For high-proportional wind power access to power grids, how to coordinate the energy storage switching strategies with other various power generation energy sources is the key to the effective utilization of energy storage and the improvement of wind power consumption. This paper proposed a safety barrier that power grid established through energy storage for eliminating wind power, studied evaluation and identification methods of energy storage input, and established the model of energy storage operation and the relationship between energy storage capacity and wind power consumption demand energy storage capacity and clean energy consumption demand. It also constructed a method for analyzing the correlation between electric heating thermal storage load and abandonment wind during heating period, and explored the qualitative relationship between abandoned wind power, abandoned wind hours and abandoned wind power. However, the energy storage capacity is configured according to the maximum abandonment power, and the energy storage efficiency is not high, and the wind power that is consumed by the electric heating thermal storage load is the abandoned wind power during the heating period.

Large-scale electric heating heat storage load is of great significance for eliminating wind and abandoning wind. However, power grid dispatching needs to coordinate these different types and different capacity loads so that it does not affect its own safe operation. The grid plays a bigger role. To this end, the large-scale electric heating heat storage load is divided into two categories: one is distributed small capacity; the other is centralized large capacity. The two load operation characteristics are modeled, and a coordinated operation strategy of two loads is proposed. The calculation of the actual data of a provincial power grid shows that the distributed has the characteristics of timing and fixed amplitude, and the centralized has the characteristics of dynamic adjustment. The distributed consumption is the low-level electricity, which can improve the ability to dissipate the wind and improve the peaking capacity of the power grid; most of the centralized consumption is the abandonment of wind power, but also can improve the dynamic peaking ability of the power grid.

Regarding the fact that the key characteristic variables of the coordinated operation of the cooling, heat, power, (natural) gas, and steam subsystems (CHPGSS) are not fully considered in the integrated energy system (IES), the day-ahead dynamic economic dispatch (DED) for IES considering these variables of CHPGSS is studied. In order to analyze the interactive influence of CHPGSS, a hybrid CHPGS energy flows model and calculation method are developed in this paper, coupling parts of CHPGSS are concerned with the core concept of energy hub (HB). Firstly, considering the well-known principle of "temperature matched and cascade utilization" based on the concept of thermal energy level, coupled modes of different energy qualities and energy levels are designed in HB. Secondly, based on HB, the model architecture of the energy station with CHPGSS is designed and the steady state operation model of CHPGSS is proposed, respectively. Then, based on time-of-use (TOU) power price power price mechanism, the influence of power storage, heat storage and cold storage on day-ahead DED of IES is analyzed. Finally, a 0-1 mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) for day-ahead DED is established under different load structures with CHPGSS. The numerical results verify the validity of DED calculation and steady state operation analysis for IES. The models and methods are suitable for day-ahead DED analysis of IES containing CHPGSS, which can reasonably reflect the operation characteristics of the IES.

Large-scale clean energy is merged into the power grid. For different grid-connected methods, the reasons for wind abandonment are different. In this paper, it studied peak-regulated wind abandonment and grid frame abandoned wind, and proposed the calculation model and discrimination method of the peak-regulated wind abandonment and grid frame abandonedwind; it also proposed the correlation analysis method of power grid wind abandonment, peak-regulated wind abandonment and grid frame abandoned wind. Combined with the example, the paper analyzedthe relationship between power grid wind abandonment, peak-regulated wind abandonment and grid frame abandoned wind. For the northern heating season, the peak-regulated wind power abandonment is larger. In the non-heating season, the grid frame abandoned wind power is larger, and when the peak-regulated wind power abandonment is larger, the grid frame abandoned wind power is smaller, and the duration of the peak-regulated wind abandonment is smaller than the duration of the grid frame abandoned wind. Because a large number of measures to consumption wind are mainly aimed at peak-regulated wind abandonment, the proportion of grid frame abandoned wind has exceeded 1/3 of the total abandoned wind. It can be seen that the research on abandoning wind should be carried out from the two dimensions of peak-regulated wind abandonment and grid frame abandoned wind.

Aiming at the randomness and volatility of the abandoned wind with high proportion wind power connected to the large power grid, this paper proposed a the entire processes accurate evaluation analysis method with multi-dimensional, multi-period and multi-type, constructed a multi-dimensional analysis system such as electricity, hours, abandonment rate and abandonment ratio, and constructed a multi-period analysis system such as the annual, heating season, monthly and hourly electricity distribution and the corresponding low valley period, it also constructed a multi-type analysis system such as peak shaving abandoned wind and grid structure abandoned wind, which provides a theoretical basis for implementing large-scale abandoned wind consumption. Combined with the actual examples, the abandoned wind analysis system established in this paper has practical significance for mastering the law of abandoning wind and selecting appropriate measures for abandoning wind consumption.

