This paper presents the photophysical investigations of two organic compounds synthesised directly by the aminolysis depolymerisation of the waste poly(ethylene terephthalate) (rPET) with aromatic amines, i.e., aniline and 3-amino-N-hexyl-1,8-naphthalimide without use of a catalyst. The chemical structure was confirmed by 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR, as well as FT-IR. The thermal, electrochemical and optical studies of the obtained derivatives were performed. The presented compounds were thermally stable up to 360 °C, and the glass transition temperature (Tg) occurred for the compound with the 1,8-naphthalimide units. The electrochemical investigations of the synthesised compounds have revealed one oxidation process and two reduction processes for the compound with the 1,8-naphthalimide fragments. The tested derivatives were characterised by a low-lying highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) level (below –6.09 eV) and an energy-band gap (Eg) below 3.10 eV. The obtained molecules were absorbed in the range of 204 nm - 445 nm and emitted light from a purple to a green spectral region deepened on the used solvent with low quantum yields. The blends with poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (P3HT), which is used as a donor in the bulk heterojunction solar cells (BHJ), and amide derivative with 1,8-naphthalimide fragments were made, and the emission quenching of poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (P3HT) was recorded. This work describes a new well-defined, air-stable, phosphine free palladium(II) [Pd(L)Cl] (1) catalyst. This catalyst was utilized for N-alkylation of amines and indole synthesis where H2O was found to be the by-product. A broad range of aromatic amines were alkylated using this homogeneous catalyst with a catalyst loading of 0.1 mol%. Greener aromatic and aliphatic primary alcohols were utilized and a hydrogen auto-transfer strategy via a metal–ligand cooperative approach was investigated. The precursor of the antihistamine-containing drug molecule tripelennamine was synthesized on a gram scale for large-scale applicability of the current synthetic methodology. A number of control experiments were performed to investigate the possible reaction pathway and the outcomes of these experiments indicated the azo-chromophore as a hydrogen reservoir during the catalytic cycle. Cyclopropylmethyl sulfides react with N‐fluorosulfonimide (NFSI) or molecular iodine, enabling C−S cleavage to generate cyclopropylcarbinyl cations, which evolve through cyclopropane ring‐opening reactions into homoallyl cations suitable to react with nucleophiles present in the reaction media. This desulfurative cleavage of cyclopropylmethyl thioethers under non‐acidic conditions facilitates homoallylation of N‐based nucleophiles such as alkyl or aryl amines as well as sulfonimides through a one‐pot protocol in one or two steps depending on the nucleophile. A photoredox catalytic aliphatic C(sp3)–H thiazolation of tertiary amines was developed, affording the biologically valuable alkylated thiazoles via the aminomethylation of sulfonylthiazoles. The reaction is metal and oxidant free, with a broad substrate scope that tolerates both aliphatic and aromatic amines. The successful applications in the gram-scale reaction and late-stage functionalization of drug-like molecules in mild conditions under room temperature have qualified the protocol to be practical and cost-effective. A novel CVO/TiO2 heterojunction material has been prepared and used to catalyze the oxidative aromatization of amines and cyclohexenones under visible light irradiation, avoiding the use of noble metal catalysts and providing an environmentally friendly alternative for the synthesis of aromatic amines. The catalytic reaction uses oxygen as the final oxidant and provides good yields over a wide range of substrates. Notably, the recyclable heterogeneous semiconductor photocatalyst can be readily recovered and reused for at least four cycles. Arylamines, serving as crucial building blocks in natural products and finding applications in multifunctional materials, are synthesized on a large scale via an electrophilic nitration/reduction sequence. However, the current methods for aromatic C–H amination have not yet attained the same level of versatility as electrophilic nitration. Here we show an extensively investigated transition metal-free and regioselective strategy for the amination of nitrobenzenes, enabling the synthesis of 4-nitro-N-arylamines through C(sp2)-H/N-H cross-coupling between electron-deficient nitroarenes and amines. Mechanistic studies have elucidated that the crucial aspects of these reactions encompass the generation of nitrogen radicals and recombination of nitrobenzene complex radicals. The C(sp2)-N bond formation is demonstrated to be highly effective for primary and secondary arylamines as well as aliphatic amines under mild conditions, exhibiting exceptional tolerance towards diverse functional groups in both nitroarenes and amines (>100 examples with yields up to 96%). Notably, this C(sp2)-H/N-H cross-coupling exhibits exclusive para-selectivity. Direct radical C–H amination strategies have exhibited innovation, but challenges remain with C–H amination of electron-poor nitroarenes due to the essence of the electron-deficient nitrogen radical. Modification of membranes is widely used for altering their separation properties. In this study, the modification of PVDF nanofiber