in the TVM group were lost to follow-up. There was no difference in the POP-Q score between the groups (P = 0.346). The recurrence rate increased with follow-up time, reaching nearly 20% in the two groups by 5 years. The TVM group has higher PFDI-20 and PFIQ-7 scores and lower PISQ-12 scores than the traditional vaginal surgery group at six months, 1, 3, and 5 years, respectively (P < 0.001). Mesh exposure has occurred in the TVM group. Both surgeries showed similar objective satisfaction and recurrence rate. However, traditional vaginal surgery has higher subjective satisfaction than TVM in our study and does not risk exposure to prosthetic material.

Objective To explore effects of Dihydromyricetin (DHM) on experimental colitis and regulatory B cells(Breg) of mice. Methods The mice were randomly divided into control group, DSS group, DSS+DHM group and DSS+ mesalazine group (4% DSS for 7 days). After 7 days, the mice were respectively gavaged with water (0.2 mL/d),DHM (40 mg/kg·d) and mesalazine (520 mg/kg·d) for 7 consecutive days and the disease activity index (DAI) was continuously recorded. The animals were sacrificed on the 14th day and the colon length was measured. The colon tissue sections were microscopied with HE staining. CD19+B lymphocytes and Breg(CD19+CD5+CD1d+) were determined by flow cytometry in splenic single cell suspension; real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) was used to detect the relative mRNA level of IL-10,TGF-β,IL-6 and IFN-γin spleen cells. The effect of DHM on the proliferation of spleen cells was measured by CCK8. DHM (40 μmol/L) was selected to act on the spleen cell suspension for 24 h. flow cytometry was used to detect the ratio of Breg (CD19+CD5+CD1d+). Results Compared with the normal group, DAI and pathological score of DSS group were significantly higher, and the colon length was significantly decreased(P＜0.05); The proportion of CD19+ B cells vs. Breg (CD19+CD5+CD1d+) was significantly decreased, the inflammatory factors were significantly increased, and the anti-inflammatory factors were obviously decreased (P＜0.05). Compared with DSS group, DSS+DHM group and DSS+Mesalazine group significantly reversed the situation (P＜0.05); It was fond in vitro experiment that DHM significantly promoted the proliferation of spleen cells and Breg (P＜0.05). Conclusions DDHM has obvious therapeutic effect in experimental colitis mice, which may be related to the promotion of Breg proliferation and of secretion of anti-inflammatory factors IL-10 and TGF-β.

Bilayer graphene (BLG) grown via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) tends to exhibit twisted stacking. The twist angle θ t in twisted BLG (tBLG) provides a new degree of freedom for engineering its electronic and optical properties. In this paper, we investigate the θ t-dependent optical absorption in tBLG and deeply understand the electronic structure-optical properties correlations. New absorption peaks, whose wavelengths are modified by θ t, are observed on the feature of optical contrast (OC) in tBLG. Under the corresponding energy excitation, the Raman G mode in tBLG exhibits a significant enhancement. Furthermore, the results of θ t obtained by OC absorption peak are verified to be consistent with those by the Raman R mode. All these properties are proved to be related to the energy difference between low-energy Van Hove singularities (E VHS) in the density of states of tBLGs. This work builds a relation between optical absorption and twist angle, providing a viable method to identifying twist angles in tBLGs.

Three new lanostane triterpenoids (1-3) along with two new amides fatty compounds (4-5) were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of a culture of the endophytic fungus Alternaria sp. gx-2. Their structures were identified by 1D and 2D NMR spectral data and HRESIMS. Compounds 1-12 were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory and tyrosinase inhibition activities. The isolated compounds did not show inhibitory activities at a concentration of 100 μM against tyrosinase, while under the concentration of 10 μM, the release of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) inhibition rate of compound 1 was 54.45%, indicating that compound 1 had moderate anti-inflammatory activity on the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome. The broadband agile frequency technology is used in pulse-to-pulse random frequency agility pulse Doppler fuze to make tracking or copying fuze signal with difficulty for jammer. It can resolve target detection problem of radio fuze that is in the environment of deceptive jamming based on DRFM, and can reduce the influence of suppression jamming to fuze. This paper introduces the working principle and the composition of the pulse-to-pulse random frequency agility pulse Doppler fuze, then makes the simulation analysis for anti-jamming performance of the fuze, and analyzes and optimizes the effect of pulse-to-pulse random frequency agility on target detection. The simulation results show that the fuze based on pulse-to-pulse random frequency agility technology has good anti-jamming performance.

Alzheimer's disease is the most common dementia in the aged population and is characterizd by hidden attack and progressive development. Some studies showed that exosomal microRNAs(miRNAs) regulates the shearing of amyloid precusor protein,deposition of beta-amyloid peptides(Aβ) and phosphorylation of Tau protein, influencing the generation of neuritic plaques and neurofibrillary tangles. In addition, special miRNAs can be transpor-ted by exsome across blood-brain-barrier and inhibit Tau phosphorylation. Measuring the expression profile of exosomal miRNAs in the peripheral blood may be a non-invasive diagnosis and treatment method of AD.

Abnormal expression of GDNF (glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor) and its receptor(RET) are associated with the emergence and development of tumors in the digestive system. GDNF and RET are associated with peripheral nerve invasion with a dose-dependent manner in pancreatic cancer, while RET(-) cancer cells lose the ability to invade and destroy nerves. RET mutations promote the proliferation, migration and survival of colon cancer cells, and are associated with poor prognosis of colon cancer patients. GDNF can promote the angiogenesis of liver cancer tissues independently of vasogenic growth factor, providing sufficient nutrition for the growth and invasion of tumor cells. Methylation of the GFR 3 promoter was found in gastric cancer, and the degree of methylation was negatively related to postoperative survival of patients.
