Abstract

Based on the climatic conditions in the northwest and the widely used water storage method in the northwest rural areas, we designed a rain and snow collection device, which is realized by an inductor and an “M” collection curtain, which uses the rotation of the motor and the supply of the heating film. Water purification and storage can be obtained through compound grit tanks, biochar adsorption systems, etc. The collected water resources can be integrated with water purification and storage through flood control and antifreeze devices. Real-time senses the changes of water level and water temperature. In this article, a calculation model for the optimal sedimentation effect is also established, which can calculate the minimum scale parameters of the sedimentation tank under different weather conditions, and provide guidance for the construction of the system. In addition, we tested the actual collection capacity of the system, and the results showed that the system has high practical value. At present, there is no a complete and systematic study integrated with it in the Northwest region. This system can alleviate the lack of water resources in some areas to a certain extent, play a positive role in the rural ecological environment and lessen flood

65. Effects of arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction combined with sodium hyaluronate on inflammatory factors in anterior cruciate ligament injury patients with or without knee osteoarthritis

Abstract

Anterior cruciate ligament injury (ACLI) is a common sports injury of the knee joint, and ACLI patients often develop early knee osteoarthritis (KOA) after surgery. This may be due to the activation of a post-surgical inflammatory response.To investigate the treatment efficacy of arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (AACLR) combined with sodium hyaluronate (SH) in ACLI patients with and without KOA.This prospective cohort study included 226 ACLI patients with or without KOA who were admitted between July 2015 and December 2018 into The Second Xiangya Hospital, Changsha, China. All patients received AACLR surgery combined with 50 mg SH. Serum levels of inflammatory markers were evaluated with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and knees were assessed using the Lysholm Knee Score and the International Knee Documentation Committee Knee Evaluation Form (IKDC). The range of motion of the knee joint was also measured.The mean disease course was 73.39 ±30.90 months for ACLI patients with KOA, which was significantly longer than for those without KOA (3.74 ±1.70 months). Also, surgery duration was remarkably longer for patients with KOA than it was for those without this disease. The Lysholm Knee Score and IKDC score, as well as the range of knee joint motion were significantly improved in all patients after treatment compared to baseline. However, no significant differences were found between the groups. One day, 3 days and 7 days after surgery, significantly higher inflammatory marker levels were found in the patients with KOA than in those without KOA.The AACLR combined with SH was efficacious as it improved knee function and inflammation in all patients, while patients without KOA exhibited a more rapid recovery from the post-surgical inflammatory response.

79. MoS2/Au/Ag Nanostructures for Ratiometric Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering Determination of Pesticide Residues.

Abstract

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is a promising method for rapid and sensitive detection of pesticide residues. Herein, a three-dimensional MoS2/Au/Ag nanostructure was developed by employing composite systems containing semiconductors, noble metal nanoparticles, and internal standard. The MoS2 nanoflowers provide abundant anchors for the loading of plasmonic nanoparticles so as to generate intense electromagnetic "hot spots," and the Au-MBN/Ag nanostructures can increase the accuracy of SERS detection with the calibration ability of the internal standard molecules (4-mercaptobenzonitrile, 4-MBN). Therefore, the MoS2/Au/Ag nanostructures integrate the advantages of high-enhancement SERS substrates and high-accuracy ratiometric Raman detection. Moreover, the nanostructures were fabricated via a facile procedure and showed high sensitivity, accuracy, and reproducibility in SERS detection. The nanostructures also showed good linear fitting between the ratios of Raman intensity and logarithmic concentrations of analytes in ratiometric SERS analysis. In addition, thiabendazole (TBZ) in apple juice was successfully detected by using the as-prepared SERS substrates with a limit of detection down to 0.1 ppm in practical applications. To conclude, the MoS2/Au/Ag nanostructures showed excellent SERS activity in ratiometric analysis and the substrate is expected to have great potential for the quantitative detection of low-concentration pesticide residues.