mat by deposition of polyamide layers was evaluated to improve dye recovery by means of forward osmosis process. The polyamide active layer was prepared by a reaction of cyclic aromatic amines, m-phenylenediamine, or piperazine, and trimesoylchloride. The modification progress was monitored by FTIR analysis, water uptake, nitrogen content, and grafting yields. Investigated membranes showed an excellent dye separation features with water flux and dye fluxes strongly related to type of applied amines and reaction time. The best obtained membrane demonstrated outstanding performance in forward osmosis; their water flux was 3.3 LMH and rejection rate of 97% for bromocresol green dye. A catalyst‐free approach has been introduced for the conjugate addition of aromatic amine nucleophiles to α, β‐unsaturated N‐methyl maleimide under microwave irradiation by utilizing water as a promoter. Catalyst‐free, environmentally friendly, short‐reaction time, green solvent, and mild reaction conditions are the advantages of this protocol. This reaction provided good to excellent yields with aromatic anilines as nucleophiles. A convenient Cu(I) Catalyzed three‐component coupling strategy for the synthesis of polysubstituted pyrroles is developed using simple and readily available building blocks like, 1, 3‐dicarbonyl compound, aryl amine, and β‐nitrostyrene. CuI has been rarely explored for the pyrrole ring synthesis and a comparative analysis of our current catalyst with a range of previously reported catalysts suggested that, CuI is one of the best catalysts for the multicomponent synthesis of polysubstituted pyrrole derivatives. Notably, this process has several advantages, including a simple and practical set‐up with hassle free reaction conditions, extensive substrate scope, short reaction time, high atom economy and environmentally favorable approach. This methodology provides an alternative approach to the highly substituted pyrroles and under optimized reaction conditions, polysubstituted pyrroles were formed in good to excellent yields. The textile industry, with its extensive use of dyes and chemicals, stands out as a significant source of water pollution. Exposure to certain textile dyes, such as azo dyes and their breakdown products like aromatic amines, has been associated with health concerns like skin sensitization, allergic reactions, and even cancer in humans. Annually, the worldwide production of synthetic dyes approximates 7 × 107 tons, of which the textile industry accounts for over 10,000 tons. Inefficient dyeing procedures result in the discharge of 15–50% of azo dyes, which do not adequately bind to fibers, into wastewater. This review delves into the genotoxic impact of azo dyes, prevalent in the textile industry, on aquatic ecosystems and human health. Examining different families of textile dye which contain azo group in their structure such as Sudan I and Sudan III Sudan IV, Basic Red 51, Basic Violet 14, Disperse Yellow 7, Congo Red, Acid Red 26, and Acid Blue 113 reveals their carcinogenic potential, which may affect both industrial workers and aquatic life. Genotoxic and carcinogenic characteristics, chromosomal abnormalities, induced physiological and neurobehavioral changes, and disruptions to spermatogenesis are evident, underscoring the harmful effects of these dyes. The review calls for comprehensive investigations into the toxic profile of azo dyes, providing essential insights to safeguard the aquatic ecosystem and human well-being. The importance of effective effluent treatment systems is underscored to mitigate adverse impacts on agricultural lands, water resources, and the environment, particularly in regions heavily reliant on wastewater irrigation for food production. The formation of amide bonds via aminolysis of esters by lipases generates a diverse range of amide frameworks in biosynthetic chemistry. Few lipases have satisfactory activity towards bulky aromatic amines despite numerous attempts to improve the efficiency of this transformation. Here, we report the discovery of a new intracellular lipase (Ndbn) with a broad substrate scope. Ndbn turns over a range of esters and aromatic amines in the presence of water (2 %; v/v), producing a high yield of multiple valuable amides. Remarkably, a higher conversion rate was observed for the synthesis of amides from substrates with aromatic amine rather than aliphatic amines. Molecular dynamics (MD) and quantum mechanical/molecular mechanical (QM/MM) studies showcase the mechanism for the preference for aromatic amines, including a more suitable orientation, shorter catalytic distances in the active site pocket and a lower reaction barrier for aromatic than for aliphatic amines. Synthesis of heteroaryl ortho‐substituted anilines is hitherto challenging. Herein we report scope and limitation of method for annulation of 1‐(2‐nitroaryl)pyrroles and derivatives of 2‐aminobenzyl alcohol to afford ortho‐substituted pyrrolo[1,2‐a]quinoxalin‐4‐yl anilines. Reaction conditions contained elemental sulfur as promoter, while were tolerant of a wide range of aryl and heteroaryl amines. Experimental and theoretical study of the regioselectivity and mechanism of polycyclic aromatic amine (PAA) electrochemical oxidation is important for designing nitrogen doped large π‐conjugated functional molecules. Herein, we used binary‐, ternary‐, and quaternary‐fused PAAs as electro‐oxidative reaction substrates to investigate the yield changes of carbazole and phenazine based aza‐helicene