Introduction: Deprescribing serves as a pivotal measure to mitigate the drug-related problem due to polypharmacy. This study aimed to map the factors influencing healthcare providers' deprescribing decision using the Behaviour Change Wheel framework and develop an innovative conceptual model to support deprescribing practice. Methods: A cross-sectional online survey targeting doctors and pharmacists was conducted to assess the influence of various factors on healthcare providers' comfort in recommending deprescribing. The conceptual model was formulated, based on the existing deprescribing framework and the Behaviour Change Wheel. The model's robustness was scrutinised through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), and model-fitting indices were employed to obtain the best-fit model. Results: A total of 736 responses were analysed with the final best-fit model consisting of 24 items in 5 constructs (R2: 0.163; SRMR: 0.064; rho_c: 0.750–0.862; AVE: 0.509–0.627) and three independent factors. Based on the results, we proposed that deprescribing could be promoted through strategies aimed at enhancing healthcare providers internal capabilities such as knowledge levels, when patients' condition deteriorated and previous experiences with adverse events of drugs. Organisational support in providing such educational opportunities is important, with the empowerment of patient and healthcare providers through policy enhancements, guideline development, and effective communication. Conclusion: The deprescribing behaviours of healthcare professionals are influenced by an intricate interplay of patient, prescriber, and system factors. Enhancing deprescribing practices necessitates a comprehensive strategy that encompasses providers and patients' education, the development of structured deprescribing guidelines, the implementation of deprescribing support tools, and the enhancement of communication between healthcare providers. The Government of Indonesia has set a roadmap towards net zero emissions by 2060, which includes accelerating the adoption of electric motorcycles. The government assigned the State Electricity Company (PLN) to accelerate the adoption by optimizing the potential of conventional motorcycle users and ride hailing. The battery swapping scheme is an attractive choice for companies to increase their profits. However, users still experience uncertainty about battery swapping. It is thus imperative to implement a battery reservation strategy to make it easy for battery swapping users to exchange them. The battery swapping industry is a complex system that involves many interrelated elements. Such a development of strategy would require a holistic view of the process and a definition of the relationships between the elements. This research aimed to develop a conceptual model for a battery swapping industry development strategy with a system dynamic modelling approach and a business model canvas framework. The conceptual model is presented in a system diagram, and a causal loop diagram provides the first information that has an impact on the company’s intervention in the battery swapping industry development strategy. The unmanned aircraft system (UAS) industry in Indonesia is lagging behind in market share and innovation. An effective government policy is crucial to make domestic UAS products more innovative and competitive. However, still not enough academic research discusses the system structure of the UAS industry. Considering the complexity of the UAS industry, this study uses system dynamics in combination with a policy analysis framework to capture a broader perspective on the system. Consistent discretization methods are a natural fit for the novel cut-cell gridding technique for reservoir simulation, which preserves the orthogonality characteristic in the lateral direction. Both uniform (global) and novel hybrid (local) variants of consistent discretization methods are implemented and tested in the vicinity of fault representations on cut-cell grids. Novel consistent discretization methods, which do not require major intrusive changes to the solver structure of industrial-grade reservoir simulators, are investigated in this work. Cell-centered methods such as multi-point flux approximation (MPFA), average multi-point flux approximation (AvgMPFA), and nonlinear two-point flux approximation (NTPFA) methods fit naturally into the framework of existing industrial-grade simulators. Thus, cut-cell compatible variants of AvgMPFA and NTPFA and their novel hybridizations with TPFA are implemented and tested. An implementation of the relatively more computationally expensive MPFA is also made to serve as accuracy reference to AvgMPFA and NTPFA. AvgMPFA and NTPFA multiphase simulation results are compared in terms of accuracy and computational performance against the ones computed with reference MPFA and TPFA methods on a set of synthetic cut-cell grid models of varying complexity including conceptual models and a field-scale model. It is observed that AvgMPFA consistently yields more accurate and computationally efficient simulations than NTPFA on cut-cell grids. Moreover, AvgMPFA-TPFA hybrids run faster than NTPFA-TPFA hybrids when compared on the same problem for the same hybridization strategy. On the other hand, the computational performance of AvgMPFA degrades more rapidly compared to NTPFA with increasing "rings" of orthogonal blocks around cut-cells. Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) is extensively implicated as a risk factor preceding the development of Obsessive–Compulsive Personality Traits (OCPT). Nevertheless, the majority of individuals with a history of CAN do not go on to develop OCPT. To date, little research has investigated potential model networks that may help contribute to explaining why CAN sometimes leads to OCPT and not at other times. Thus, this study aimed to investigate whether attachment-anxiety, intolerance of uncertainty, and metacognition have indirect effects in the association between CAN and OCPT in various network models. Undergraduate psychology students (N = 291) participated in an anonymous 30-min online survey consisting of a series of self-report questionnaires regarding child abuse and neglect, attachment, intolerance of uncertainty, metacognition, OCPT, and depression. Bootstrapped serial mediation revealed attachment-anxiety and intolerance of uncertainty had a serial-mediation effect in the association between CAN and OCPT. Serial mediation was not found for metacognition and attachment-anxiety. However, metacognition alone mediated between child emotional abuse and OCPT. These findings expand our currently limited knowledge regarding the etiology of OCPT and suggest that attachment-anxiety, intolerance of uncertainty, and metacognition may be important contributors for understanding the development of OCPT following CAN exposure. Despite the need for profound systemic change to deal with environmental issues, this is not happening. At a psycho‐sociological level, System Justification Theory has mostly explained environmental inaction by greater environmental denial on the part of individuals motivated to justify the economic system. In this article, and in line with research in political science and sociology, we propose to also take into account the existence of different beliefs concerning the social change needed to deal with environmental problems. While some do advocate for profound transformations of current socio‐economic systems, others propose to maintain and adapt them. Moreover, these beliefs have different implications in terms of the pro‐environmental behaviors (PEBs) to be adopted by individuals. We therefore hypothesized that, independently of environmental denial, individuals who justify the economic system would adhere more to adaptation beliefs (e.g., individualization of responsibility) and reject transformation beliefs (e.g., incompatibility between economic growth and environmental preservation); and that these beliefs would mediate