This paper provides a check list and a key of Chinese species of the genus Thaia Ghauri, One new species, T. anchora sp. nov., from southwestern China is added to the genus and a key to the species recorded from China is provided.

This review provides descriptions, illustrations, keys for identification, and summaries of distributions and host plants for all known species of the genera Erythroneura (54 species), Erasmoneura (12 species), Rossmoneura (3 species), and Hymetta (5 species). Erythroneura browni sp.n., E. ortha sp.n., E. carinata sp.n., E. glabra sp.n., E. bakeri sp.n., E. kerzhneri sp.n. from Central and Eastern USA, E. triapitsyni sp.n. from New Mexico, Erasmoneura margaritae sp.n. from Illinois, and E. emeljanovi sp.n. from South Carolina are described as new. The following new synonyms are recognized: Erythroneura prima Beamer equals E. maritima Hamilton syn. n.; E. diva McAtee equals E. tricincta var. complementa McAtee syn. n.; E. octonotata Walsh equals E. comes var. compta McAtee syn. n., E. cherokee Robinson syn. n., E. compta var. rufomaculata McAtee syn. n., and E. nigroscuta Johnson syn. n.; E. cymbium McAtee equals E. tricincta var. disjuncta McAtee syn. n.; E. calycula McAtee equals E. tricincta var. erasa McAtee syn. n. and E. tricincta var. noncincta Johnson syn. n.; E. ziczac Walsh equals E. ziczac var. walshi Beamer syn. n.; E. delicata McAtee equals E. comes var. accepta McAtee syn. n., E. scripta Robinson syn. n., and E. tudella Robinson syn. n.; E. rosa Robinson equals E. repetita McAtee, syn. n.; E. kerzhneri sp.n. equals E. vaga sensu Beamer, 1938 (not Johnson, 1934); Erasmoneura vulnerata Fitch equals E. gradata Robinson syn. n.; Erasmoneura fulmina McAtee equals E. bicolorata Beamer syn. n.; Erasmoneura nigra Gillette equals E. vulnerata var. decora McAtee syn. n.; Erasmoneura nigerrima McAtee equals E. atrata Johnson syn. n.; Hymetta balteata McAtee equals H. trifasciata var. albata McAtee syn. n. and H. balteata var. mediana Fairbairn syn. n.; H. anthisma McAtee equals H. distincta Fairbairn syn. n.; Erasmoneura atra Johnson, 1935 is restored and equal to E. nigerrima sensu Beamer, 1946 (not McAtee, 1920). Neotypes are designated for Erythroneura octonotata Walsh, E. tricincta Fitch, and Hymetta trifasciata Say.

A new species Erasmoneura tricuspidata sp.n. and a new morphological variant of Erythridula stolata McAtee are described from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

A new genus of tribe Erythroneurini from Thailand, Songana gen. nov., and a new species Songana muscula sp. n., is described and illustrated.

The leafhopper species Tautoneura polymitusa Oh & Jung, 2016 (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha: Cicadellidae: Typhlocybinae: Erythroneurini), described recently from Korea, is recorded from Hungary, representing the first known European occurrence of the species and also of the genus Tautoneura Anufriev, 1969. The species is illustrated, its diagnostic characters are discussed and compared with those of the closely related congeners. The occurrence of T. polymitusa in three isolated localities in Hungary and regular records in Budapest over a period of five years since 2012 indicate that stable populations exist in Hungary, the species is probably already established and it is locally abundant. It is apparently associated with elm trees (Ulmus spp.) and other members of the plant family Ulmaceae. Its further spread in Europe is expected.

The leafhopper genus Salka Dworakowska, 1972 belongs to the Typhlocybinae tribe Erythroneurini with Zygina nigricans Matsumura, 1932 as its type species. The known species of this genus are distributed in the Oriental and Palearctic regions. Recently, it was reviewed by Zhang et al. (2009), Ohara (2012) and Song & Li (2012). Seventy-eight species are known, including 36 species from China. In this present work, two new species from China are described and illustrated. All specimens examined are deposited to the collection of the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, China (GUGC).

A new genus of Erythroneurini from China and four new species, Irenaneura dorsispina, I. dworakowski, I. longiprocessa, I. bifurcata spp. nov. are described and illustrated, and a key for the identification of adult males is provided.