With the flexibility modification of thermal power plant, the minimum technical output of units has been reduced. Different kinds of operating modes can be chosen by operators of power grids, which will influence the frequency regulation of power grids. The mathematical model of reheater steam turbine and load frequency control (LFC) are established considering flexibility modification of thermal power plants. Two scenarios are created and simulations are carried out. The results indicate that with the increase of units investigated in power system, the frequency deviation decrease obviously in both a stand-alone control area and two interconnected control areas. The conclusions presented here provide some guidance on operation of thermal power plants in regions to reduce the amplitude of frequency oscillation.

Large-scale deep variable load of thermal power units will increase the hidden trouble of auxiliary equipment failure. Timely detection of minor faults and early warning are conducive to the safe operation of units. With the large-scale deep variable load of units, the operating conditions of auxiliary equipment also change in a large range, and the operating parameters fluctuate in a large range, which directly affects the accuracy of fault early warning algorithm based on operation data. In order to solve this problem, this paper uses a multivariate state estimation technique (MSET) algorithm for fault early warning. Firstly, the cluster method is used to divide the operating conditions of units, and process memory matrix is constructed under different operating conditions for modeling and calculation. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional method using one process memory matrix this method significantly improves the accuracy of fault early warning.

Large data mining is very important in the application of power system since the data of power system is rather redundant. In this paper, an evaluation method of power system transmission line parameters based on the micro-meteorological environment is proposed. Cloud computing processing technology is utilized for constructing the online dynamic parameter evaluation system, so that the real-time data collected by power system measurement devices and the environment data of the micro-meteorological monitoring system can be identified, evaluated and corrected. This system is calculated theoretically and verified on real web, the results show that the micro-meteorological parameter evaluation system can evaluate the mutation parameters of transmission lines in real time and provide a new opportunity for the security analysis and stability control of large power systems.

The high penetration of renewable energy in power systems significantly increases the difficulty of system modelling. Adequate attention should be paid to the impact of the correlation between renewable energy sources and voltage stability. In this paper, a global sensitivity analysis method is proposed to analyse the sensitivity of correlated renewable energy generation to voltage stability. The established model fully considers the uncertainty of wind speed and solar irradiance. Moreover, the simplified local voltage stability index is used to evaluate voltage stability. The global sensitivity analysis method is used to identify the sensitivity of random factors. In addition, the Monte Carlo method is proposed to calculate Pearson correlation coefficients in different distribution spaces. The Nataf inverse transform is used to sample correlated renewable energy. Finally, the global sensitivity index of renewable energy generations is obtained. Numerical results on the modified IEEE 30-bus system and modified IEEE 118-bus system show that with the enhancement of correlation between renewable energy sources, the sensitivity of renewable energy generations to voltage stability is also increasing.

Aiming at the problem of optimal distribution of dust removal, desulfurization and denitrification load in thermal power plants, considering the cost of environmental protection, from the perspective of improving the comprehensive economic benefits of the whole plant, the relationship between coal consumption and power generation of the unit is described by using quadratic polynomial. Based on this model, it can be obtained. The unit corresponds to the fuel cost of different power. Considering the cost of environmental protection, the cubic polynomial is used to model the relationship between the pollutant concentration of the unit and the power generation of the unit. The total cost of peak shaving of the unit is calculated by the unit price of pollutant emissions in different periods. In addition, considering the efficiency of desulfurization and denitrification when the unit is operated under low load conditions, the concentration of pollutants in the exhaust gas is increased, which causes additional environmental costs of government fines, and a model of additional cost is proposed. Based on the actual operating data of the unit, a model for optimal comprehensive economic benefit was established and the constraints were established. And verify the correctness of the model.

