An iterative learning control based on Automatic Train Operation is proposed for repetitively running train to deal with trajectory tracking problem under iteration-varying operation condition and certain speed constrains. Iteration-varying operation condition considered in this paper focuses on the air resistance coefficient of the train, which may be completely different at any two consecutive operation processes due to different weather conditions. To eliminate the influence of the resistance coefficient caused by the different weather conditions, data measured by the temperature sensors is used. In order to meet the speed constrains, the Barrier Composite Energy Function scheme is used to guarantee that the speed constraints are not violated. Wen-23 gas pool has thick caprock and small burial depth, and has favorable conditions for building gas storage. However, this block already has Well 23-6X, which has been abandoned, but it affects the sealing of the gas pool because it penetrates the caprock. Therefore, successful plugging of this well is a key to building the gas storage. In 2010, six holes were drilled in the upper formation of Wen 23-6X in four months, but they all failed in locating the fish head. In 2013, the distance correction technology with magnetic measurement was first introduced from British Scientific Drilling Company and tried to drill parallel relief well Wen 23-6J and to connect with Wen 23-6X from below the fish bottom. For nearly six and half months, five holes were drilled in the lower formation, tagged fish bottom twice, crossed with the old hole three times, located the azimuth and complex perforation and cement squeezing were conducted in the fifth hole. Negative pressure test showed that the Wen 23-6X was successfully plugged and met the requirement for gas storage building in Wen 23 gas pool. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE) is a common manifestation of sepsis, ranging from mild confusion and delirium to severe cognitive impairment and deep coma. SAE is associated with higher mortality and long-term outcomes, particularly substantial declines in cognitive function. The mechanisms of SAE probably include neuroinflammation that is mediated by systemic inflammation and ischemic lesions in the brain, a disrupted blood-brain barrier, oxidative stress, neurotransmitter dysfunction, and severe microglial activation. Increasing evidence suggests that complementary and alternative medicine, especially Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is favorable in alleviating cognitive decline after sepsis. Here, we summarized the studies of traditional herbal remedies, TCM formulas and acupuncture therapy in animal models of neurological dysfunctions after sepsis in recent decades and reviewed their potential mechanisms.

Background: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remains a challenging malignancy with poor prognosis and limited therapeutic methods. However, recent clinical trials of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have shown promising results in the treatment of lethal malignancies. The second-line treatment of late-stage ESCC was approved based on the results of KEYNOTE-180, KEYNOTE-181 and ATTRACTION-1, ATTRACTION-3. Combining ICIs with chemotherapy in neoadjuvant therapy may benefit patients with locally advanced, resectable ESCC., Methods: A two-arm phase II trial was launched in July 2019 in Henan Cancer Hospital. The primary outcome measure will be completed within 21 months. The pathological complete response (pCR) rate is the primary endpoint, and the secondary endpoints include overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS), the toxicities of the neoadjuvant toripalimab plus chemotherapy, the relationship between combined positivity score (CPS) of specimen and the treatment response, the relationship between lymphocyte infiltration and the treatment response, the progression-free survival (PFS) rate, and adverse events (AEs). It was assumed that the pCR rate of this trial might be 25%. Ten sediments were collected from the northern part of Taihu Lake, China. They were incubated for 24 h and 80 days to analyze the adsorption characteristics. After adsorption, the residual sediments were extracted with 0.01 M CaCl 2 and 0.5 M NaHCO 3 separately. Maximum buffer capacities of the Langmuir and Freundlich functions of 80-day incubation were highly correlated with 24 h (R 2  = 0.97). A longer time would enhance the resistance of the sediments to P changes in the water. Adsorption and NaHCO 3 -P were highly linearly related with R 2  > 0.969, but the relationships between 24 h and 80 days were different. The relationships between adsorption and CaCl 2 -P could be better explained (97 %) by segmented line models, but the fitting results were affected by incubation time. An interesting finding is that when we plotted the NaHCO 3 -P and CaCl 2 -P together by a segmented line model, the data showed a uniform trend unrelated to the incubation time. NaHCO 3 -P is seldom used to evaluate P status in sediments in comparison with soils. Yet, our results suggested NaHCO 3 -P is a good bridge to link the sediments P retention ability and P release risk. Due to its simplicity, NaHCO 3 -P has promising potential in predicting the transfer of P from sediments.
