Weight gain affects about 10-20% of patients after bariatric surgery. It is a phenomenon that is difficult to understand and to intervene due to its complexity and etiological heterogeneity. In the present study, we investigated, from a network analysis perspective, the associations between weight regain, psychological, sociodemographic factors and physical activity in patients undergoing bariatric surgery. The sample consisted of 124 patients, of both sexes, aged 39 ± 9.1 years, who had undergone surgical intervention for more than 18 months. After voluntary consent, respondents answered questionnaires and instruments directly on the Google Forms platform. The results indicated that weight gain was negatively associated with the items of depression, anxiety and stress, binge eating and with the dimensions of the personality questionnaire (negative affectivity -0.182; detachment -0.078; antagonism -0.107; disinterest - 0.198 and psychoticism -0.158). The centrality indicators revealed that the characteristics of disinterest and negative affectivity and most of the items on the depression, anxiety and stress scale had a greater expected influence (values ​​from 1,043 to 1,502), indicating that these are the most sensitive variables to intervention and who need more attention from health professionals.

Em maior ou menor grau, produtores rurais, assistentes técnicos e gestores de empresas do setor agrícola são usuários e demandam cada vez mais novos produtos e serviços que envolvem a integração digital. São partes desse segmento: canais online/plataformas para compra de insumos (sementes, fertilizantes agroquímicos, etc.), máquinas e equipamentos e de comercialização da produção; sistemas de planejamento e gestão financeira e de riscos dos empreendimentos rurais; e uso de ferramentas de Agricultura de Precisão.

Our objective was to measure alterations in the micrometeorological conditions surrounding canola seedlingsduring frost periods, and to quantify seedling mortality as a function of straw distribution on the ground surface. The data was acquired from 15 frosts in 2014. We used four treatments, comprising ground surface without straw (SWS), ground surface entirely straw-covered (SEC), sowing line without straw (SLW), and soil with preexisting surface straw (SES), over three experiments. Net radiation (NR), soil heat flux (G), air (Ta), leaf (Lf), rosette (Tr), and surface temperature (Ts), and plant mortality were evaluated. NR was higher in the SEC treatment and lower in the SLW treatment, whereas G was higher on straw-covered ground; Ts and Ta were lower in the SEC than in the other treatments during the most intense frosts. On 06/19, Tr in the SEC and SLW treatments was -0.66 °C and 0.42 °C, respectively; on 08/14, Lf was -3.62 °C and -2.88 °C in the SEC and SLW treatments, respectively. Plant mortality due to the frost on 06/19 was 30% in the SEC treatment, but 0% in the SLW treatment; the frost of 08/14 caused 33.8% mortality in the SEC treatment and 1.25% in the SLW treatment. This therefore showed that removing straw from the sowing line improved the microclimate around the plants, thus reducing canola mortality at the beginning of the growth cycle, which is when frost events most frequently occur. In wheat breeding, several strategies are applied to improve grain yield. Annually, a great number of cultivars of different origins are crossed. The plants derived from these segregating populations are exposed to the most diverse possible stresses to develop new cultivars with maximum technical and economic efficiency and generate improvements to maximize the economic-environmental sustainability of plantations, while maintaining or increasing the yield potential. The analysis of PNEDH and implementation practices at this educational institution, according to the principles and contents of this document correspond to the objective of the study. Human Rights, Citizenship, Multiculturalism, Intercultural Matters and Democracy are the main categories of the research. The methodological approach was qualitative with its literature review brought together national and international bibliography Human Rights themes, organized from scientific articles, theses, dissertations, books and official documents. The text is structured in three chapters, as the following sequence: Research Theoretical Paths, Methodological Paths and Data Analysis. Interviews were the chosen tools and they were applied at a public school in Osasco, a city in the neighborhood of S??o Paulo. From speech analysis, it was showed that the implementation of PNEDH is still ineffective and its structure is also unknown. There are not, even efficient programs or proposals aiming the accomplishment of this Plan at school. El objeto de la presente investigaci??n es la implantaci??n del Plan Nacional de Educaci??n en Derechos Humanos (PNEDH). Se pretende conocer c??mo se conduce la implantaci??n del Plan en una escuela p??blica del estado de S??o Paulo. Nuestro objetivo es realizar un an??lisis de las pr??cticas de implantaci??n del PNEDH en dicha escuela, considerando los principios y el contenido de ese documento. Son categor??as centrales de la investigaci??n: Derechos Humanos, Ciudadan??a, Multiculturalidad, Interculturalidad y Democracia. La metodolog??a elegida se basa en un amplio labor bibliogr??fico y cualitativo que se orienta por la revisi??n de las producciones alrededor del tema de los derechos humanos inseridas en art??culos cient??ficos, tesis, libros y documentos oficiales a niveles nacional e internacional. Hemos utilizado la entrevista como recurso fundamental. Improving rainfed wheat cultivation in central Brazil, where the Cerrado biome (Brazilian savanna) is predominant, remains a bottleneck for future increases in domestic wheat production. In the Cerrado, the limited water availability during the wheat-growing season is an obstacle to increase wheat yield. To address this issue, the physiological and molecular drought response of wheat and the environmental conditions of this region must be better understood. In this review, we characterized the impact of drought on rainfed wheat production in the Cerrado. Based on the peculiarities of this environment, we suggest that certain traits should be prioritized in selection. These traits and their molecular basis are important to raise wheat yields in the Cerrado and also to improve food security in Brazil, one of the top wheat-importing countries in the world.