the effects of system‐justification on PEBs depending on whether or not they challenge the economic system. A correlational study (N = 277) corroborated our hypotheses. The importance of taking into account the system‐challenging (or not) nature of some pro‐environmental beliefs and behaviors is discussed. Public Significance statement: This article proposes to consider the presence of divergent beliefs regarding the necessity of either adapting or transforming current socio‐economic systems to address environmental issues. Objective: Although social media use, such as Instagram, has been associated with ED pathology, mechanisms connecting social media use to disordered eating behaviors (DEBs) remain largely unevaluated. Based on Dual Process, Tripartite, and Affect Regulation models of ED pathology, we proposed a moderated mediation model evaluating impacts of exposure to fitspiration/thinspiration on Instagram. Method: We evaluated a hypothesized pathway from exposure to fitspiration/thinspiration (i.e., ED‐salient content) on Instagram to disordered eating mediated by negative affect and tested individual differences in weight bias internalization, trait self‐esteem, and trait self‐comparison as moderators. We recruited 173 undergraduate women who reported engaging in DEBs on average at least once per week over the past 3 months. Participants completed a seven‐day ecological momentary assessment protocol, during which they reported their ED‐salient content exposure on Instagram, affect, and engagement in DEBs. Results: Multilevel modeling was used to assess moderated mediation. Negative affect partially mediated associations between viewing ED‐salient content and subsequent engagement in objective binge eating and restricting but did not mediate the pathway to purging or excessive exercise. Higher weight bias internalization intensified the association between viewing ED‐salient content and negative affect. Discussion: The association between viewing ED‐salient content and engaging in objective binge eating and restricting may be a partial consequence of elevated negative affect; however, effects were small. Individuals with higher weight bias internalization may be more vulnerable to negative consequences from viewing ED‐salient content. Findings suggested that reducing negative affect responses (e.g., via emotion regulation) could reduce negative consequences of viewing ED‐salient content. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Current complex life conditions and changing developmental contexts draw attention to the concept of capabilities, the various combinations of functions a person can do or can be, and the opportunities to achieve them. A future‐oriented time perspective is a dimension along which individuals express meaning‐making of experiences and expectations regarding their lives, a benchmark for the well‐being and satisfaction of the quality of life they experience. Findings from research studies involving adults with disabilities and family members of persons with a disability provide evidence for a time‐based model, an approach tapping into both the concept and measurement of quality of life and balancing both current and expected quality of life. Annual surveys continue to demonstrate an increasing prevalence of mental health difficulties among college students, resulting in increasing help seeking behaviors. One factor identified as predicting both well-being and mental health symptoms among college students is family functioning. The Family Adaptability and Cohesion Scale IV (FACES-IV) is a popular instrument that assesses family functioning for use in both clinical and research contexts. However, the FACES-IV has not been specifically validated among the college student population. This study examined the psychometric properties of the FACES-IV with 684 primarily female college students from 18 colleges and universities across the northeastern, midwestern, and southern United States in 2018. Given the data, an alternative three-factor model of the FACES-IV was explored with the sample. Implications for using the FACES-IV in research and practice with college students are discussed. We investigate between- and within-country consensus about affective meanings of social identities along the evaluation, potency, and activity dimensions from the affect control theory research tradition. Ratings for 387 (194 male and 193 female) identities were collected from two samples representative of the French (N = 700) and German (N = 700) populations for age, gender, and region. Guided by two preregistered hypotheses based on previous cross-cultural research, our analysis points to considerable cultural consensus between French and Germans who seem to share a common "Carolingian" affective culture; yet some culture-specific patterns concerning the evaluation dimension and evaluation-potency interactions were found to be statistically significant. The Boston Marathon is a highly regarded event in the running world, not just for its prestige and challenging course, but also for its implementation of a psychology team to support runners. The 2013 Boston Marathon bombings underscored the essential role that mental health support plays at this event, prompting the development and expansion of its innovative care model. This review critically outlines, evaluates, and analyzes the approach and effectiveness of the psychological care model provided to runners on race day as part of the Boston Marathon medical team, including the standard of care, how it functions, and best practices for other marathons. The implications for this review contribute to the increasing trend of providing psychological care in marathon and other athletic settings, and to provide a framework for standardizing assessment and intervention procedures for both elite and novice runners. This article aims for a conceptual model of how crises and events function together and apart, starting from the view that the two are not interchangeable. I therefore define events as structural transformations that can be the object of empirical knowledge, but which are not self-evident or known to all as they take place. Crisis-claims, meanwhile, are performative judgments or demands for a different future. Given that structural transformations are not self-evident in the moment, a crisis-claim, in this sense, is a guess that an event is taking place. This distinction is elucidated through a computational text analysis of U.S. media reporting on shootings, focusing on the month before and the month after George Floyd's death. Building on this conceptual distinction, I argue that events and crises can coincide, constitute, and even modify the other. Background: For much of the 20th century, psychosocial approaches to psychosis were rejected by conventional psychiatry. However, Loren R. Mosher, an American psychiatrist, drawing on the ideas of R. D. Laing and the tenets of interpersonal phenomenology, set up the Soteria project in California, and in so doing made his mark on the psychosocial treatment of psychosis. This essy revisits Mosher's life's work, analysing some of the implications derived from his creation of alternative therapeutic spaces in psychiatry for those stigmatized, medicalized, and objectified within a psychiatric category. Methods: Using a selection of relevant works from the literature (including many written by Mosher alone or in collaboration with others), this paper is a timely reconsideration of this question, as there is a growing acknowledgment today of the need for alternatives to the current drug-centered approach to the care of people who are going through psychotic episodes. Results and Discussion: As I will show here, Mosher was a potent precursor of the so-called community-based approach, imbuing his clinical praxis with a strong phenomenological vision of psychosis. He also showed his work to be compatible with robust research, and provided empirical evidence for its efficacy, without rejecting drug prescriptions when necessary. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Emotional regulation difficulties have been linked to unusual sensory experiences (USEs) in the general population. However, the multi-factorial nature of emotional regulation is relatively understudied. This study examined emotional regulation difficulties, alexithymia and interpersonal emotional regulation across six USEs in a psychosis-proneness sample. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional correlational research design with predictive models. Data was gathered using an online survey methodology, with convenience purposive sampling. Results: A series of hierarchical linear regressions tested the predictive power of the emotional regulation variables on USEs, controlling for self-identified psychiatric diagnoses. Emotional regulation difficulties were a significant predictor in all six USEs. Alexithymia was a significant predictor in three USEs. Interpersonal emotion regulation was not a significant predictor. Discussion: The consistency of the relationship between emotional regulation difficulties and USEs emphasised its importance in psychological models and the potential to utilise the large emotional dysregulation evidence base with psychosis populations. Emotional regulation is a multi-factorial construct. Further exploration of emotional regulation difficulties in USEs, and utilising emotional regulation skills with clinical samples are warranted. Several conceptual models have been proposed for the amalgamation of granitoid plutons, which range from incremental growth to single-stage emplacement of these systems. This diversity of views has led to intense debate about the thermomechanical state of silicic intrusions and the magma differentiation paths within the crust. In this contribution, we present a comprehensive petrologic, geochronologic, and magnetic fabric data set from the La Obra-Cerro Blanco intrusive suite, which allows us to explore the petrogenesis and magma emplacement processes in the upper crust. This intrusive suite is composed of (1) a vertically zoned granitoid intrusion in spatial association with mafic layers and stocks and (2) a cupola-like highsilica granite. We interpret this intrusive suite as assembled by diverse but coexisting intrusion mechanisms over a time span of ~1.4 m.y. from 21.4 to 19.9 Ma. As indicated by the subhorizontal magnetic lineation, the first stage was dominated by horizontal emplacement of sheet-like intrusions of intermediate compositions, which became increasingly silicic after plagioclase and amphibole fractionation throughout the crustal column. The latest stage was instead dominated by cooling, crystallization, and differentiation of a thickened granitoid body and the formation of a high-silica magma chamber. The steep magnetic lineation and the abundance of aplite and rhyolitic dikes observed in the cupola-like, high-silica granites suggest that this portion acted as an evacuation channel of high-silica magma toward shallower levels, offering a rare opportunity to understand not only silicic magma accumulation and storage in the upper crust, but also the processes connecting the plutonic and volcanic environments. Aquatic plants, seagrasses, macrophytes, mangroves, and riparian vegetation are responsible for some of the most important ecosystem services provided on the Earth. Given their role in trapping plastics along rivers, we propose a new ecosystem service of plastic entrapment by global plants. Although research started recently to study vegetation trapping plastics, little is known about the global patterns of plastic retention and remobilization by vegetation through different habitats. Given those gaps, we synthesize global data on plastic entrapment in plants providing a conceptual model to describe processes for plastic retention by vegetation. Our results demonstrate how vegetation has a pivotal role in entrapping plastics across spatial and temporal scales, finding the higher density of plastics on plants rather than in the adjacent water area. Furthermore, we proposed a conceptual model (i.e., Plant Plastic Pathway) of plants entrapping plastics, highlighting spatial and temporal scales of plastic retention and release processes in different habitats. Thus, we anticipate our conceptual model to be a starting point for more sophisticated future studies, putting effort into looking at plastic–vegetation dynamics. How human-computer interaction affects customer electronic service quality satisfaction is an important issue that electronic service-based companies need to consider. This paper constructs a conceptual model based on service dominant logic theory and task technology fit theory. It conducts a questionnaire survey of 559 Taobao platform users to verify the proposed hypothesis. The results show that human-computer interaction comprises three basic factors (technology functionality, task routineness, and technology readiness) and two core factors (interaction between task routineness and technology functionality, and interaction between technology readiness and technology functionality). This research enriches the theoretical basis of electronic service quality. It promotes the development of task technology fit theory in service science, providing guidance for electronic service-based companies to improve service interfaces and enhance electronic service quality. Despite the influence of the integrated motivational-volitional (IMV)1 model on research and practice, the supporting literature has not been systematically synthesised. This systematic review aims to synthesise the literature testing the IMV model of suicidal behaviour. Using citation and database searching, PsycINFO, EMBASE, PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar were searched for studies referencing the IMV model (last searched on 28th March 2023). Included studies empirically tested the hypotheses of the model. Quality assessment was conducted using the National Institute of Health tool. Findings from 98 records (100 studies, 138,365 participants) were narratively synthesised. Results from studies directly testing the hypothesised pathways of the model supported the defeat-entrapment-suicidal ideation pathway of the IMV model. Case–control studies comparing differences between control, ideation, and enactment groups were consistent with hypotheses in univariate and cross-sectional analyses. However, support for the model was mixed for case–control multivariate and prospective studies. Due to low overlap in variables studied, the role of specific pre-motivational phase variables and stage-specific moderators was inconclusive. The studies received overall good quality ratings. The IMV model presents a promising framework for understanding and preventing suicide. Defeat, entrapment, and key variables may be useful in informing suicide prevention measures. Despite the growing international focus on neurodiversity, its explicit identification and incorporation into educational and workplace practices remain underdeveloped in Saudi Arabia. This study explores the indirect presence and characterisation of neurodiversity within Saudi Arabia through existing inclusive practices. The study aimed to analyse the prevalence and characteristics of neurodiversity practices in Saudi Arabia, using inclusive education, mainstreaming education, inclusive society, and inclusive work as indicators, and to develop a conceptual model for neurodiversity applicable both locally and globally. A content analysis was conducted on 33 studies related to inclusive practices in Saudi Arabia. Data were categorised into emergent themes to construct a conceptual model that encapsulates neurodiversity practices. The findings revealed eight categories representing neurodiversity practices: Teacher Preparedness and Training, Policy and Implementation, Inclusive Educational Practices, Assistive Technologies and Resources, Socio‐emotional and Health Support, Specialised Training and Professional Development, Student and Peer Perspectives, and