In the case of deep peak shaving of thermal power units, it can absorb more photovoltaics and wind power, and also reduce the efficiency of thermal power plants and increase the environmental cost of society. This paper analyses the thermal power units under unconventional conditions from several influencing factors. The economics of operation, and innovative consideration of the current on-grid price and the latest government peaking subsidy factor. Firstly, according to the operating state and energy consumption characteristics of thermal power units, the peaking process is divided into conventional peaking, no oil depth adjustment and oil injection depth peaking, and the main factors affecting the deep peaking capacity of thermal power plants are analysed. The peaking energy cost model of thermal power units at different stages, and the actual power plant as the research object, the simulation results under different scheduling strategies are given. The results show that it is the most economical to increase the peaking depth of the unit to 54% of the rated capacity. The research results will provide a reference for better consumption of new energy.

Aiming at the influence of the access of high-proportion clean energy into the power grid, a comprehensive regulation model for such multiple energy as hydropower, thermal power, time-shiftable load, battery energy storage, electric thermal storage and nuclear power as well as the tie line and frequency was proposed. Through combing the operational characteristics, the operation process of power grid was divided into normal regulation domain, abnormal regulation domain and emergency control domain, and the unconventional peak regulation of thermal power unit was classified into the abnormal regulation domain. The flexible adjustment precaution calculation and monitoring method for the power was established, which could provide the basis for the monitoring and control of the operation of power grid. The results show that the characteristics of each stage in the operation of power grid are different, and the required adjustment variables are also different. Similarly, the characteristics of each operation variable are different. Therefore, the division of three operational domains is in line with the actual operation of power grid.

On 1st December 2017, the world's largest 100MW/129MWh lithium battery storage power station from Tesla was put into operation in South Australia. Then on 14th December 2017 and 18th January 2018, Tesla storage battery participated in grid frequency recovery after Victorian Loy Yang power station unit tripping accident. Tesla was triggered 140ms after the accident, before injecting active power to the grid. As a result, grid frequency was back to 50Hz with the help of Tesla and other contracted coal-fired generators within 6 minutes. Up to now, Tesla power station has provided auxiliary services such as regular adjustment and output, energy output and emergency output to the power grid. This paper first analyzes the physical and economic reasons why Tesla storage battery is integrated into Australia power grid. Then the structure and control strategy of battery is introduced. The operation of energy storage is introduced from both physical and economic dimensions. Later on, energy storage grid related technical standards and evaluation hierarchy are suggested to be made. New type of ancillary service is developed and storage’ s profit making mode is explored. All above proposals are lessons that China should learn to develop its storage technologies and storage-grid integration technologies.

With the rapid development of wind power, the randomness and intermittent nature of its output have led to an increase in the regulation pressure of conventional power supplies. The traditional dispatching and operating modes have been unable to meet the demand for large-scale wind power transmission. In this paper, the high energy load with adjustable characteristics is taken as an important means to consume wind power, and a mathematical model for response control of high energy load is established. On this basis, the load-coordinating control power optimization model of the Japanese time scale is studied, and the Japanese-level time-scale source coordination control strategy based on increasing the power consumption of wind power is formed in combination with the Japanese source-time coordinated control mode of the load source. The simulation of Hexi Power Grid in Gansu province is given as an example to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed coordinated control strategy based on improving wind power consumption.

With the rapid development of the economy and the depletion of conventional energy sources, it is imperative to vigorously develop new energy sources. The new energy power generation industry, represented by wind power and photovoltaic power generation, has gradually become industrialized and scaled up. Its grid-connected operation effectively relieves the load pressure that the grid is subjected to. However, the output of new energy sources is random and uncontrollable. After grid connection, it will increase the uncertainty of the system and affect the stable operation of the system. Therefore, how to safely and effectively absorb intermittent renewable energy has become a major practical problem facing the new energy power system. Current research results at home and abroad mainly focus on the optimal design of the power supply on the supply side, the optimal dispatch strategy on the grid side, and the demand side. Response mechanism and planning management. Studies involving the stability and economics of power system operation and the joint planning of source and load resources are still in the preliminary stage. Therefore, the establishment of a new energy power system energy balance, economy and the joint planning model of the source and the load provide a theory for the country to promote supply-side structural reforms, formulate phased energy-saving emission reduction targets, renewable energy power supply construction standards and electricity price subsidies and other related policies.

With the transformation and development of global energy, China is also gradually establishing a clean, low-carbon and high-efficiency new energy system, and continuously increasing the installed capacity of renewable energy power generation, mainly focusing on the stable operation and market elimination after the grid has been connected to new energy generation. The phenomenon of severely abandoned wind caused by insufficient light was abandoned. This paper establishes an evaluation index system for the generation side and grid side, and establishes a cost-effective model for each participant individually. The cost-benefit analysis method was used to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategies proposed to promote the absorption of renewable energy. Finally, examples are used to verify the role of these strategies in promoting renewable energy consumption, reducing system peak-to-valley differences, and improving the safe and stable operation of the power grid.

