Intercultural communicative competence (ICC) is crucial for future workers in the global job market, where many feels unprepared to communicate effectively with culturally diverse colleagues. Therefore, university students must develop this skill to stay competitive. Experiential learning pedagogy, focused on ICC training, can enhance final-year students' abilities, offering an alternative to traditional teaching methods. To examine the effectiveness of experiential learning pedagogy in a redesigned ICC module for undergraduates, a multiple-group pre-test and post-test quasi-experimental design was adopted. Data were collected from 31 undergraduate students at two public universities in Indonesia. The module was redesigned to incorporate experiential learning pedagogy, providing various opportunities through face-to-face training workshops. Validated and reliable instruments measured students' experiential level with the pedagogy and their competencies in intercultural communication. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Participants showed a substantial enhancement in the Intercultural Communicative Competency Scale after the training workshop, as evidenced by higher post-test scores compared to pre-test scores. Additionally, the post-test data demonstrated a moderate improvement in participants' expectations from the pre-test for the experiential learning pedagogy. The findings prove the effectiveness of both the content and the pedagogy of the module. Salmon calcitonin (sCT) is a peptide hormone primarily used for osteoporosis due to the ability to regulate calcium and bone metabolism. However, its therapeutic efficacy through conventional routes of administration such as injection is limited by poor bioavailability, rapid degradation, and its invasive nature. Transdermal delivery systems, such as transfersome gels, offer a promising alternative by enhancing absorption through the skin. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the relative bioavailability and pharmacodynamic effects of transdermally administered sCT transfersomes gel in female rats. Pharmacokinetic tests of the transfersomes gel containing sCT were conducted on female Sprague-Dawley rats. A total of 10 rats were divided into 2 groups (n = 5 each) and received a single dose of sCT (4 µg/200 g). Group 1 was treated with transdermally administered transfersomes gel, and Group 2 received subcutaneously administered injection solution. As sCT concentration versus time was calculated, area under the curve (AUC) was determined. The pharmacodynamic analysis was conducted by counting the number of osteoclasts using TRAP staining and analyzing calcium levels in rats' tibia bone using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). In the pharmacokinetic test of transdermally administered sCT transfersomes gel, there was an increase in relative bioavailability by 144.32% compared to the subcutaneously administered injection solution. The results of pharmacodynamic analysis showed that sCT transfersomes gel increased calcium levels in rat tibia bone and reduced the number of osteoclasts in ovariectomized (Ovx) samples. Freshwater clams, better known as pokea clams in Indonesia, are among the important economy-generating resources whose population continues to decline in line with the increase in fishing activities. The present study aims to determine the age group, growth, mortality, and exploitation rate of pokea clams. This research was conducted in the estuary segment of Laeya River, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, from March 2016 to February 2017. Pokea samples were taken using a traditional fishing tool called Tangge. Data on age groups, growth, mortality (natural, fishing, and total) and exploitation rate were processed using the Bhattacharya method, the von Bertalanffy inverse function, the width converted catch curve, and Pauly's empirical formula, respectively, accommodated in the FiSAT II program version 3.0. The results showed that the male and female pokea were spread out in 1 and 2 size groups. Male pokea was dominated by 2 size groups, whereas the female pokea was dominated by 1 size group. The growth of the male and female clams followed the equations Lt = 83.89 - (83.89-0.025)[e.sup.-0.54t] and Lt = 77.38 - (77.38-0.025)[e.sup.-0.52t]. The male natural mortality (M), fishing mortality (F), and total mortality (Z) were 2.04 [y.sup.1] 0.91 [y.sup.1], and 2.94 [y.sup.1], respectively, whereas the natural mortality, fishing mortality, and total mortality of the female clams were 1.51 [y.sup.1], 0.90 [y.sup.1], and 2.41 [y.sup.1], respectively. In general, the male and female pokea clams in the Laeya River are overexploited, with the exploitation rates of 0.69 and 0.63, respectively. In today's digital age, social media (SM) offers convenient access to information, social connections, and various content. Nonetheless, the utilization of SM and the fear of missing out (FOMO) phenomenon profoundly influence children's emotional wellbeing (EW). This study seeks to investigate the impact of SM usage and FOMO on children's EW in the digital era. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involves elementary school students in Jakarta, Indonesia. Cluster sampling was utilized to select a sample of 265 students. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire designed to capture relevant variables. Analysis was performed using structural equation modeling (SEM) facilitated by the SMART-PLS 3.0 software. Findings revealed a significant significance value of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05), indicating that SM usage and FOMO have a positive and noteworthy effect on children's EW in the digital era. This study offers valuable insights for parents, educators, and child psychologists regarding the influence of SM on children's EW, thereby facilitating the formulation of more effective educational guidelines and strategies to assist children in managing their EW in the digital era. Institutional factors such as data standardization, data interoperability, and the ability to include other stakeholders (e.g., civil society) in ecosystems are now understood as crucial considerations in Open Government Data (OGD) implementation. However, most of the current understanding of institutional factors linked to OGD growth has evolved around highly digitalized and developed countries. This study aims to address this gap by investigating open data implementation in Indonesia, a developing country that has been an early advocate of OGD in the "Asia Pacific". In 2014, Indonesia implemented Satu Data Indonesia (One Data Indonesia) as a national initiative to promote OGD objectives. We employ institutional dimensions as the central theoretical lens to unpack the successes and impediments to Satu Data Indonesia's development. This research dataset is built on 16 expert interviews from government (n = 14) and private (n = 2) organizations that directly contribute to the growth of Satu Data Indonesia, qualitatively triangulated with documentary analysis of key policy and regulatory documents. These new data provide important insights into the complexity and challenges of nationwide OGD implementation and data-sharing. Our findings show that despite its being an early advocate, Indonesia's OGD initiative is still in the early stages of development, impeded by several policy and administrative bottlenecks. There are many landslide points on the Arso-Waris National road, so it is necessary to conduct research on the potential for landslides from the physical and shear strength properties. The analysis method uses Slope/W software from GeoStudio, using the Bishop and Fellenius analysis method. The results of the study on 4 points along the Arso-Waris section, showed that with a decrease in the value of the shear strength parameter, both the cohesion value (average decrease of 69.91%) and the value of the shear angle (average decrease of 92.77%) in the reverse analysis resulted in a decrease in the value of the safety factor score by 71.5% (Bishop Method) and 71.11% (Fellenius Method). The value of the smallest (critical) safety factor is 0,498, located at point 4 KM.105+193 in combination loading, by using the Fellenius method. Tami Weir is one of the weirs that has a vital role in human life. Sandtraps have an essential role in the operation of Tami bending. The objective of the evaluation and strategy for holding the Tami Weir sandtrap for irrigation water needs is to know the capacity of the Tami Weir sandtrap, the operation of the Tami Weir sandtrap, and the performance of the Tami Weir sandtrap. The method and technique for collecting data in this research is that data analysis is carried out after all the data has been collected. The results are adjusted to the purpose of writing and presented as conclusions. The results of this research are the capacity of the sandtrap during the flushing period, namely that a sediment volume of 73,134 m3 was obtained with a flushing time of fourteen (14) days. During deposition in mud pockets, the water speed will increase, and the deposition process will begin to decrease; at that time, the sediment will enter the channel. To overcome this situation, the sandtrap must be drained. The performance of the sandtrap at Tami Dam has decreased, where there is much alluvial sediment. The performance sandtrap at Tami Weir cannot operate correctly due to the large number of sediment deposits, which are as high as the drain gate's threshold, making hydraulic draining impossible. Over the past decade, internal crisis communication (ICC) has experienced significant advancements and transformations due to various factors, including technological developments, changing communication landscapes, and the increasing need for effective crisis management within organizations. Crises have impacted organizations differently worldwide, placing management under tremendous pressure to communicate their decisions to employees and provide encouraging messages amidst the uncertainty. Based on prior theoretical and empirical research, this paper explores the cause-and-effect relationships between the antecedents of internal crisis communication and their consequences from a managerial perspective in the workplace. This research proposes a new conceptual framework that integrates multiple key factors in internal crisis communication, offering a comprehensive approach to studying the interplay between antecedents and consequences. The framework specifically examines how three antecedents--safety culture, work engagement, and leadership