Photocatalysis has been regarded as a kind of environmentally friendly advanced oxidation process to eliminate pollutants. In this work, Phosphorus-doped carbon nitride tube (PCN) was synthesized via a hydrothermal calcination method and applied to degrade tetracycline (TC) through combing with peroxydisulfate (PDS) under visible light irradiation. Experimental results showed that the optimized catalysts PCN-5 exhibited superior degradation performance and reusability for TC degradation. 96.4% TC could be degraded for optimal PCN-5 with 0.3 g·L−1 catalysts and 1.0 g·L−1 PDS under visible light within 60 min. In addition, the degradation rate constant for TC of PCN + PDS + Vis system was still above 85% after five uses. Radical trapping experiment indicating that O2·− is the dominant radical for TC degradation. The findings of this work revealed the potential application of the PCN + PDS + Vis system toward degrading contaminants in wastewater. HIGHLIGHTS Phosphorus-doped carbon nitride tube was successfully synthesized.; PCN-5 + PDS + Vis system exhibited excellent TC degradation performance and reusability.; O2·− is the dominant radical for TC degradation.

In this paper, to investigate the effect of loading method of pulse current on the tensile deformation behavior of AZ31B magnesium alloy sheet, the intermittent pulse current with short-time and high-frequency was introduced in uniaxial tensile tests and the influence of duty ratio and loading time of pulse current on the deformation behavior of AZ31B magnesium alloy sheet was discussed. The strain and temperature field distributions on the specimens were measured during the intermittent pulse electrically-assisted tension (IPEAT), and the microstructure and fracture morphology under different pulse current conditions were observed. Results shows appropriate pulse current parameters can effectively improve the elongation of AZ31B magnesium alloy sheet. The strain of the sample is closely related to temperature distribution. With the deformation of the sample, the temperature on the sample increases gradually and the temperature distribution is non-uniform along the tensile direction, resulting in an inhomogeneous strain distribution of the sample. In addition, grain growth and dynamic recrystallization were observed on the AZ31B magnesium alloy sheet in different degrees under intermittent pulse current. Fracture morphology analysis shows that the number of dimples and tearing edges increased on the fracture obtained under IPEAT. The microhardness analysis shows that when intermittent pulse current is applied in the tensile test, the hardness of the sheet may change. This research provides an effective idea for the forming process of magnesium alloy sheets, which can be used to form large size thin-walled sheet components, and can significantly improve the forming quality of the sheets.

The aim of this study was to investigate the role of SNHG9 in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods: The differential expression of SNHG9 in NSCLC was first explored by analyzing the TCGA dataset, followed by measuring the expression levels of SNHG9 in paired NSCLC and non-tumor tissues by RT-qPCR. Expression of miR-21 was also determined by RT-qPCR. Correlations were analyzed by linear regression. The interaction between miR-21 and SNHG9 was detected using RNA pull-down. The expression relationship between SNHG9 and miR-21 was analyzed by SNHG9 or miR-21 overexpression experiments. The effects of overexpression of SNHG9 on the methylation of miR-21 were analyzed by methylation-specific PCR (MSP). Cell proliferation was evaluated by CCK-8 assay.Results: By analyzing the TCGA dataset, we observed downregulation of SNHG9 in NSCLC, which was confirmed by measuring the expression levels of SNHG9 in paired NSCLC tumor tissues and non-tumor tissues from NSCLC patients involved in this study. MiR-21 was upregulated in NSCLC tumor tissues and inversely correlated with SNHG9 in cancer tissues but not in non-tumor tissues. The interaction between SNHG9 and miR-21 was predicted by bioinformatic analyses, which was further verified by RNA pull-down. In NSCLC cells, overexpression of SNHG9 led to downregulated miR-21 and increased methylation of miR-21 gene. In contrast, miR-21 did not affect the expression of SNHG9. In addition, overexpression of SNHG9 attenuated the enhancing effects of miR-21 on NSCLC proliferation.Conclusion: SNHG9 might downregulate miR-21 through methylation to suppress cancer cell proliferation.Keywords: SNHG9, non-small cell lung cancer, miR-21, methylation

1T MoS2 has recently attracted growing interests for energy storage due to the excellent conductivity, expanded layer space and extra exposed active sites. However, its application is still limited due to the complicated synthesis under harsh condition and poor structural stability. Herein, we report a novel MoS2/Cu nanowires (NWs) by microwave-assisted self-assembly of ultrathin 1T MoS2 onto Cu NWs with interconnected conductive network and robust one-dimensional (1D) structure. As anode material for LIBs, 1T MoS2/Cu NWs exhibits high capacity and stability owning to the enhanced electron transport and lithium ions intercalation. Meanwhile, the enriched nanovoids supply extended space for buffering the volume change and boosting electrolyte penetration during cycling process. Moreover, Cu doped MoS2 could also stabilize the 1T phase, leading to the excellent anode durability. It delivers a high reversible capacity of 570.6 mAh g−1 after 250 cycles at a current density of 0.5 A g−1. Enhanced rate performance is also achieved with excellent capacity retention of 914.6 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1 and 465.2 mAh g−1 at 2 A g−1, respectively.

In this paper, both experimental and theoretical studies were conducted to investigate the bonding interface formation, microstructure evolution, and the interface strength of an AA6061/AZ31B alloy cladding plate fabricated by explosive welding. The evolution of microstructures including adiabatic shear bands (ASBs) structure, recrystallized grains, and elongated grains were analyzed using optical microscope (OM), electron back scatter diffraction (EBSD), and transmission electron microscope (TEM). A model was also proposed to study the ASBs formation and recrystallized grains in the ASBs. In the study, during explosive welding, a periodic wavy bonding interface was observed and the formation of such an interface was found due to the periodic jetting caused by the high impact stresses at the impact points during welding. The ASBs were found formed along the directions where the stress waves were concentrated due to high energy accumulation. Near the bonding interface, many crystallized grains were found in the AZ31B alloy plate, while elongated grains were dominant in the AA6061 alloy plate. Difference in the crystal structure of the Al and Mg alloy was believed to be the reason causing such microstructure evolution difference. Nanoindentation tests on the ASBs showed that, due to the existence of fine grains resulted from the recrystallization in the ASBs structure, the hardness of the ASBs structure (1.22 GPa) was higher than that of its surrounding structure. The shear strength of the bonding interface of the explosively-welded AA6061/AZ31B cladding plate can reach up to 201.2 MPa.