Inclusive Infrastructure. The proposed conceptual model synthesises these categories, providing a structured depiction of neurodiversity practices in Saudi Arabia and offering a framework with international applicability. This study uncovers an implicit acknowledgment of neurodiversity and a foundational approach to inclusive practices within the Saudi Arabian context, parallel to global inclusive trends. Early childhood teachers' emotions have increasingly received the attention of researchers in the past decades. The present study conducted a systematic review of the research on early childhood teachers' emotions published in English up to 2022. Based on evidence from 103 empirical studies, the results presented the significant roles of early childhood teachers' emotions in teaching and learning in early childhood education. A conceptual model was developed to illustrate how early childhood teachers' emotions are viewed at the intrapersonal, interpersonal and sociocultural levels. Most of existing studies adopted quantitative methods to explore early childhood teachers' emotions at the intrapersonal level, and a strong link between research methods and research themes was revealed. This study aims to assess pre-post change of 439 patients undergoing a multicomponent treatment (psychodynamic psychotherapy complemented with other treatment components) using a novel network methodology targeting symptoms comorbidity. Patients were recruited from seven clinical sites in the Czech Republic. First, the effectiveness of the treatment was assessed traditionally as a pre-post change in wellbeing, depression, and anxiety using a Bayesian mixed model. The Bayesian factors of time effect (pre-post comparison) on the three outcomes indicate evidence in favor of hypotheses suggesting psychotherapy effectiveness. Second, a network analysis of individual items measuring all three outcomes (Gaussian Graphical Model) was conducted to compare baseline and post-treatment patients' networks in global edge strength, the topography of the network, the centrality of nodes, and the clique percolation. The network density represented by global edge strength was not affected by the treatment. Nevertheless, the network structure changed in a more qualitative manner into a clearer and separated set of node communities, potentially showing a reduction in comorbidity. The central position of the depression node community in the patients' self-reported outcome assessment network was replaced by anxiety and wellbeing node communities after treatment. The rapid and uncontrolled development in the urban environment leads to significant problems, negatively affecting the quality of life in many areas. Smart Sustainable City concept has emerged to solve these problems and enhance the quality of life for its citizens. A smart city integrates the physical, digital and social system in order to provide a sustainable and comfortable future by the help of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI). However, the integrated management of urban data requires the inclusion of ICT enabled SDI that can be applied as a decision support element in different urban problems by giving a comprehensive understanding of city dynamics; an interoperable and integrative conceptual data modelling, essential for smart sustainable cities and successful management of big urban data. The main purpose of this study is to propose an integrated data management approach in accordance with international standards for sustainable management of smart cities. Thematic data model designed within the scope of quality of life, which is one of the main purposes of smart cities, offers an exemplary approach to overcome the problems arising from the inability to manage and analyse big and complex urban data for sustainability. In this aspect, it is aimed to provide a conceptual methodology for successful implementation of smart sustainable city applications within the international and national SDIs with environmental quality of life theme. With this object, firstly, the literature on smart sustainable cities was examined together with the scope of quality and sustainability of urban environment along with all related components. Secondly, the big data and its management was examined within the concept of the urban SDI. In this perspective, new trends and standards related to sensors, internet of things (IoT), real-time data, online services and application programming interfaces (API) were investigated. After, thematic conceptual models for the integrated management of sensor-based data were proposed and a real time Air Quality Index (AQI) dashboard was designed in Istanbul, Türkiye as the thematic case application of proposed models. This paper attempts to identify and to describe the implicit understanding of mind and mental life at work across an adolescent inpatient eating disorder ward, where the author worked as a healthcare assistant for 12 weeks. It does so by providing an account of 'prompts' employed by hospital staff during mealtimes on the ward. The vision of mental illness implied by these 'prompts' is described as supporting a paradigm of mental life consistent with the assumptions of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). An account of supervising mealtimes while employing language consistent with a psychodynamic model of mind is briefly offered as an alternative, before some of the benefits and drawbacks of both paradigms are outlined. Requirements Technical Debt (RTD) applies the Technical Debt (TD) metaphor to capture the consequences of sub-optimal decisions made concerning Requirements. Understanding the quantification of RTD is key to its management. To facilitate this understanding, we developed a conceptual model, the Requirements Technical Debt Quantification Model (RTDQM). Our work is grounded in the literature found via a systematic mapping study and informed by prior work modeling the quantification of software code-related TD types. The key finding is that although RTD is similar to code-related TD in many aspects, it also has its own components. RTD can be incurred regardless of the presence of code-related TD. Unlike code-related TD, RTD has a feedback loop involving the user. RTD can have a cascading impact on other development activities, such as design and implementation, apart from the extra costs and efforts incurred during requirements engineering activities; this is modeled by the RTD Interest constituents in our model. The model was used to compare and analyze existing quantification approaches. It helped identify what RTD quantification concepts are discussed in the existing approaches and what concepts are supported by metrics for their quantification. The stepped care model (SCM) is a patient‐centred approach to mental health care, offering a range of services from least to most intensive, tailored to individual needs. This scoping review examines the adoption, effectiveness, challenges and implications associated with applying SCM within primary mental health service delivery. Evidence from global sources suggests the model is viable, effective and useful. This review explores the literature available, clarifies fundamental concepts and identifies existing knowledge gaps. The literature search included CINAHL, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, Scopus, the Federation University library, Google and Google Scholar databases. A systematic keyword‐based search using terms like "stepped care model," "mental health," and "primary care"; and a combination of keywords and subject headings, were used. The search strategy was refined by considering factors such as relevance, publication date, objectives and outcomes. This strategy yielded 20 papers compiled in this review. They include randomised controlled trials and cross‐sectional studies. The review supports SCM adoption in primary mental health care but acknowledges the need for further research. Key inclusions of the review include cost‐effectiveness, diverse diagnoses, efficacy