In recent years, renewable energy such as wind power has developed rapidly, but due to the limited capacity of the local power grids to accept wind power, there have been wind farms of different sizes in the areas where wind power has been enriched during the winter heating season. Of the factors affecting the ability of the grid to accept wind power, peak-shaving capacity is one of the most important constraints, and it is also a major problem faced by large-scale wind power system dispatching operations. Due to the natural conditions of wind distribution in various regions of China, the area built by wind turbines is relatively concentrated and the power transmission capacity of the grid is subject to new challenges. Under the current policy of fully purchasing renewable energy and energy-saving power generation dispatching policies, what kind of economic incentives are adopted to promote large-scale wind power consumption; what kind of dispatching model can guarantee the safe and efficient operation of wind power-containing power systems, and improve the acceptance of wind power Capacity; There are few studies on the impact of energy storage systems under different dispatch modes on system economics and wind power acceptance. In view of this, the dissertation investigates the problems caused by large-scale wind power grid connection and its feasible solutions, and proposes a corresponding dispatching model to promote large-scale wind power consumption from the perspective of joint operation of wind and storage to promote the localization of wind power. The impact of different operating modes and capacities of the energy storage system on the wind power acceptance capacity of the grid was analyzed.

With the development of economy, large-scale access of wind power generation and other non-schedulable resources, and the difference in load peaks and valleys in the power grid have also increased year by year, making the peaking pressure of power grids with thermal power generators as the peak-shaving subject even more severe. This paper studies the operating characteristics of nuclear power units and establishes a multi-source coordinated planning model for pumped-storage-nuclear-wind power-thermal power projects. The optimization goal is to minimize the overall cost of equal annual values, and to use nuclear power's safety-adjustable domains and operations as constraints. The example shows that the model built in this paper improves the capacity of system wind power absorption, and effectively relieves the peak pressure of conventional units, and improves the economic efficiency of power system operation.

Because of the intermittent, volatile and random nature of most clean energy sources, it is difficult to control and is not easy to use. In the field of new energy power generation, the large-scale network access of energy power will not only increase the impact on the operation of the power grid, but also have a great impact on the existing power grid operation and management modes. With the increase of installed capacity such as wind power and photovoltaic power, the impact of volatility and randomness on the grid has also become apparent. In this paper, a large-scale dispatching solution is proposed to address the reality of large-scale clean energy generation in the power grid, and the impact of renewable energy generation uncertainty on the power grid is addressed.

With the coming of the era of big data, traditional entity recognition technologies have been unable to effectively finish data preprocessing due to large scale of power grid data and complex volume type features. The rising of Hadoop technologies in these years can deal with big data processings better. Therefore, this paper proposes a power big data entity recognition algorithm based on Hadoop. It applies the discretization algorithm to select higher information accuracy discrete points and put forward a discretization evaluation indicator. In the end, we finish entity recognition of the monitoring data of wind turbines on Hadoop platform.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm performs well in terms of correctness and breakpoint number experiments and it has a good speed-up ratio. The proposed algorithm can apply to power large data entity recognition processing.

The Power Line Carrier (PLC) communication makes full use of the power line which has already been laid as the transmission medium, and does not require earthwork construction and communication line laying, which can achieve rapid construction. While, the wireless communication technology provides a good solution to solve the problems of high cost, poor flexibility and difficult installation and maintenance of wired communication technology. In this paper, based on the combination of medium voltage power line broadband carrier communication technology and Low-Power Wide Area Network(LP-WAN), proposes a communication technology of remote power monitoring system combined with wired and wireless, which can achieve real-time communication of power system with low cost and long distance.

With the rapid development of intelligent distribution network technology, “Optical fiber backbone network + low-power wireless communication network” becomes the most reasonable scheme for power system data acquisition. Optical fiber network access port, called “ONU” port, has been set up in the fiber backbone network at different geographical locations. In this situation, interfaces require numerous power parameters to be collected, and the ports around each “ONU” are also different. It leads to the problem that the collected data is not unified, which put forward higher requirements to the transmission method of urban electric power parameter. In this paper, there is a data transmission method based on the monitoring system combined with fiber and wireless communication network in the urban area, which can effectively solve this problem.