Eight new species of the erythroneurine genus Salka are described and illustrated from the Ryukyu Islands, southern Japan: S. denticulata sp. nov., S. circumflexa sp. nov., S. okinawana sp. nov., S. diversa sp. nov., S. dimorpha sp. nov., S. maesatoensis sp. nov., S. nusukuensis sp. nov. and S. trimaculata sp. nov.

The genus Arboridia Zachvatkin is reviewed, including two new species Arboridia cincta sp.nov. and Arboridia ochracea sp.nov., from Henan province, China. A detailed morphological description and illustrations of the two new species are provided. A key to all known species from China is given.

General characteristics of Coloana Dworakowska and a key to known species of the genus are provided. Six new species, Coloana accrescens, C. hainanensis, C. latiprocessa, C. orthoprocessa, C. recta and C. sinuata spp. nov. from China and Thailand are described and illustrated. C. cinerea Dworakowska is newly recorded from China.

General characteristics of Singapora Dworakowska and a key to known species of the genus are provided. Six new species, Singapora candela, S. excedens, S. falcata, S. longiantrosa, S. triacantha and S. yingjiangica spp. nov. are described and illustrated, with two new records, S. shivae Dworakowska from China and S. bannaensis Song & Li from Thailand.

Five new leafhopper species, Qadria bannaensis, Q. daliensis, Q. dongfanga, Q. guiyanga and Q. cucullata spp. nov. from Yunnan, Hainan and Guizhou Prov. of China are described and illustrated, and a key to all species of the genus Qadria is provided.

The genera Gredzinskiya Dworakowska and Musbrnoia Dworakowska are revised and seven new species are described: Gredzinskiya lamellaris , G. serrata , G. spinalis , G. zhangae , Musbrnoia angusta , M. corollaris and M. lata spp. nov.. Habitus photos, illustrations of male genitalia and keys to adult males for both genera are provided.

The leafhopper genus Takama Dworakowska & Viraktamath, 1975 is considered a junior synonym of Matsumurina Dworakowska, 1972, with seven known species all transferred to the latter. Another new combination is proposed: Matsumurina macra (Kuoh, 1982) n. comb. Seven additional species: Matsumurina abbreviata , M. angusta , M. furcata , M. longa , M. longissima , M. qini and M. serriformis spp. nov. are newly described and illustrated. A key for identification of adult males of Matsumurina is provided.

A new genus of tribe Erythroneurini from China, Laciniata gen. nov. is described and illustrated based on type species L. lijianga sp. nov.

Two new genera of tribe Erythroneurini from China, Saccata gen. nov. and Variolosa gen. nov. are described and illustrated based on type species Saccata insolita sp. nov. and Variolosa meni sp. nov. respectively. Genus Thailus Mahmood with new species Thailus versicolor sp. nov. is reported from China for the first time and another new species, T rectilinea sp. nov. from Thailand is also described. A key to adult males of Thailus is provided.

Six species of the genus Kabakra Dworakowska were studied and illustrated, including three new species from China and Thailand: Kabakra acutata, K. aviformis, K. celata spp. nov., and one new record from China: Kabakra augusta Dworakowska n. rec.. A key for the identification of adult males is provided.

Two oriental genera of Erythroneurini, Chagria Dworakowska and Davmata Dworakowska, are reported from China for the first time, each based on a new species: Chagria camptoprocessa and Davmata falcata spp. nov. Illustrations and keys to males for each genus are provided.

Eight species of the genus Raabeina are illustrated, including three previously described species and five new species are described: Raabeina acutata, R. biangulara, R. bubengensis, R. curtihamata and R. gracila spp. nov. One species, R. fuscofasciata Dworakowska n. rec, is newly recorded from China. A key to males of Raabeina is provided.

Ossuaria Dworakowska is recorded for the first time from China and two new species, Ossuaria sichuanensis sp. nov. and Ossuaria yunnanensis sp. nov. are described from China. Generic characteristics and a key to known species of the genus are provided.

In the present paper, some new species and new records of Erythroneurini from China are reported. Two new species are added to the genus Kusala Dworakowska 1981 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Typhlocybinae) from South China, K. datianensis sp. n. and K. populi sp. n. A key is given to distinguish all species of the genus. At the same time, the genus Gambialoa Dworakowska (1972) is reported for the first time from China, a new record, Gambialoa asiatica Dworakowska, 1979 from China are described and illustrated newly. A species checklist of Gambialoa from Oriental Region is provided.