and the model's structural configuration. Clear treatment details, delivery methods, intervention durations and chronological sequences are essential. This systematic approach enhances generalisability across different SCM models and areas, strengthening reliable inferences. In summary, the SCM holds promise for enhancing mental health service delivery. However, there is a need to further examine the factors that determine its effectiveness and understand the different ways in which SCM is implemented. The scholarship on migration and climate change has been rapidly developed over recent decades, moving away from apocalyptic predictions of mass displacement toward more nuanced modeling of the complex relationships between climate change and migration. Unfortunately, much of that development has happened in parallel to the core of migration studies and thus our prevailing migration theories do not reflect these emerging studies of climate and migration. Our objectives for this article are to describe the general theoretical assertions made in the climate change-migration literature and propose a theoretical framework for guiding empirical investigations into the ways that climate change drives human migration, identifying the mediating variables that more directly shape migration and integrating multiple levels of analyses. We provide an example of how our theoretical framework can be used to design an analytic strategy and conclude by suggesting how future research can use this conceptual model to move toward a cohesive theory of climate-related migration and resulting policy responses. An ancient landslide located in Xichang, China, that was reactivated by mining excavation and rainfall was investigated in this study. The volume of the reactivated landslide was approximately 1200 × 104 m3, thus posing a major threat to the mining area's safety. Field surveys, drilling, on-site monitoring, laboratory studies, and numerical analyses were performed to investigate the landslide deformation characteristics and reactivation mechanism. The reactivated landslide was divided into four zones: the leading-edge collapse, the sliding, the uplifting, and the traction sliding zones. X-ray diffraction and ring shear tests indicate that the sliding zone soil exhibits significant strength-weakening characteristics when exposed to water, and the residual cohesion and internal friction angle decrease by 26.9% and 28.9%, respectively, as the moisture content increases from 15 to 24%. Additionally, a three-dimensional numerical simulation was conducted to quantitatively analyze the stability evolution of the landslide. The results showed that the topographic, stratigraphic lithology, and sliding zone soil properties provided the basic conditions for landslide formation, while mining excavation and concentrated rainfall triggered landslide reactivation. Furthermore, a conceptual model characterizing the reactivation process was constructed, and the reactivation process was divided into five stages: leading-edge collapse, sliding, extrusion and bulging, deformation expansion, and accelerated creep deformation. Whether compensation serves as a motivational resource for employees is still a debated subject. It has been suggested that the effect of pay on motivation could be contingent on the satisfaction of the basic psychological needs as outlined by self‐determination theory. The current research explored the role of amount of base pay as well as pay fairness discrepancy in relation to basic psychological need satisfaction, autonomous work motivation and, in turn, psychological well‐being (i.e., vigor and emotional exhaustion), turnover intentions, and work performance. Managerial need support was also included in the model, so its mechanisms and its effects on the outcomes could be measured against those of pay. Using a combination of archival data and employees' self‐reports from 593 Norwegian workers, results revealed that amount of base pay did not predict satisfaction of any of the basic needs, pay fairness discrepancy negatively predicted satisfaction of the needs for autonomy and relatedness and positively predicted satisfaction of the need for competence, whereas managerial need support significantly predicted satisfaction of all three needs. While there was no significant direct relation from amount of base pay to any of the outcomes, results showed a significant direct relation from managerial need support to psychological well‐being (positive to vigor and negative to emotional exhaustion) and turnover intentions (negative). The importance of prosocial behavior in helping migrant youths overcome challenges associated with relocating to urban settings has been emphasized. However, the trajectory of prosocial behavior in this population and the factors influencing it remain unclear. This study aimed to investigate the influence of cumulative family risk on the growth trajectory of prosocial behavior among Chinese rural-to-urban migrant adolescents from 7th grade to 8th grade. Additionally, it delved into the moderating role of school belonging in the relationship between cumulative family risk and prosocial development. The participants in this study included rural-to-urban migrant adolescents (Mean age = 13.52, SD = 1.23, N = 844) and their parents. Outcomes from latent growth curve modeling revealed that migrant adolescents displayed intra-individual increases in prosocial behavior during the transition from 7th grade to 8th grade, while cumulative family risk had a negative influence on these changes. Nevertheless, the adverse impact of cumulative family risk on prosocial development was alleviated for adolescents who reported a heightened sense of belonging within the school environment. These findings underscore the protective role of school belonging in the prosocial development of migrant adolescents, especially for those facing elevated cumulative family risk. Career inaction, or failing to act adequately for a period of time to make a desired change in one's career, is quite common in the workplace. Despite this, research regarding how it affects employees at work is very limited. Using attribution theory and stress research, we propose an integrated view of how employees interpret and respond to career inaction differently. Specifically, we establish the idea of blame attributions for career inaction (i.e., self‐ and other‐directed blame attribution) and investigate how they relate to employees' emotional and behavioural responses to career inaction. We conducted three studies to address the research questions: a scenario‐based experiment with 315 workers, a three‐wave survey with 302 full‐time employees and a daily diary study of 123 hospital nurses across five consecutive working days. The findings revealed that when faced with career inaction, employees who blame themselves are more likely to experience anxiety, while those who blame others tend to experience anger. Anxiety and anger are further linked to work withdrawal and interpersonal deviance respectively. Overall, we contribute to the advancement of career inaction theory and career management practices. Segmentation of work from nonwork life is widely presented as desirable to maximize recovery from work. Yet it involves effort which may reduce its positive effects. We present a dual‐process model of segmentation based on integrating boundary theory and self‐regulation theory that shows how creating and maintaining boundaries can have both positive and negative effects. Segmentation allows individuals not only to psychological detach from work, thereby reducing work–nonwork conflict, but can also deplete an individual's momentary capacity for state self‐control, increasing work–nonwork conflict. We tested our model with two studies: a weekly diary study with a sample of 436 individuals and a daily diary study with data collected at two time points each day from 162 participants. Using a Bayesian approach, we find some support for our hypothesized dual pathways. In both