other than oligomers, which were obtained through pyrrole and pyrazine annulation pathways. Combined with the restrained electrostatic potential (RESP) and steric hindrance factor analysis of the substrate, the electron spin density distribution of free radical resonance hybrid and the spin population analysis of the atoms in the structure of each free radical tautomer indicate that the degree of delocalized dispersion of N free radical and the resulting change in the spin density distribution of C free radical tautomers determine the reaction regioselectivity. The potential charge of the K‐region, Bay‐region, and L‐region adjacent to the C(α)−C(β1) bond is higher than that of other regions within the molecule, and the charge in these high RESP regions tends to delocalize more strongly toward electron‐deficient N free radicals. Thus, the activity of N−C(α)−C(β1) region is increased, which supports the proposed free radical addition and free radical coupling mechanism for the electro‐oxidative reaction of PAA. Simple Summary: Pigments in insects have attracted the interest of scientists since the end of the 19th century. Most yellow, orange or red pigments belong to a family of pteridines which, in addition to their color, are fluorescent under UV light. The fluorescence of colorless intermediates in the pathway can help interspecific recognition. This review discusses, and integrates into one metabolic pathway, the different branches which lead to the synthesis of the pigments commonly found in the wings of butterflies and eyes and bodies of insects. Despite their function as pigments, some pteridine derivatives are important enzyme cofactors in all living organisms. Pteridines are important cofactors for many biological functions of all living organisms, and they were first discovered as pigments of insects, mainly in butterfly wings and the eye and body colors of insects. Most of the information on their structures and biosynthesis has been obtained from studies with the model insects Drosophila melanogaster and the silkworm Bombyx mori. This review discusses, and integrates into one metabolic pathway, the different branches which lead to the synthesis of the red pigments "drosopterins", the yellow pigments sepiapterin and sepialumazine, the orange pigment erythropterin and its related yellow metabolites (xanthopterin and 7-methyl-xanthopterin), the colorless compounds with violet fluorescence (isoxanthopterin and isoxantholumazine), and the branch leading to tetrahydrobiopterin, the essential cofactor for the synthesis of aromatic amino acids and biogenic amines. In this study, chitosan (CS)‐based macromolecular synergistic antioxidant CS‐UC‐TDAA containing carbon–carbon double bond, hindered phenol, and aromatic secondary amine was prepared by using CS,10‐undecenoyl chloride (UC), p‐aminobenzoic acid (AA), 3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2‐hydroxybenzaldehyde (TD) via esterification, Schiff base reaction, and acylation reaction. The molecular structure of CS‐UC‐TDAA was characterized by fourier transform infrared, 1H NMR, and elemental analysis. The effects of macromolecular synergistic antioxidant CS‐UC‐TDAA, small molecular antioxidant TDAA, commercial antioxidant 4020, and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) on the antiaging properties of styrene‐butadiene rubber (SBR)/SiO2 composites were systematically studied by accelerated thermo‐oxidative aging test, thermogravimetric (TG) analysis, and methanol Soxhlet extraction experiment. The experimental results show that CS‐UC‐TDAA has more outstanding thermo‐oxidative aging resistance, thermal stability, and solvent extraction resistance in SBR/SiO2 composites than TDAA, 4020, and BHT. The macromolecular synergistic antioxidant CS‐UC‐TDAA endows SBR/SiO2 composites with more durable antiaging performance, which is attributed to the synergistic antioxidant effect of its hindered phenol and aromatic secondary amine groups. Additionally, its resistance to migration and extraction is facilitated by the crosslinking of the carbon–carbon double bond with the rubber and its substantial molecular weight. Computational techniques, such as quantitative structure–property relationships (QSPRs), can play a significant role in exploring the important chemical features essential for the degree of sorption or sludge/water partition coefficient (Kd) towards sewage sludge of wastewater treatment process to evaluate the environmental consequence and risk of pharmaceuticals. The current research work aims to construct a predictive QSPR model for the sorption of 148 diverse active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in sewage sludge during wastewater treatment. For the development of the model, we employed easily computable 2D descriptors as independent variables. The model has been developed following the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development's (OECD) guidelines. It has undergone internal and external validation using a variety of methodologies, as well as been tested for its applicability domain. A measure of hydrophobicity, i.e., MLOGP2, showed the most promising contribution in modeling the sorption coefficient of APIs. Among other parameters, the number of tertiary aromatic amines, the presence of electronegative atoms like N, O, and Cl, the size of a molecule, the number of aromatic hydroxyl groups, the presence of substituted aromatic nitrogen atoms and alkyl-substituted tertiary carbon atoms were also