Purpose: The performance of educators has always been crucial for the success of educational institutions, and technology training has played a significant role in enhancing their performance. This aspect requires a strong focus from researchers. The present study investigates how training in assistive technology affects educators' knowledge and self-efficacy, as well as their performance in Saudi Arabia's special educational institutions. The study also examines the role of educators' knowledge and self-efficacy in relation to assistive technology training and educators' performance. Methodology: The study used questionnaires to collect primary data from students at special educational institutions. The study also utilised the smart-PLS to assess the reliability of the data and the relationships between variables. Findings: The results revealed that the training on assistive technology has a positive correlation with educators' knowledge and self-confidence, which in turn positively impacts their performance. The results also revealed that educators' knowledge and self-efficacy play a significant role in mediating the relationship between assistive technology training and the performance of educators in Saudi Arabia's special educational institutions. In biomechanical devices, blood can be transfused through small, curved walls. Accordingly, this research highlights the study of blood flow in cases of stenosis of the elastic artery with curvature. The effects of bending on the shear and resistance through this elastic tube have been investigated. The moderate stenosis case has been used to simulate the governing equations for an incompressible and steady non‐Newtonian fluid, or "tangent hyperbolic fluid". A perturbation technique has been used to obtain an analytical solution. The Rubinow & Keller model [24] simulates the flexibility of the stenosis artery walls. The results showed that increasing the parameters linked to the walls' flexibility made it easier for blood to flow through the stenosis area, which emphasizes the need for a thorough investigation of non‐Newtonian fluid flow phenomena. One of the most important threats facing humanity is blood stenosis. Background: Unrecognized transection of the recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) or its motor branch could result in an unexpected permanent palsy. So, for a safe thyroid operation, intraoperative assurance of anatomical and functional RLN integrity is a necessity. Aim of work: To evaluate the recognition and protection of RLN by staining the RLN intraoperatively with methylene blue (MB) in one side and comparing it with the identification alone in the other side visually during total thyroidectomy. Methods: A case control study (retrospective study) carried out in the department of surgical oncology Zagazig university hospitals and Ismailia teaching oncology hospital during the period from November 2018 to August 2019. The study included 112 patients with bilateral thyroid disease who will do total thyroidectomy. The patients were subdivided into two groups depending on the MB use. Complete history taking was taken from all subjects. General examination of all body systems and local examination of the neck were done. We also did full lab investigations, neck U/S then the operations were performed. Results: We detected transient vocal cord palsy 10 sides (8.6%) of visual identification alone, while in MB sides no case was detected with the same lesion. Conclusion: Recognition of RLN intraoperatively by MB staining is cheap and widely available technique and can decrease the stress during thyroidectomy, especially when Intra Operative Nerve Monitoring (IONM) is absent. Background Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is considered one of the most significant public health challenges due to its chronicity and complications that happen after several years of infection. The main event in HBV effect is its recognition as a foreign antigen which activates the immunity to target and destroy infected cells, hence HBV is not a cytotoxic virus. This destruction happens intermittently through the course of chronic infection leading to inflammation and necrosis of the liver tissue. The repetition of these periods of liver injury yields liver fibrosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. For disease prognostication, assessment of treatment of treatment indications and management in HBV chronic infected patients, assessment of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis status is crucial. Liver biopsy is an accurate but invasive method, while transient elastography and different serum biomarkers are considered non-invasive modalities. The platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) is a novel inflammatory marker, which can be used for predicting inflammation and mortality in many diseases. While NLR has been recommended as a new marker for systemic inflammation as Lymphomononuclear cells play a fundamental role in inflammatory pathways during the development of cirrhosis. PLR values were considerably lower in chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) patients with significant liver fibrosis and it is suggested that combining noninvasive parameters such as PLR and NLR may help identifying patients at high risk of developing advanced and progressive disease. Aim To correlate hepatitis B viral replication, liver biochemical tests and liver fibrosis to platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and follow up treatment response of HBV with PLR and NLR. Patients and methods This prospective study was conducted on 60 patients with HBV eligible for antiviral treatment with NAs, agreeable to regular follow-up, recruited from Ain Shams University Virology Center in Cairo during the period from January 2022 to January 2023 after informed consents were taken from the patients and agreement for follow up. All patients were investigated by laboratory tests (CBC, AST, ALT, Total bilirubin, serum albumin, INR, serum creatinine, alpha fetoprotein, HBsAg, HBV DNA PCR, HBeAg), Pelviabdominal ultrasound and Fibroscan followed by calculation of PLR and NLR before and six months after initiating treatment. Results Our study shows a negative and a statistically significant correlation between PLR and Fibroscan in patients before treatment (P value <0.001) and 6 months after treatment initiation (P value <0.001) Also PLR statistically correlated in a positive way to HBV DNA in patients before treatment (P value <0.001). While there was no statistically significant correlation between NLR and neither the Fibroscan nor HBV DNA PCR in both study periods. Conclusions PLR partially correlates with HBV DNA PCR but strongly correlated with fibrosis stage in fibroscan with an inverse correlation and can be used as a marker of fibrosis. Inelastic collisions of protons with rubidium atoms are treated for the first time within the framework of the three channel coupled static, and frozen core approximations. The method is used for calculating partial and total cross sections with the assumption that only three channels (elastic; non-excited hydrogen, 1s-state; and excited hydrogen, 2s-state) are open. We have used the Lipmann-Schwinger equation and the Green's functions iterative numerical method technique to solve the derived coupled integro-differential equations to obtain the computer code. The present results for total hydrogen formation cross sections are in agreement with results of other available ones in a wide range of incident energy. The inelastic scattering of a proton with a caesium atom is treated for the first time as a three-channel problem within the framework of the improved coupled static approximation with the assumption that the ground (1s state) and excited (2s state) hydrogen formation channels are open for seven values of the total angular momentum, l (0 ≤ l ≤ 6) at energies between 50 and 500 keV. The Green's function iterative numerical method is used to obtain the computer code to calculate iterative partial cross sections. This can be done through calculating the reactance matrix at different values of considered energies to obtain the transition matrix that gives partial and total cross sections. This work deals with the effect of polarization potential on inelastic scattering of muons by hydrogen atom, [[mu].sup.+]-H, as a two-channel problem in which the elastic and muonium (in 1s state) formation channels are open for seven values of the total angular momentum at energies between 1 and 10 keV. For this purpose, we improved the coupled static approximation by 'switching on' the polarization potential of hydrogen atom (in 1s state) to calculate elastic and muonium formation crosssections of [[mu].sup.+]-H inelastic scattering. We use the Lipmann-Swinger equation and an iterative numerical method to obtain the computational code. This can be done through calculating the reactance matrix, then obtaining the transition matrix that gives partial and total cross-sections.