studies, psychological detachment mediated a negative relationship between segmentation and work–nonwork conflict. In the daily study, self‐control capacity mediated a positive relationship between segmentation and work–nonwork conflict, but this effect was present only when individuals worked onsite and not when working at home. This article contributes towards understanding the mechanisms explaining the relationship between segmentation and work–nonwork conflict and underscores the importance of self‐regulation in this process. Emerging adulthood is a pivotal period for romantic relationships, yet the specific mechanisms through which attachment anxiety influences relationship dynamics and psychological outcomes in this phase are poorly understood. Particularly, in the context of romantic dyads, understanding how partners' behaviors and emotional patterns reciprocally influence each other remains underexplored. This study utilizes the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model and Actor-Partner Interdependence Mediator Model to explore the relationship between attachment anxiety,relational aggression (both perpetration and victimization), and depressive symptoms among emerging adults. A sample of 138 mixed-sex emerging adulthood couples from China, was recruited (Mage = 21.40, SD = 2.54; 50% female, 62.6% reporting that this relationship was ongoing for more than a year). Attachment anxiety significantly predicted relational aggression in both partners, with male attachment anxiety also significantly predicted female relational aggression. Significant indirect effects of both partners' relational aggression perpetration and victimization on their own and each other's relationship between attachment anxiety and depressive symptoms. These findings contribute to understanding the intricate dynamics of attachment anxiety and relational aggression in romantic relationships during emerging adulthood, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions to mitigate these risks. Although the mechanisms of development of aggression have been focused on day by day, the complicated effects of distal and proximal factors on the development of social aggression in emerging adults have not been uncovered. A serial cascade model of aggression was proposed to address this issue. A longitudinal investigation over 2.5 years was conducted to test this model by exploring the serial cascade effects of relative deprivation (a representative of distal factors) and anger rumination (a representative of proximal factors) on the development of social aggression. A total of 1113 Chinese university students (Mage = 18.95 ± 0.96, 63.10% female) from six universities in five areas participated in this study. The results suggest that developmental trajectories and longitudinal changes in anger rumination mediate the relationship between developmental trajectories and longitudinal changes in relative deprivation and social aggression, and developmental trajectories and changes in relative deprivation mediate the longitudinal relationship between anger rumination and social aggression. After challenging models of human nature and psychological science, a series of interrogations are proposed that aid in improving the practice of theorizing in psychology, specifically in regard to the topic of race. The program of autoepistemology is defined as the study of how "my" knowledge is connected with histories, cultures and societies as well as with the academic communities in which "I" participate, and with "my" personal cognitive, affective and motivational preferences and experiences. Autoepistemology includes reflections about the relationship between psychological knowledge on race, on the one hand, and intellectual and cultural traditions, horizons, and practices, on the other hand. It is argued that theorizing on race is strengthened when addressing equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) as epistemic categories in all contexts of the research process. Epistemic EDI, which includes an interrogation of power, together with institutional and educational EDI, has the potential to dismantle racism in psychology. Background: Suicide is a major public health issue that increases the risk of suicide for those bereaved by suicide themselves. There is a lack of evaluation of the effectiveness and acceptability of suicide postvention services supporting those bereaved by suicide. Aims: This review aimed to assess evaluations of postvention services supporting those bereaved by suicide and the acceptability of methods of postvention. Methods: Searches of peer-reviewed literature identified 36 studies for inclusion. 22 studies evaluated specific postvention services, 14 evaluated models of postvention. Results: Using the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool, mixed-methods and qualitative postvention evaluation and acceptability research produce high-quality studies. Studies rated as low quality reflect poor reporting, rather than ineffective services. Conclusion: Further evaluation of community-based postvention services within the UK is needed. This would evidence that services in the UK are effective in supporting those bereaved by suicide. Lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender individuals (LGBT) are at high risk for suicide. This study aimed to examine an integrative psychological model of risk factors among LGBT individuals and explore the psychological pathways connecting social stigma, mental pain, and interpersonal characteristics to suicidal ideation and behavior (SIB) in this population. LGBT adults (N = 473) responded to an online questionnaire about stigma, mental pain, interpersonal characteristics, as well as suicidal ideation and behaviors. We found group differences between LGBT respondents in the study variables: Transgender people reported the highest levels of SIB and depression, closely followed by bisexuals. The association between stigma-related variables and SIB was mediated by depression, entrapment, and perceived burdensomeness. These results highlight the role of entrapment and burdensomeness in facilitating suicide risk among LGBT adults, as they may increase the damaging effect of negative societal stigma against LGBTs and thus, elevate the suicide risk in this population. In recent decades, a particularly keen interest has been demonstrated in program evaluation methods and sustainability transition studies. This is true especially given that a sustainable transition generates several new challenges for program evaluation. Therefore, adapting the methodological and practical program evaluation tools to this specific context is imperative. How can experts evaluate programs in such dynamic systems leading to perpetual structural changes? The available literature on the topic offers promising technical and methodological avenues but needs help finding relevant fields of application. The present article attempts to highlight some of these new challenges generated by the context of sustainability transition for the program evaluation discipline and to bridge the gap between the features of the sustainability transition context and how to integrate them into the program evaluation process. In this vein, a conceptual model is proposed through a systematic literature review to help experts design the evaluation of sustainability transition programs. An illustration of the proposed conceptual model is included to clarify its potential applications. Purpose: The primary aim of this research is to analyse the impact of family-supportive supervisor behaviours (FSSB) on the level of life satisfaction among individuals working in the police force. FSSB is informal support by supervisors, which is an emerging topic. Further, this study examines the intermediary role of career calling and job embeddedness in the association between supportive family behaviours of supervisors and life satisfaction. However, only limited studies have been conducted on how informal support by the supervisor performs