found to be influential for the regulation of solid water partition coefficient of APIs during the wastewater treatment process. The statistical validity tests performed on the developed partial least squares (PLS) model showed that it is statistically evident, robust, and predictive (R2Train = 0.750, Q2LOO = 0.683, Q2F1 = 0.655, Q2F2 (or R2Test) = 0.651). Aromatic amines, crucial organic entities, exist in drugs, natural products, organic materials, and catalysts. The introduction of amines to aromatics without using metal catalysts and chemical oxidants poses a formidable challenge. Recent years have witnessed extensive developments in the oxidative aromatization of aniline. In this context, we present the electrochemical cross-dehydrogenation aromatization (ECDA) reaction involving cyclohex-2-enone and amines, culminating in the synthesis of 1,4-phenylenediamine, devoid of supplementary metal catalysts and chemical oxidants. The broad applicability of the reaction substrate is underscored, demonstrating its compatibility with select natural and pharmaceutical molecules, thus showing considerable potential for the synthesis of bioactive compounds. The research focused on the photolysis of ortho‐ and para‐substituted aryl azides and the preparation of 2‐arylamino‐substituted azepines. The best results were achieved in 1,4‐dioxane for ortho‐substituted azides and in ethanol for para‐substituted azides, respectively. Two blue-emitting materials, 4-(12-([1,1′:3′,1″-terphenyl]-5′-yl)chrysen-6-yl)-N,N-diphenylaniline (TPA-C-TP) and 6-([1,1′:3′,1″-terphenyl]-5′-yl)-12-(4-(1,2,2-triphenylvinyl)phenyl)chrysene (TPE-C-TP), were prepared with the composition of a chrysene core moiety and terphenyl (TP), triphenyl amine (TPA), and tetraphenylethylene (TPE) moieties as side groups. The maximum photoluminescence (PL) emission wavelengths of TPA-C-TP and TPE-C-TP were 435 and 369 nm in the solution state and 444 and 471 nm in the film state. TPA-C-TP effectively prevented intermolecular packing through the introduction of TPA, a bulky aromatic amine group, and it showed an excellent photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 86% in the film state. TPE-C-TP exhibited aggregation-induced emission; the PLQY increased dramatically from 0.1% to 78% from the solution state to the film state. The two synthesized materials had excellent thermal stability, with a high decomposition temperature exceeding 460 °C. The two compounds were used as emitting layers in a non-doped device. The TPA-C-TP device achieved excellent electroluminescence (EL) performance, with Commission Internationale de L′Eclairage co-ordinates of (0.15, 0.07) and an external quantum efficiency of 4.13%, corresponding to an EL peak wavelength of 439 nm. The accurate prediction of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) is essential for comprehensive drug safety evaluation. Pre-trained deep chemical language models have emerged as powerful tools capable of automatically learning molecular structural features from large-scale datasets, showing promising capabilities for the downstream prediction of molecular properties. However, the performance of pre-trained chemical language models in predicting ADRs, especially idiosyncratic ADRs induced by marketed drugs, remains largely unexplored. In this study, we propose MoLFormer-XL, a pre-trained model for encoding molecular features from canonical SMILES, in conjunction with a CNN-based model to predict drug-induced QT interval prolongation (DIQT), drug-induced teratogenicity (DIT), and drug-induced rhabdomyolysis (DIR). Our results demonstrate that the proposed model outperforms conventional models applied in previous studies for predicting DIQT, DIT, and DIR. Notably, an analysis of the learned linear attention maps highlights amines, alcohol, ethers, and aromatic halogen compounds as strongly associated with the three types of ADRs. The demand for natural dyes is increasing due to the negative environmental impacts of synthetic color. In fact, customers are becoming more concerned about their health and the environmentally friendly products. The aim of this research is to disclose the dye extraction process using the ultrasonic method and eco‐friendly dyeing of organic cotton knitted fabric. Initially, 10 g of Syzyguim cumini leaf powder was dissolved in 150 mL of purified water maintaining a 1 : 15 M : L ratio to extract the color. After that, the extracted dye solution was added to coloration bath following the M : L ratios of 1 : 16, 1 : 12, and 1 : 8 for producing dark, medium, and light shades, respectively. Post mordanting was done using natural lemon juice for colorfastness improvement. The color attributes were revealed by the spectrophotometric analysis. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to comprehend the successful relationship that exists among SCL dyes and organic cotton fibers, and the TGA analysis confirmed that dyed fabric is more stable than undyed fabric. Moreover, the colored sample's pH, formaldehyde level, and presence of forbidden Azo groups (aromatic amines) were examined. This study describes the palladium‐catalyzed chemoselective amination of chloro(hetero)aryl triflates in the C−Cl bond for the first time. A newly designed and synthesized alkyl‐pyrazole‐based phosphine ligand, L26 (BirdPhos), which is featured with the pyrazole ligand core and the cyclohexyl group at the C3 and C5 positions, was key to the success of this reaction. A variety of chloro(hetero)aryl triflates coupled with aromatic, aliphatic, and heterocyclic amines smoothly afforded the corresponding products up to 97% yields with general chemoselectivity (>99%) in the C−Cl bond. Carbon substituted cobalt bis(dicarbollide) alkyl halides [(1-X-(CH2)n-1,2-C2B9H10)(1,2-C2B9H11)-3,3′-Co]Me4N (X = Br, I; n = 1–3) are prepared in high yields (>90%) from their corresponding alcohols without side skeletal substitutions. These species offer access to the synthesis of aromatic cobalt bis(dicarbollide) amines, however only for particular terminal halogen substitution, the propylene pendant arm, and under appropriately controlled reaction conditions. Thus, the compounds substituted at cage carbon atoms with a propylene linker and terminal aromatic amine groups could be prepared. In other cases, numerous irregular reaction pathways occur, undoubtedly as a consequence of the bulky anionic boron cage in close proximity to the reaction site. Among them, an unusual intramolecular hydroboration forming rigidified carbon-to-boron bridged isomeric anions with an asymmetric structure that correspond to formulae [(1,8′-μ-C2H4)-(1,2-C2B9H10)(1′,2′-C2B9H10)-3,3′-Co]− and [(1,7′-μ-C2H4)-(1,2-C2B9H10)(1′,2′-C2B9H10)-3,3′-Co]− is described herein and the former isomer is structurally characterized. This product with a restrained geometry is widely accessible through nucleophile and/or thermally induced decomposition of (pseudo)halides attached to the cage via an ethylene linker. Surprisingly enough, also doubly bridged isomeric species [(1,8-μ-C2H4-1,2-C2B9H9)2-3,3′-Co]− and [(1,7-μ-C2H4-1,2-C2B9H9)2-3,3′-Co]− are available in good yield using these methods. Furthermore, other more typical side reactions are discussed, i.e. nucleophilic reactions of propyl halides with Me3N formed apparently by disproportionation of Me4N+ at higher temperatures or with pyridine used as a base. The active sites of CuO@rGO composite nanomaterials are resolved by the synthetic modes that enhance carrier mobility. In this study, a legitimate composite nanomaterial of cupric oxide with reduced graphene oxide (CuO@rGO) has been synthesised by in-situ chemical reduction of a mixture of graphene oxide and CuO nanoparticles. The graphene oxide nanosheet and CuO nanoparticle respectively have been prepared by the modified Hummers method and sol–gel method (using healthy and environment-friendly D-dextrose as a reducing agent). The average size 24.5 nm (FESEM), hydrodynamic size 412.8 nm (DLS) and 001 index FCC pattern (XRD) prove the well-defined CuO nanoparticles. FT-IR spectra (presence of C=C, C–O–C and R–O bond), FESEM morphology and EDX blueprint (maximum Cu2+ ions) are strongly establishing the formation of the nanocomposite. TEM morphology also exhibits the well incorporation of CuO nanoparticles (size ≈ 22 nm and d ≈ 0.25 nm) with rGO nanosheets. In reduction (pale-yellow nitroarenes changed to colourless), the catalytic efficiency (%) of an active surface of CuO@rGO is 76.5, 78.4, 75.2 and 65.4 for nitrobenzene (20 min, λmax = 235 nm), p-nitroaniline (10 min, λmax = 306 nm), o-nitroaniline (15 min, λmax = 284–294 nm), and 2,4-DNPH (30 min, λmax = 300 nm) respectively up to five cycles in the presence of aqueous NaBH4 (reductive agent). The reductions are kinetically favourable and follow pseudo first-order kinetics with rate constant (min−1) are 6.72 × 10−2, 4.75 × 10−2, 2.75 × 10−2, and 6.23 × 10−3 for nitrobenzene, p-nitroaniline o-nitroaniline and 2,4-DNPH, respectively. This work seeks to evaluate the antibacterial properties of the compounds and create imine-linked benzothiazine derivatives using a novel, eco-friendly ultrasonic technique. Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were utilized to assess the synthetic compounds, SBIa-e, for their antibacterial activity. All compounds were soluble in organic solvents but insoluble in water, with yields ranging from 68 to 77%. The molecules showed stretching vibrations corresponding to various functional groups. The presence of amine hydrogen (2.0, 7.0 ppm), aliphatic protons (2.6-4.3 ppm), imine hydrogen (8.0-8.5 ppm), and protons of the aromatic ring (6.8-7.9 ppm) was indicated by the 1HNMR spectra. Both the bacterial strains were all susceptible to the antibacterial action of the compounds, which showed dose-dependent effects. When the compounds were compared to gram-positive bacteria, it was discovered that the former had greater effectiveness than the latter. Reducing nitro compounds to amines is a fundamental reaction in producing valuable chemicals in industry. Herein, the synthesis and characterization of a zirconium metal‐organic framework‐supported salicylaldimine‐cobalt(II) chloride (salim‐UiO‐CoCl) and its application in catalytic reduction of nitro compounds are reported. Salim‐UiO‐Co displayed excellent catalytic activity in chemoselective reduction of aromatic and aliphatic nitro compounds to the corresponding amines in the presence of phenylsilane as a reducing agent under mild reaction conditions. Salim‐UiO‐Co catalyzed nitro reduction had a broad substrate scope with excellent tolerance to diverse functional groups, including easily reducible ones such as aldehyde, keto, nitrile, and alkene. Salim‐UiO‐Co MOF catalyst could be recycled and reused at least 14 times without noticeable losing activity and selectivity. Density functional theory (DFT) studies along with spectroscopic analysis were employed to get into a comprehensive investigation of the reaction mechanism. The significant