Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis besar pengaruh model Discovery Learning dari berbagai penelitian eksperimen yang diambil dari berbagai jurnal yang di publikasikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penilitian dalam penulisan ini adalah jenis penilitian meta-analisis. Penilitian yang dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan, meringkas, menelaah data penelitian yang sudah dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Untuk memilih populasi jurnal dengan mencari jurnal online pada Google Scholar. Kata kunci yang dipakai adalah “Discovery Learning” dan “Berpikir Kritis”. Dari output pencarian istilah kunci tadi memperoleh 10 artikel. Berdasarkan hasil uji effect size menggunakan uji Ancova, output yang tercantum dalam kolom Corrected Model yang diketahui Partial Eta Squared sebesar 0,489 dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,024. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa 0,024 berada diantara 0,2 d ? 0,5. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pretest dan posstest yang mempunyai selisih rata-rata sebesar 18. Dari hasil tersebut didapatkan bahwa Model Discovery Learning ditetapkan berpengaruh sedang terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

61. The Effectiveness of Sharia Economic Dispute Resolution Between Religious Court and National Sharia Arbitration Board

Abstract

Sharia economic dispute is a conflict of interest or loss for either party to the business or activities carried out by individuals, groups of people, or business entities that are legal or not legal entities to meet the needs of a commercial and non-commercial nature according to sharia principles. Furthermore, it can be resolved through litigation or judicial and non-litigation, or out-of-court lines. Resolution disputes through religious courts always takes a long time and complicated administration, but until now is it still in high demand by justice seekers. There is dispute resolution outside the judiciary, one of which is arbitration through National Sharia Arbitration Board (BASYARNAS) which can be the solution. This paper is a qualitative research study with a case was taken from Religious Court Class 1A Sleman and BASYARNAS Representative In Yogyakarta. The findings of this study provide the results dispute resolution in religious courts is more desirable because it has more executive powers than BASYARNAS, and also religious courts hold the absolute authority of sharia economic dispute resolution and religious courts spread throughout districts in Indonesia, so religious courts are very easy to find, in contrast to BASYARNAS whose existence is still in every capital of several provinces in Indonesia. Religious courts are superior because of the quality of judges, their presence in every district in Indonesia, and the culture of the people.

Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic limitations affected religion and soul in the community. This included prayer decisions such as, a Muslim observing the Friday prayer in a red zone during the pandemic chose religion, while one who conducts Dzuhur chose the soul. Therefore, this study used the analytical-descriptive method to explain the maqasid al-shari'ah perspective in the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) fatwas on the permissibility of replacing Friday prayers with Dzuhur during the pandemic. The results showed that this replacement contradicted the maqasid-masalih concept which views them as inseparable entities. It was against the comprehensiveness (shumuliyyah) principle as the main characteristic of maqasid al-shariah. This is because they lacked elasticity (murunah) which is religion main goal (al-daruriyyat al-khams). The issued MUI fatwas followed the maqasid al-shariah as comprehensive, dynamic, and elastic.

