Timely and accurate diagnosis is important for the management of PJI. Currently, many biomarkers are available for the diagnosis of PJI, but which inflammatory biomarker combination has the best diagnostic value has not been reported.Materials and Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 244 patients who underwent revision knee or hip arthroplasty in our institution. They were divided into two groups: 87 in the PJI group and 157 in the aseptic failure (AF) group. Abstract

With the advent of digital technology and social media, mobile phone companies are increasingly turning to emotional marketing to appeal to consumers' inner preferences. The purpose of this study is to examine the economic consequences of emotional marketing on customer loyalty, while taking into account the mediating variables of brand identity and brand trust. By surveying 647 digitally-savvy consumers in China, the proposed model was empirically validated. The results suggest that emotional marketing plays a crucial role in fostering consumer loyalty towards mobile phone brands, and that brand identity and brand trust play sequential mediating roles in the impact of emotional marketing on consumer loyalty. This research enhances our understanding of emotional marketing and consumer loyalty, and offers valuable insights for mobile phone brands seeking to implement effective emotional marketing strategies. In the present study, we aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of traditional inflammatory biomarkers, fibrinolytic biomarkers (fibrinogen and D-dimer), and C-reactive protein (CRP)/albumin for PJI in different genders.Methods: A single-center retrospective analysis was performed on revision total hip or knee arthroplasty between June 2013 to June 2021, and the study included 80 patients in the PJI group and 136 patients in the non-PJI group. PJI was diagnosed based on the International Consensus Meeting (ICM) in 2018. The levels of CRP, fibrinogen, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), D-dimer, and albumin count were determined. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves and Youden’s index were used to evaluate the diagnostic ability of various biomarkers.Results: The levels of CRP, fibrinogen, D-dimer, ESR, and CRP/albumin were significantly higher in the PJI group (P < 0.001). In PJI of females, the predictive value of CRP was the highest among the five biomarkers, with the area under the curve (AUC) of 0.98. The optimal predictive cut-off for CRP was 8.86 mg/L, with a sensitivity and specificity of 90.2% and 95.7%, respectively. 84. The Modeling Study about Impacts of Emission Control Policies for Chinese 14th Five-Year Plan on PM_(2.5) and O₃ in Yangtze River Delta, China

Abstract

The Chinese government has made great efforts to combat air pollution through the reductions in SO₂, NOₓ and VOCs emissions, as part of its socioeconomic Five-Year Plans (FYPs). China aims to further reduce the emissions of VOCs and NOₓ by 10% in its upcoming 14th FYP (2021–2025). Here, we used a regional chemical transport model (e.g., WRF/CMAQ) to examine the responses of PM_(2.5) and O₃ to emission control policies of the 14th FYP in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region. The simulation results under the 4 emission control scenarios in the 2 winter months in 2025 indicate that the average concentrations of city mean PM_(2.5) in 41 cities in the YRD were predicted to only decrease by 10% under both S1 and S1_E scenarios, whereas the enhanced emission control scenarios (i.e., S2_E and S3_E) could reduce PM_(2.5) in each city by more than 20%. The model simulation results for O₃ in the 3 summer months in 2025 show that the O₃ responses to the emission controls under the S1 and S1_E scenarios show different control effects on O₃ concentrations in the YRD with the increase and decrease effects, respectively. The study found that both enhanced emission control scenarios (S2_E and S3_E) could decrease O₃ in each city by more than 20% with more reductions in O₃ under the S3_E emission control scenario because of its higher control strengths for both NOx and VOCs emissions. It was found that emission reduction policies for controlling high emission sectors of NOₓ and VOCs such as S2_E and S3_E were more effective for decreasing both PM_(2.5) and O₃ in the YRD. This study shows that O₃ controls will benefit from well-designed air pollution control strategies for reasonable control ratios of NOₓ and VOCs emissions.

Abstract

The accurate recognition of the shearer cutting pattern is the focus in fully mechanized coal mining. Hence, a new cutting pattern recognition model based on the combination of Relevance Vector Machine (RVM) and Chaotic Gravitational Search Algorithm (CGSA) is proposed. Initially, the motor operation data, including voltage, current and motor speed, are collected as the detection signal and the RVM classifier based on Bayesian framework is chosen for pattern recognition. In order to optimize the parameters in RVM, which has a great influence on the performance of RVM, the optimization algorithm Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA) is introduced. Finally, the basic GSA is modified into CGSA with the chaotic mapping for increasing the search diversity of the algorithm. The experimental study demonstrates the advantageous performance of the proposed model even without any feature extraction operations.