medicinal and pharmacological facts about chromenes (benzopyran) nucleus prompted us to focus on constructing unique chromenes with biological value. New chromene derivatives 2–15 were synthesized, and their antibacterial effectiveness was studied. The reaction of the 2-amino-4H-chromene derivative 1 with a variety of reagents such as acetic anhydride, formic acid, chloroacetyl chloride, cyclopentanone, ethyl acetoacetate, diethyl malonate, aldehydes, and isatin produced derivatives 2–13. Compound 1 was also treated with aromatic amines such as p-toluidine and/or benzene-1,4-diamine with formaldehyde, yielding derivatives 14 and 15, respectively; spectral techniques were used to confirm the predicted structures of all compounds. The formation of hazardous substances, heterocyclic aromatic amines (HAAs) and two representative advanced glycation end products (AGEs), Nε-carboxymethyl-lysine (CML) and Nε-carboxyethyl-lysine (CEL) in five kinds of fish with different fat contents during thermal processing was investigated. The results indicated that HAAs, AGEs produced is related to the lipids in varying degrees. The variation of key precursors were examined to explain the relationship between fat oxidation and molecular pathway of HAAs and AGEs formation. Six novel palladium N-heterocyclic carbene complexes bearing different ancillary ligands such as pyridine, 1-methylimidazole, 4,5-dimethylthiazole and 3-bromoquinoline have been successfully prepared in a one-step process. These complexes were used as pre-catalysts in the Buchwald–Hartwig amination of cyclic secondary amines with aryl chlorides. A range of cyclic secondary amines were tolerated to a wide variety of aryl chlorides in presence of 1 mol% catalyst loading under mild conditions. Under the tested reaction conditions, the expected N-arylamines were obtained in moderate to high yields. Molecules containing sulfonamide groups possess significant bioactivity in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry, showcasing valuable anti-bacterial and anti-parasitic properties. In recent years, the immobilization of metallic catalysts, including copper, palladium, nickel, and zinc, onto the surface of Fe3O4 nanoparticles modified with ligands, has emerged as an effective and captivating catalytic strategy for enhancing chemical reactions. In this study, we successfully fabricated a novel and highly efficient magnetically recoverable nanocatalyst [Fe3O4@Dopamine-PO-CuBr2] by immobilizing CuBr2 on magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles coated with dopamine. This nanocatalyst was utilized for the synthesis of N-aryl sulfonamides via a convenient one-pot three-component reaction involving aryl boronic acids, aryl amines, and DABSO as the SO2 source. The spectroscopic techniques employed thoroughly validated the successful preparation of the [Fe3O4@Dopamine-PO-CuBr2] nanocomposite.Notably, our research adds significant scientific value by presenting a well-designed nanocatalyst that efficiently promotes the synthesis of N-aryl sulfonamides. Human β3-adrenoceptor (β3AR) agonists were considered potential agents for the treatment of metabolic disorders. However, compounds tested as β3AR ligands have shown marked differences in pharmacological profile in rodent and human species, although these compounds remain attractive as they were successfully repurposed for the therapy of urinary incontinence. In this work, some biarylamine compounds were designed and tested in silico as potential β3AR agonists on 3-D models of mouse or human β3ARs. Based on the theoretical results, we identified, synthesized and tested a biarylamine compound (polibegron). In CHO-K1 cells expressing the human β3AR, polibegron and the β3AR agonist BRL 37344 were partial agonists for stimulating cAMP accumulation (50 and 57% of the response to isoproterenol, respectively). The potency of polibegron was 1.71- and 4.5-fold higher than that of isoproterenol and BRL37344, respectively. These results indicate that polibegron acts as a potent, but partial, agonist at human β3ARs. In C57BL/6N mice with obesity induced by a high-fat diet, similar effects of the equimolar intraperitoneal administration of polibegron and BRL37344 were observed on weight, visceral fat and plasma levels of glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides. In order to enrich the flavor variety of fish sausage, the effects of different additions of durian, egg white and TG enzyme on the color, texture, gel strength and sensory scores offish sausage were investigated by single factor test and orthogonal test using minced goldfish as the main raw material, and on the basis of the investigations, the effects of different sterilization temperatures on the flavor offish sausage were investigated. The results show that the durian flavor is prominent, the color is bright, and the durian is elastic when the addition of durian is 7%, TG enzyme is 0.4%, and egg white is 1%. Aroma components, nitrogen oxides, aromatic amines, short-chain alkanes, methyl groups, alcohols and other substances, which form odor profiles offish sausage at different sterilization temperatures were determined by electronic nose. A total of 26 volatile substances, including esters, aldehydes and aromatics, were identified in fish sausage at different sterilization temperatures. When the sterilization temperature is 90 t, the content of benzaldehyde in fish sausage can be significantly reduced,and the content of lipid substances can be enriched to