71. Documenting Local Food Knowledge at Hindukush: Challenges and Opportunities.

Abstract

Local knowledge on food heritage is an important asset of communities in Hindkush Mountains of Pakistan. Literature is scarce on recording local food knowledge (LFK) and the associated challenges; therefore, to partially fill this gap of knowledge, the current research study presents an overview of some of the prominent challenges that curb documenting local knowledge on food heritage among various communities in the region. Qualitative data were gathered through direct observations during ethnobotanical research work across the region. The current research reveals that the complex sociocultural and political circumstances, in one way or another, might be impacting the recording of the LFK in the study areas. For instance, I have found that the fragile security circumstances in the western belt of the country is one of the obstacles that do not fully allow researchers to get access to the local communities. The lack of educational understanding among the local communities, especially those who are living in rural areas, has been creating a gap of communication between researchers and the communities. It is worth mentioning that globalization and social change have also changed the perception of the people regarding the local food resources and attached local knowledge. In addition, the policy issues linked to social science research in the country also have an indirect effect on community-based research, which does not encourage researchers to explore meaningful research findings. Hence, to deal with all these challenges, in this article, I propose some possible solutions to protect the local food heritage and practically revitalize the local/traditional knowledge through future development programs, as this knowledge is very important for combating future food insecurity. Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi dewasa ini semakin meningkat dan melahirkan model-model bisnis baru yang menjanjikan keuntungan besar, salah satunya franchise yang sudah banyak tersebar di pelosok Indonesia. Banyak pemilik modal yang akhirnya menjadikan bisnis ini ladang investasi namun dalam praktek perjanjian kontraknya, isi klausula hanya ditetapkan sepihak oleh pemberi waralaba. Untuk mencegah terjadinya ketidakseimbangan dalam perjanjian kontrak waralaba maka dilakukan asas bebas berkontrak terutama pada asas itikad baik. Pada penulisan penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode library research yang menggambarkan secara sistematis, normatif, serta akurat dengan peninjauan dari Pasal 1338 KUH Perdata. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa kesesuaian pada Pasal 1338 Ayat (3) menyebutkan bahwa setiap orang memiliki hak untuk bebas berkontrak, dan realitanya pada perjanjian kontrak waralaba atau franchise seringkali isi klausula memberatkan salah satu pihak. Adanya itikad baik dapat menjadi pembatasan sebab setiap pihak diwajibkan untuk memenuhi hak dan kewajibannya.

76. Searching for Germane Questions in the Ethnobiology of Food Scouting

Abstract

In the past two decades, ethnobiologists have increasingly paid attention to the scouting and documentation of endangered corpora of local food elements and associated traditional knowledge. In this endeavor, food scouting encompasses the methodological tools used for mapping, inventorying, and documenting food and food-related resources. The growing body of research in this field is shedding light on the potentialities of these practices in obtaining baseline data regarding food heritage, which can, in turn, empower local communities in their dynamic understanding and safeguarding of this resource. While food scouting have been gaining an important role in current food and gastronomic ethnobiological research, as well as in other fields of study (e.g., geography and anthropology), little attention has been paid thus far to the methods and approaches underpinning these activities. To partially fill this gap, this contribution aims to tackle some methodological issues connected to the documentation of food and gastronomic elements embedded in local knowledge. Acknowledging the plethora of methods applicable in food scouting research, we describe three specific applications of food scouting to elicit data on local food diversity, highlighting their prospects and limitations. The first case addresses market surveys to obtain baseline data on the local food systems and their associated diversity, the second focuses on context-based freelisting methods for eliciting wild food plant uses, and the third discusses methods for scouting and inventorying artisanal food products. Acknowledging the contributions of Justin Nolan to the advancement of methods in the field of ethnobiology, we suggest that the methodological toolkit of food scouting should include ad hoc transdisciplinary platforms codesigned together with local food actors.

Abstract

The importance of having a good organizational culture that supports employee job satisfaction has fascinated both the business and academic world because of a tantalizing promise: culture can be fundamental to the enhancement of financial performance. This promise has led to growing interest for both researchers and practitioners in attempting to understand the influence of organizational culture on employees’ satisfaction and organizational performance. Even though the relationship between organizational culture and employee job satisfaction have gained attention in the literature, the majority of studies have been conducted within manufacturing organizations and tend to oversee the impact of culture on employee job satisfaction in a service-based environment. Thus, the main driving force of this study was to explore the role of organizational culture types in facilitating employee job satisfaction at Emerald Publishing Group. Interviews qualitative data analysis indicated that Emerald’s culture dominated by adhocracy and clan culture values. In addition, the findings provided evidence, which demonstrated that group and adhocracy organizational culture types play key roles in facilitating employee job satisfaction in a service-based environment.
