Abstract The new energy industry is strongly supported by the state, and accurate forecasting of stock price can lead to better understanding of its development. However, factors such as cost and ease of use of new energy, as well as economic situation and policy environment, have led to continuous changes in its stock price and increased stock price volatility. By calculating the Lyapunov index and observing the Poincaré surface of the section, we find that the sample of the China Securities Index Green Power 50 Index has chaotic characteristics, and the data indicate strong volatility and uncertainty. This study proposes a new method of stock price index prediction, namely, EWT-S-ALOSVR. Empirical wavelet decomposition extracts features from multiple factors affecting stock prices to form multiple sub-columns with features, significantly reducing the complexity of the stock price series. Support vector regression is well suited for dealing with nonlinear stock price series, and the support vector machine model parameters are selected using random wandering and picking elites via Ant Lion Optimization, making stock price prediction more accurate.

Satellite optical communication networks have become a promising core network structure, surpassing 5G and 6G, and are expected to realize seamless connections between terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks. Constructing an optical satellite network that can achieve various link schemes and enable bidirectional communication with multiple optical satellites at a low cost (including low power consumption, low weight, and low space occupation for each satellite) poses a technical challenge. In this paper, we propose and establish a multi-format/rate-tunable integrated laser communications hardware platform that can switch between different links by controlling the modulation format and rate. The platform supports OOK, QPSK, and BPSK modulation with rates ranging from 0.625 to 10 Gbps. Experimental demonstration of bidirectional communication is conducted over a free-space optical link. At a distance of 510 meters, sensitivity tests are conducted for signals with various modulation formats and rates. The receiving sensitivity at the 3.8e-3 FEC threshold is −46 dBm for 10 Gbps PDM-QPSK signal, and is −58 dBm for 625 Mbps BPSK signal. Results show excellent signal sensitivity across different formats and rates. Additionally, the platform is capable of performing ranging while communicating with a minimal ranging error of 2.9% of the width of a code word.

Aim To explore the association between serum folate concentration and the prevalence of elderly diastolic hypertension. This study aims to identify potential relationships that could inform further research into the mechanisms underlying hypertension management.Methods Data from six NHANES cycles (2007–2008, 2009–2010, 2011–2012, 2013–2014, 2015–2016, and 2017–2018) were analysed for individuals aged over 60. Weighted logistic regression estimated odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Subgroup and restricted cubic spline (RCS) regression explored the serum folate concentration and elderly diastolic hypertension relationship.Results This study included 9,419 participants (4,734 females and 4,685 males) with a mean age of 70.0 ± 7.0 years. Among them, 360 were diagnosed with diastolic hypertension. In the fully adjusted model, there was a negative correlation between serum folate concentration and the prevalence of diastolic hypertension (OR 0.65; 95% CI: 0.52–0.82). When serum folate concentration levels were divided into quartiles (in μg/dL), the ORs for diastolic hypertension corresponding to Q2 (1.29–1.98), Q3 (1.99–3.08), and Q4 (3.09–5.56) levels compared to Q1 (0.18–1.28) were 1.41 (95% CI: 0.60–3.33), 0.48(95% CI: 0.20–1.16), and 0.35 (95% CI: 0.16–0.74), respectively, with a P for trend

Abstract Despite the worldwide distribution and rich diversity of the superfamily Tenebrionoidea, the knowledge of the mitochondrial genomes (mtgenome) characteristics of the superfamily is still very limited, and its phylogenetics and evolution remain unresolved. In the present study, we newly sequenced mtgenomes from 19 species belonging to Tenebrionoidea, and a total of 90 mitochondrial genomes from 16 families of Tenebrionoidea were used for phylogenetic analysis. There exist 37 genes for all 82 species of complete mtgenomes of 16 families investigated, and their characteristics are identical as reported mtgenomes of other Tenebrionoids. The Ka/Ks analysis suggests that all 13 PCGs have undergone a strong purifying selection. The phylogenetic analysis suggests the monophyly of Mordellidae, Meloidae, Oedemeridae, Pyrochroidae, Salpingidae, Scraptiidae, Lagriidae, and Tenebrionidae, and the Mordellidae is close to the Ripiphoridae. The “Tenebrionidae clade” and “Meloidae clade” are monophyletic, and both of them are sister groups. In the “Meloidae clade,” Meloidae is close to Anthicidae. In the “Tenebrionidae clade,” the family Lagriidae and Tenebrionidae are sister groups. The divergence time analysis suggests that Tenebrionoidea originated in the late Jurassic, Meloidae Mordellidae, Lagriidae, and Tenebrionidae in the Cretaceous, Oedemeridae in Paleogene. The work lays a base for the study of mtgenome, phylogenetics, and evolution of the superfamily Tenebrionoidea.

Background: The literature discussed colorectal surgery using a robotic platform, which is mainly the previous da Vinci Si system. The role of the da Vinci Xi surgical system remains unclear. This study aims to evaluate the benefits and feasibility of using the robot-assisted method in colorectal surgery. Methods: We retrospectively collected 418 patients undergoing minimally invasive colorectal surgery between March 2020 and December 2021, in a single center. Patients were divided into robotic and laparoscopic groups. Primary outcomes were conversion rates to open surgery, complications, and length of stay (LOS). Secondary outcomes were post-operation functional outcomes. Results: A total of 218 patients received colectomy, while 200 patients received rectum resection. No differences were found in the conversion rate in both groups. A lower complication rate (colectomy: 7.5% vs. 23.2%, p = 0.01, rectum resection: 14.1% vs. 28.7%, p = 0.038) and shorter LOS (5 vs. 8 days, p < 0.001) was found in the robotic group. The robotic approach was associated with good functional outcomes in tolerated solid food and the termination of urinary drainage. Conclusions: The new da Vinci Xi system is safe and feasible both for colonic and rectal surgery, with reduced complications. Shorter LOS and reliable short-term outcomes may reflect both better functional recovery and surgical quality when compared to laparoscopic surgery.

Making the university and its teachers and students alike as sustainable entrepreneurs are central endeavours in this age of sustainable development today. This paper presents an in-depth case study to examine the development of sustainable entrepreneurship of Tsinghua University of China at institutional and curricular levels. The paper first proposes an analytical model of the sustainable university as the alignment of six elements based on three interrelated propositions. The paper then applies the model to study Tsinghua's culture of sustainability and entrepreneurship and its strategies from green university to sustainable university. Next the paper discusses five cases courses in sustainability education from diverse disciplines with shared goal to foster sustainability competence as global competence and shared pedagogies for experiential learning. The paper concludes with theoretical discussions of institutional-level sustainable entrepreneurship and also practical discussions of shared characteristics and challenges of curricular-level sustainable entrepreneurship with special references of pedagogical and digital opportunities and challenges. The paper presents findings from a self-reflective practitioner-as-researcher action research jointly conducted by the instructors of case courses. The paper used a mixed-method approach with participatory observation, interview, focus-group, survey, and curricular development experiments.