for police personnel. This research aims to fill this gap. Design/methodology/approach: For the purpose of data collection from police personnel, we used a structured questionnaire. Variance-based partial least squares structural equational modelling (PLS-SEM) methodology was applied using SmartPLS software to investigate the conceptual model of the study. Additionally, using importance-performance map analysis (IMPA), we evaluate the importance and performance of each construct. Findings: The data analysis findings indicate that job embeddedness and career calling function as complete mediating factors in the association between FSSB and life satisfaction. Additionally, the study revealed that career calling is the most performing construct for promoting life satisfaction but is not perceived as important by the police department. Originality/value: According to the authors' knowledge, there has been no research in the Indian context that examines the effects of supervisor family supportive behaviours, especially among police. Research shows how blame shifting deemed unethical by evaluators leads to a damaging reputational backlash. Yet, scholars have not determined how evaluators judge if blame‐shifting messages are ethical. To fill this gap, we develop a conceptual model of evaluators' judgments of blame‐shifting ethicality, integrating insights from ethical decision‐making and the ethics of blame. The ethical evaluation of blame shifting is based on perceptions of target blameworthiness, the motives of the blamer, and message fairness. These three perceptions explain the evaluators' judgment of whether blame shifting is ethical. Furthermore, the model explains why at times evaluators fail to develop a detailed ethical evaluation of the message. Organizational blame shifting in these circumstances can be effective and yet unethical because evaluators do not cognitively process the relevant ethical factors. As the first conceptual framework for archival description on an international level, the conceptual model Records in Contexts has the potential to revolutionize the archival field. The responses from the archival community strongly suggest that Records in Contexts represents a paradigm shift. Since it has initiated discussions about the fundamentals of archival science, questions arise on how this new method harmonizes with the principle of provenance, which has long been a cornerstone of archival practice. The documentation and literature on Records in Contexts consist of contradictory statements regarding the principle of provenance. While it deliberately avoids redefining old concepts and principles, it also alludes to an enhanced and dynamic interpretation of provenance, closely aligned with the notion of context and characterized as an expansion of the principle of provenance. This article addresses this issue and analyzes how Records in Contexts addresses previous criticisms regarding the principle of provenance. It will be shown that new notions are not explicitly linked to the concepts of fonds, provenance, and original order. The paper examines the role of the principle of provenance within the conceptual model, demonstrating that the idea of expansion is a misleading characterization. Drawing on the 'dynamic capabilities' perspective, this study empirically investigates whether, or not, and how agile manufacturing contributes to sustainable business performance, including economic, environmental, and social performance. Building on the notion that dynamic capabilities indirectly improve organisational performance through modifying a firm's resources/processes, we argue that agile manufacturing treated as a dynamic capability requires transformation to result in sustainable business performance. Therefore, we hypothesise the mediating effects of two transformational capabilities, namely internal learning, and reconfiguration capabilities, on the agile manufacturing-sustainable business performance relationship. Partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was employed to explore the validity of the conceptual model and examine the hypotheses using survey data from 99 Italian manufacturers firms. The results show that internal learning fully mediates the relationship between agile manufacturing and economic performance and partially mediates the relationship between agile manufacturing and social performance. Also, the empirical findings indicate that reconfiguration fully mediates the relationship between agile manufacturing and economic/environmental performance and partially mediates the agile manufacturing-social performance relationship. The issue of the effects of travel on subjective well-being (SWB) has recently attracted increasing interest in transport studies. A common finding is that travel affects SWB indirectly through out-of-home activities. However, little is known about how to operationalize this relationship. In this study, we proposed a conceptual model and estimated structural equation models relating travel mode use and activities with multiple SWB dimensions, including affective components (positive affect and negative affect) and cognitive components (belongingness, achievement, and confidence in coping). We used data from a national mobility project in Japan (N = 13,000) to estimate the postulated models. We found that while public transport use enhanced the cognitive components of SWB, it also had a negative effect on the affective components of SWB. Car use affected SWB in a more complex pattern; it promoted SWB by enabling leisure activities but also reduced SWB dimensions of belongingness and achievement through shopping activities. Active travel modes did not have a clear effect on SWB; for example, walking to school was associated with increased belongingness, whereas walking for shopping negatively influenced belongingness. Other contributing factors, such as COVID-19 worry, car access, and the 'going-out' problem-solving style, were also found to influence multiple dimensions of SWB. Overall, our study showed how the effects of activities on multiple dimensions of SWB varied with different travel modes, thereby revealing the indirect effect of travel mode use on SWB via activities. Working parents often report difficulties in establishing optimal work–family balance, and such difficulties tend to yield poorer parent well‐being, parenting quality, and child well‐being. Despite advances in understanding of the long‐lasting and multifaceted benefits of purpose in life, up to this point, scant attention has been given to the concept of purpose as a practical means for promoting better parent well‐being and parenting quality, which also has far‐reaching impacts on child well‐being and trajectories. The goal of this paper is to discuss purpose as a potential catalyst and anchor for work–family balance and its associated outcomes of parenting well‐being, parenting quality, and child well‐being. Drawing from ecological systems, family systems, life course, and family resilience theories, this paper presents a conceptual model that depicts these relationships. This article introduces a new conceptual model for examining classism among adolescents and families. Classism refers to the discrimination that individuals experience because of their social class. For adolescents, social class refers to their family's social class and includes income, education, occupation, and position in society. Despite extensive research that has shown how social class is associated with adolescent development, there remains a gap in the knowledge about how classism might explain this association. To advance scholarship about classism among adolescents and families, I present a new model. This model integrates theories on (a) classism among adults, (b) discrimination among adolescents, (c) family science, (d) social class, and (e) intersectionality. The work–family conflict theory posits that due to limited time and energy, individuals inevitably experience work–family role conflict, resulting in increased