The leafhopper genus Plumosa was erected by Sohi (1977). It belongs to the tribe Erythroneurini of Typhlocybinae with Plumosa emarginata Sohi, 1977 from India as its type species. Until now, there have been no further reports on this genus. Here the genus is reported for the first time from China and a new Chinese species is described and illustrated. The type specimens are deposited to the collection of the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, Guizhou (IEGU) and Illinois Natural History Survey (INHS).

In this paper, two new species are added to the genus Tautoneura Anufriev, 1969 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Typhlocybinae) from Southwest China, T. multimaculata sp. n. and T. longiprocessa sp. n. A key to species recorded from China is provided.

New replacement names are proposed for 5 genera, 1 subgenus, and 1 species of the tribe Erythroneurini. One homonymous genus name is replaced by its junior synonym. The following changes are proposed: genera Neolokia nom. nov. for Lokia Thapa (not Ris), Makia nom. nov. for Makilingana Mahmood (not Miller), Hepneriana Dworakowska for Mandera Ahmed (not Fauvel), Theroniana nom. nov. for Sandia Theron (not Clench & Ehrlich), Damaniana nom. nov. for Damania Thapa (not Smith), Thapaia nom. nov. for Masaakia Thapa (not Takeuchi), subgenus Ratburella (Buraria) nom. nov. for Ratburella (Burara) Dworakowska (not Swinhoe), species Erythroneura (Eratoneura) hepneri nom. nov. for E. (E.) spatulata Ross (not Beamer).

Ten species of Cicadellidae belonging to the tribe Erythroneurini, nine new to science and one new combination, are described here. These are Sirosoma indica, sp. nov., Platytettix variegatus, sp. nov., P. sudra (Distant), Hardiana thiosimilis, sp. nov., Zygina fuscoviridis, sp. nov., Z. minor, sp. nov. Z. unipunctata, sp. nov., Z. acutivertex, sp. nov., Z. bipunctata, sp. nov., and Z. punctulata sp. nov. Out of these species P. sudra is a new combination transferred from Typhlocyba and is redescrided here since the original description was found incomplete. A key for the separation of the genera studied by the authors under this tribe is given.

Cerneura delonixia gen. et sp. n. is described from specimens collected on flamboyant trees (Delonix regia) in Mauritius and Reunion, where it causes severe damage. Attention is drawn to other leafhoppers causing similar damage to other trees elsewhere in the tropics.

Zanjoneura kenyana gen. et sp.n. is described from specimens collected on Caesalpinia spinosa in Kenya, and two species are transferred to Zanjoneura from Frutioidia. A key is given to the 18 genera of the Erythroneurini found in Africa.

Two new genera and seven new species belonging to three tribes of Typhlocybinae, i.e., Apetiocellata bifasciata, gen. et sp. nov. (Tribe Dikraneurini); Coloana bischofiae, sp. nov., Mandera horneata, sp. nov., Mandola manaliensis, sp. nov., Plumosa emarginata, gen. et sp. nov. (Tribe Erythroneurini), Amrasca apicoserrata, sp. nov., and Empoasca uniprossicae, sp. nov. (Tribe Empoascini) are described from north-western India.

Two tribes of the subfamily Typhlocybinae are represented in New Zealand, as follows. Erythroneurini: the cosmopolitan genus Zygina is represented by 4 endemic species—toetoe, ramsayi n.sp., dumbletoni, and agni n.sp.—plus zealandica, which occurs in Australia also. Typhlocybini: Typhlocyba froggatti, T. lethierryi, Ribautiana tenerrima, Eupteryx melissae, Kybos smaragdula, and K. betulicola are introduced Northern Hemisphere elements; Matatua montivaga n.gen.s M. maorica (formerly Dikraneura maorica), also endemic, is of uncertain identity in the absence of male specimens. Keys are given for the separation of all taxa, the genera and species are described, and all species except Matatua maorica are figured.

Fourteen new species of the tribe Erythroneurini are described here under seven new genera. These are Spatulostylus variegatus, sp. nov., S. erythromaculatus, sp. nov., S. palniensis, sp. nov., Ratburella unipunctata, sp. nov., Indianella indraprasthana, sp. nov., I. tamaricis, sp. nov., I. delhiana, sp. nov., Cassianeura sexmaculata. sp. nov., Zyginopsis abundans, sp. nov., Z. erythropunctatus, sp. nov., Z. basipunctatus, sp. nov., Z. hindusthanicus, sp. nov., Kodaikanalia primulae, sp. nov. and Erythroneuropsis indicus, sp. nov.