reduce the taste offish sausage. BackgroundMelamine, melamine derivatives, and aromatic amines are nitrogen-containing compounds with known toxicity and widespread commercial uses. Nevertheless, biomonitoring of these chemicals is lacking, particularly during pregnancy, a period of increased susceptibility to adverse health effects.ObjectivesWe aimed to measure melamine, melamine derivatives, and aromatic amine exposure in pregnant women across the United States (U.S.) and evaluate associations with participant and urine sample collection characteristics.MethodsWe measured 43 analytes, representing 45 chemicals (i.e., melamine, three melamine derivatives, and 41 aromatic amines), in urine from pregnant women in nine diverse ECHO cohorts during 2008-2020 (N = 171). To assess relations with participant and urine sample collection characteristics, we used generalized estimating equations to estimate prevalence ratios (PRs) for analytes dichotomized at the detection limit, % differences (%Δ) for continuous analytes, and 95% confidence intervals. Multivariable models included age, race/ethnicity, marital status, urinary cotinine, and year of sample collection.ResultsTwelve chemicals were detected in >60% of samples, with near ubiquitous detection of cyanuric acid, melamine, aniline, 4,4'-methylenedianiline, and a composite of o-toluidine and m-toluidine (99-100%). In multivariable adjusted models, most chemicals were associated with higher exposures among Hispanic and non-Hispanic Black participants. For example, concentrations of 3,4-dichloroaniline were higher among Hispanic (%Δ: +149, 95% CI: +17, +431) and non-Hispanic Black (%Δ: +136, 95% CI: +35, +311) women compared with non-Hispanic White women. We observed similar results for ammelide, o-/m-toluidine, 4,4'-methylenedianiline, and 4-chloroaniline. Most chemicals were positively associated with urinary cotinine, with strongest associations observed for o-/m-toluidine (%Δ: +23; 95% CI: +16, +31) and 3,4-dichloroaniline (%Δ: +25; 95% CI: +17, +33). Some chemicals exhibited annual trends (e.g., %Δ in melamine per year: -11; 95% CI: -19, -1) or time of day, seasonal, and geographic variability.DiscussionExposure to melamine, cyanuric acid, and some aromatic amines was ubiquitous in this first investigation of these analytes in pregnant women. Future research should expand biomonitoring, identify sources of exposure disparities by race/ethnicity, and evaluate potential adverse health effects.

A facile intramolecular [1,5] hydride transfer reaction in a Dihydroquinazolin‐4(1H)‐one moiety synthesized from anthranilamide, glutaraldehyde, and aromatic amines is described in isopropanol medium in the presence of catalytic HCl. Based on that, we have designed a simple, efficient strategy for conjugating quinazolinone, a pharmaceutically active moiety, with an aromatic amine through an aliphatic spacer. In this report, we describe the use of amino‐λ3‐iodanes in the electrophilic amination of arylboronic acids and boronates. Iodine(III) reagents with transferable amino groups, including one with an NH2 group, were synthesized and used in the amination, allowing the synthesis of a wide range of primary and secondary (hetero)arylamines. Mechanistic studies by DFT calculations indicate that the reaction proceeds through an electrophilic amination process from a tetravalent borate complex with a B−N dative bond. A total synthesis strategy was developed for the synthesis of luotonin A, B and their analogues using synergistic FeCl3/KI‐catalyzed oxidative cyclization. This protocol utilizes cheap and widely available N‐propargyl 2‐methyl‐quinazolinones and arylamines under mild conditions, and it has a wide substrate scope and high atom economy. Different natural products (luotonin A, B and derivatives) can be synthesized via a unique switchable approach. By using easily accessible heterocyclic enamines, acetaldehyde (or formaldehyde) and primary amines as suitable precursors, a water-assisted three-component synthesis of new 3-oxothiazolo[3,2-c]pyridimines has been efficiently achieved in mild and semi-aqueous medium. All the cyclization reactions under optimized and catalyst-free conditions furnish the target compounds in 40–100% yields. Although cyclizations with arylamines in the presence of formaldehyde yield moderate to good yields, certain cyclizations involving aryl amines in the presence of acetaldehyde do not result in any product formation. Structural characterization of all the products were performed by means of FT-IR,1H and 13C NMR and HRMS analyses. Modern science and technology demand a low glass transition temperature, yet one tailored to specific thermoset needs and specific to individual hardener applications. Two novel, nonterminal liquid crystalline epoxy resins (LCER) were synthesised, with their structures characterized via nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass spectrometry (MS), and elemental analysis. Their liquid crystalline nature and thermal properties were determined using polarized optical microscopy (POM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). A set of seven aromatic amines serving as curing agents was used to perform curing in fourteen different systems in order to assess the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the obtained polymer networks using DSC. The liquid crystalline elastomers were obtained with vitrification occurring in a low temperature range (−10–40 °C), with a more predictable outcome for amines with