role strain. Conversely, the work–family enrichment theory suggests that multiple role involvement in work and family can lead to positive effects on well‐being through a virtuous cycle, known as a positive spillover effect. The theoretical review integrates work–family research with stress theory, focusing on coping behaviors and proposing a new theoretical framework. The conceptual model highlights individuals' diverse coping efforts to alleviate role strain and suggests that these strategies can result in various outcomes, including both work–family conflict and enrichment. Intermittently open and closed lakes and lagoons (ICOLLs) are globally important estuarine systems that are separated from the ocean by a sand beach barrier or berm. The barrier may open or close naturally because of sand and sediment movement or be manually opened by estuarine managers in times of flooding. As intermittently closed systems, it is important to understand the potential for eutrophication and what are the best indicators. This study investigated water quality, sediment quality and benthic processes in four shallow ICOLLs in Sydney, Australia, that experience a range of nutrient loadings. Manly and Curl Curl Lagoons experience higher turbidity and concentrations of pelagic Chl-a compared to Dee Why and Narrabeen Lagoons. They also differ with respect to general morphology with Manly and Narrabeen deeper and more linear while Curl Curl and Dee Why are shallower and more circular. Relationships between nutrient loading and traditional water quality indicators of eutrophication such as chlorophyll-a, turbidity and dissolved oxygen appeared to be moderated by lagoon morphology and hydrology, which control the ratio of pelagic to benthic production and net accumulation of sediment organic matter. We found that all the lagoons investigated were net heterotrophic, with Narrabeen and Manly the least and the most heterotrophic respectively. Ratios of total organic carbon (TOC):benthic community respiration (CR) varied among lagoons and were likely related to the dominance of refractory organic matter in Narrabeen (~ 99%), and more labile organic matter in Manly and Curl Curl Lagoons (~ 90%). Benthic community respiration increased with nutrient loading rates across the lagoons, suggesting that benthic processes are a critical indicator of eutrophication in these shallow systems. In contrast to the generalised conceptual model of eutrophication in coastal systems whereby nutrient pollution causes a reduction in benthic primary productivity at the expense of increased pelagic primary productivity, our results suggest that benthic microalgal productivity in shallow ICOLLs plays an important role in buffering against eutrophication of the water column but may also contribute to organic enrichment of sediments. The accurate prediction of groundwater contamination is challenging due to uncertainties arising from the inherent heterogeneity of aquifers, inadequate site characterization, and limitations in conceptual mathematical models. These factors can result in an underestimation of contaminant concentrations. For effective contaminant prevention and control, it is important to estimate the probability of exceeding the allowed threshold for contaminant concentrations, known as the failure probability of groundwater contamination. Computing small failure probabilities using classical Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) requires computing a large number of samplers to converge to a stationary target value, which is time‐consuming. To address this, in this paper, we develop a novel approach for calculating small failure probabilities, known as subset simulation (SS) coupled with preconditioned Crank‐Nicolson Markov chain Monte Carlo (pCN‐SS), which combines subset simulation with preconditioned Crank‐Nicolson Markov chain Monte Carlo (pCN‐MCMC) to promote computational efficiency. We have tested the performance of the proposed algorithm in both a mathematical example and a numerical case study of groundwater contamination. The results demonstrate that pCN‐SS provides improved accuracy and efficiency for evaluating small failure probabilities for high‐dimensional groundwater contamination, specifically for hydraulic conductivity as a source of uncertainty. Compared to classical MCS and traditional SS, pCN‐SS requires fewer model evaluations but produces stable and accurate results. Background: Supplier involvement in product development has proven beneficial for companies and is a phenomenon researched in various domains. The definitions of supplier involvement represent points of origin and dimensions addressed in research. Still, there is no overview of these definitions and dimensions. This study reviews current definitions of the phenomenon of supplier involvement in product development and develops a conceptual model outlining its main dimensions. Methods: A systematic literature review is conducted to provide an overview of explicit definitions of supplier involvement in product development. By identifying the elements of these definitions, a conceptual model is developed to demonstrate how the phenomenon has been conceptualized in literature. Results: The results include an overview of 47 explicit definitions of supplier involvement in product development, a conceptual model including the identified dimensions, research gaps, and questions for future research. This study proposes a new method for dividing a catchment with the aim of testing it in the calibration process of a conceptual hydrological model. The new catchment division is reflected in having different land cover zones and the input data prepared in a semi-distributed way. This study also explores the impact of satellite soil moisture data when multi-objective calibration is used with the land cover zone divisions of a catchment while assigning different weights to runoff ranging from 0% to 100% (with a 0.05 step). The results indicate that using a weight range of 60% to 80% on a runoff provides optimal results, bettering both the runoff model's efficiency and soil moisture correlation. For further validation of the internal parameters and processes, the field capacity and evapotranspiration of the catchment were monitored. In regions with specially limited in-situ soil moisture data, satellite-derived data can contribute as an scarce additional component of the land cover division that can point out areas of the most reliable soil moisture information. Purpose: Celebrity endorsement has been profusely used to promote the consumption and purchase intention of diverse product categories; however, there is scarce research about whether celebrity endorsement effectiveness differs between brands and product categories. In this context, this study aims to answer this question: "Does consumer purchase behavior influenced by celebrity endorsement differ between brands and products?". Design/methodology/approach: To this end, a conceptual model of the influence of celebrity endorsement on consumer purchase behavior is examined through a multiple group structural equation modeling on two consumer samples (315 = brands; 308 = product categories). Samples were categorized as a celebrity promoting either a product category or a brand, and food products were selected as the product category for the investigation. Findings: Findings indicate differences in the effectiveness of celebrity endorsement between brands and product categories: credibility is the most relevant variable influencing consumer purchase intention for product categories, while credibility and congruence both influence consumer purchase intention for brands. Similarly, the celebrity recommendation of brands generates greater purchase intention due to celebrity congruence with the endorsed product. Originality/value: To the best of the authors' knowledge, the present research is one of the first endeavors to compare the effectiveness of celebrity brand endorsement versus celebrity product endorsement on purchase intention.
