With the escalating global antimicrobial resistance crisis, there is an urgent need for innovative strategies against drug-resistant microbes. Accumulating evidence indicates microbial extracellular vesicles (EVs) contribute to antimicrobial resistance. Therefore, comprehensively elucidating the roles and mechanisms of microbial EVs in conferring resistance could provide new perspectives and avenues for novel antimicrobial approaches. In this review, we systematically examine current research on antimicrobial resistance involving bacterial, fungal, and parasitic EVs, delineating the mechanisms whereby microbial EVs promote resistance. In this paper, the nonlinear response characteristics of a single degree of freedom lumped mass model with a new support looseness fault are analyzed. In this model, a new nonlinear contact stiffness model between the support and foundation is considered, which considers the elastic–plastic deformation of the contact parts. The nonlinear response of the system is obtained by numerical integration methods. The nonlinear results are compared with an asymmetric model and a piece-wise contact model. By comparing three different looseness fault models, the mechanism of generating multi-frequencies and fractional frequencies is analyzed. The result shows that plastic deformation makes the displacement amplitude increase rapidly; odd harmonics appear in symmetric stiffness model due to the modulation of symmetric shock forces; however, harmonic response appears in asymmetric stiffness model; when the contact number is odd, the frequency components contain odd or even order fractional frequencies at supercritical speeds due to the incompatibility of contacts on the upper and lower surfaces; when the contact number is even, multiple frequency components appear at subcritical frequencies.

Hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae (hvKP) has emerged as a novel variant of K. pneumoniae, exhibiting distinct phenotypic and genotypic characteristics that confer increased virulence and pathogenicity. It is not only responsible for nosocomial infections but also community-acquired infections, including liver abscesses, endophthalmitis, and meningitis, leading to significant morbidity and mortality. HvKP has been reported all over the world, but it is mainly prevalent in Asia Pacific, especially China. Moreover, hvKP can acquire carbapenemase genes resulting in the emergence of carbapenem-resistant hypervirulent K. pneumoniae (CR-hvKP), which possesses both high virulence and drug resistance capabilities. Consequently, CR-hvKP poses substantial challenges to infection control and presents serious threats to global public health. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive summary of the epidemiological characteristics, virulence factors, and mechanisms underlying carbapenem resistance in hvKP strains with the aim of offering valuable insights for practical prevention strategies as well as future research. Improving the lubricating properties of base oils through additives is a crucial objective of tribological research, as it helps to reduce friction and wear of materials. Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is a 2D nanomaterial with excellent tribological properties that is often used as a lubricant additive. Several studies have been conducted on the preparation and utilization of MoS2 and its nanocomposites as lubricant additives. This paper reviews the research progress on MoS2 nanomaterials as lubricant additives. It firstly introduces various synthesis methods of MoS2 nanomaterials while focusing on the preparation of nano-MoS2 as lubricant additives. It then summarizes the dispersion stability of nano-MoS2 in lubricating oils which has been paid extensive attention. Moreover, this paper reviews and discusses the tribological properties of nano-MoS2 and its various composites as lubricant additives. The possible anti-wear and friction reduction mechanisms of nano-MoS2 and its composites are also discussed. Finally, this paper presents the challenges faced by nano-MoS2 additives in the field of lubrication and the prospects for future research in view of previous studies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Because the motor and reducer of the conventional tandem welding robot are installed at the revolute joint, the robot has large rotational inertia and long residual vibration time. However, due to the limitation of workspace and other reasons, the current parallel robot is not suitable for all series welding robots. Therefore, based on the concept of "multi-degree-of-freedom controllable mechanism", a new controllable mechanism welding robot is proposed in this paper. The driving motor and reducer, which have great influence on the main and branch chain of the welding robot, are installed on the frame. The advantage of this design is that the inertia of the robot mechanism is significantly reduced, and its dynamic performance is improved. The position errors of the end members of the welding robot moving along the circle, as well as the angle errors of each joints under the circle movements are analysed.