effectiveness--influence and interact with two consequences: perceived organizational performance and employee commitment. By synthesizing these diverse elements into a cohesive model, this framework contributes to the literature on internal crisis communication in several ways. First, it enables the examination of both direct and indirect relationships between antecedents and consequences, potentially revealing new insights into the complexities of crisis communication dynamics. Second, it provides a structured approach for future empirical studies to test and validate these relationships in various organizational contexts. Lastly, it offers a research agenda to advance the study of internal crisis communication, aiding both academics and practicing managers in developing strategies to mitigate uncertainty during crises. The Minangkabau community, known for its devout religiosity, is unique in its adherence to a matrilineal kinship system, which differs from the patrilineal teachings of Islam. This article explains the relationship between customary law, Islam, Minangkabau society in Hamka's works.The findings not only show how the relationship between customs and religion manifest themselves in Minangkabau society, as shown in the works that are the subject of this study, but also include a critique of this relationship. Hamka argues through his works that the relationship embodied in the Minangkabau concept, namely syarak bersanding adat, adat bersanding kitabullah (religion alongside custom, custom alongside the Book of Allah), is not yet an ideal concept because it is not dominated by Sharia. As a result, the customary system still leads to discrimination, not only against outsiders but also among community members themselves, regarding the regulation of marriage and inheritance. This research aims to evaluate the ability of local material Kinang Jingkion as a substitute for conventional aggregates in pavement works in Yalimo Regency, Mountainous Papua Province. The use of this material is expected to overcome the challenge of the high cost of procuring construction materials in the region. Using the Marshall Test method on a Hot Rolled Sheet (HRS-Base) Thin Layer Asphalt Concrete (Lataston) hot mix asphalt mixture to test the quality of Kinang Jingkion material based on the General Specifications of Highways from the Ministry of Public Works. The results showed that the Optimal Asphalt Content (KAO) was 4.44%, with Marshall Test results showing a Stability of 801.6 kg, Flow 3.22 mm, Marshall Quotient (MQ) 252.7 kg/mm, Void in Mix (VIM) 4.65%, Void Filled with Bitumen (VFB) 75.6%, and Residual Stability 482.09 kg. These results indicate that Kinang Jingkion material has the potential to be used as a substitute for conventional aggregates in pavement construction, with performance that meets established standards. There is an opportunity to reduce dependence on expensive conventional materials and improve the efficiency of road construction projects in remote areas such as Yalimo Regency through the utilization of more affordable local resources. This study investigates the effect of audit quality, corporate governance, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on real earnings management. This study proxies corporate governance by audit committee size, independent commissioner proportion, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership. The population in this study is the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019-2021. The sampling method was carried out using a purposive sampling approach. This study obtained 236 observation data from 82 companies in Indonesia. The data was analyzed using regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that audit quality, managerial ownership and institutional ownership positively affect real earnings management. At the same time, the audit committee has a negative significant effect on real earnings management. However, the proportion of independent boards of commissioners and Corporate Social Responsibility disclosure does not affect real earnings management. This research shed light on the role of corporate governance mechanisms and CSR in real earnings management practices of Indonesian public companies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The anodization or thermal treatments applied to alloys of titanium and zirconium have a substantiated effect on the mixed-oxide layer formation compared to the naturally occurring one. A Ti–Zr 50%/50% alloy was chosen for a comparative study. Controlled, thermally treated, and anodized samples obtained with controlled procedures were analyzed in terms of morphological and compositional analysis (using SEM and EDX analysis) as well as for the determination of hardness variations. Substantial differences were observed depending on the applied functionalization method (compact of structured mixed-oxide nanotubes when the samples are subjected to the anodization procedure); there was an increase of more than six folds in the mixed-oxide layer hardness and D Shore scale, when subjected to thermal treatment, and hence, this lead to the conclusion that one may control the morphology, composition and/or the hardness of the mixed-oxide layer by applying one or another or a combination of functionalization methods.