two aromatic rings in the structure than with one. Moreover, the resin with a core consisting of four aromatic rings produces networks with higher Tg than the three-aromatic resin. The use of nonterminal LCER allowed the lowering of the glass transition temperature of the polymers to more than 70 °C compared to a terminal analogue. Benzoxazole‐linked covalent organic frameworks (BO−COFs), despite their exceptional chemical stability, are still in their infancy. This is primarily because the current prevalent methods require the use of special ortho‐hydroxyl‐substituted aromatic amines as monomers. Herein, we report an innovative strategy to access BO−COFs directly from imine‐linked COFs (Im−COFs) without pre‐embedded OH groups, using a two‐step sequential oxidation/cyclization process. The two‐step process included the oxidation of Im−COFs into amide‐linked COFs, followed by a copper‐catalyzed oxidative cyclization. Five representative BO−COFs were synthesized with retained crystallinity and high oxidization efficiency, offering the potential to convert a significant portion of Im−COFs into BO−COFs. Seven new thiophene hydrazide derivatives were prepared through the coupling of active methylene of 2-cyano-N'-(thiophen-2-ylmethylene)acetohydrazide with diazonium salts of aromatic amines, and heterocyclic amines at 0–5°C in pyridine. The new hydrazonothiophene derivatives could exist in two possible tautomeric forms, which are the enol and keto tautomer. The optimized molecular structures and calculation of the total energies of both tautomers revealed that the enol tautomer is energetically lower than its corresponding keto form. A prediction study for the biological activities of the newly synthesized thiophene hydrazide derivatives were performed via using PASS online software, which displayed promising activities in the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder, as phosphodiesterase X inhibitor, and as sarcosine oxidase inhibitor. In addition, DFT calculations showed that the new hydrazonothiophene derivatives containing CH3, OCH3, and COOH groups have chemical activity among all the newly synthesized compounds due to their lower band gaps. This study investigates the biodegradation of Reactive Red 141 (RR 141), an azo dye prevalent in the textile industry, by bacteria isolated from activated sludge in a textile effluent treatment plant. RR 141, characterized by nitrogen–nitrogen double bonds (-N=N-), contributes to environmental issues when improperly disposed of in textile effluents, leading to reduced oxygen levels in water bodies, diminished sunlight penetration, and the formation of potentially carcinogenic and mutagenic aromatic amines. This research focuses on identifying bacteria from activated sludge with the potential to decolorize RR 141. Microbiological identification employs MALDI-TOF-MS, known for its precision and rapid identification of environmental bacteria, enhancing treatment efficiency. Results highlight Bacillus thuringiensis and Kosakonia radicincitans as the most promising strains for RR 141 decolorization. Analysis of micro-organisms in activated sludge and database exploration suggests a correlation between these strains and the decolorization process. It is worth noting that this is the first report on the potential use of K. radicincitans for azo dye decolorization. Three distinct culture media—BHI, MSG, and MS—were assessed to investigate their impact on RR 141 decolorization. Notably, BHI and MSG media, incorporating a carbon source, facilitated the bacterial growth of both tested species (B. thuringiensis and K. radicincitans), a phenomenon absent in the MS medium. This observation suggests that the bacteria exhibit limited capability to utilize RR 141 dye as a carbon source, pointing towards the influence of the culture medium on the discoloration process. The study evaluates performance kinetics, decolorization capacity through UV-VIS spectrophotometry, potential degradation pathways via HPLC-MS analysis, phytotoxicity, and enzymatic activity identification. B. thuringiensis and K. radicincitans exhibit potential in decolorizing RR141, with 38% and 26% removal individually in 120 h. As a consortium, they achieved 36% removal in 12 h, primarily through biosorption rather than biodegradation, as indicated by HPLC-MS analyses. The azo compounds have a variety of applications including dyes, pigments, and pharmaceuticals. The preparation and characterization of different azo compounds is an important area of research in organic synthesis. The azo compound synthesis typically involves the diazotization process for coupling between an aromatic amine and another aromatic compound containing an activating group such as -OH, -NH2, or -NR2. The reaction conditions must be carefully controlled to prevent side reactions, such as the formation of unwanted byproducts. Beta-aminocarbonyl compounds are important intermediates produced from Mannich condensation. In this research, benzaldehyde, para-hydroxy acetophenone or para-nitro acetophenone were reacted with a various of primary aromatic amines to give compounds (1-7) and (8-14), respectively. The chemical formulas of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by conducting some physical and spectroscopic measurements, such as, melting points, IR and H1-NMR spectrum. After testing the biological activity of some of the synthesized compounds (8,10,11,13) using Gram-positive (Streptococcus, and Staphylococcus aureus), Gram-negative (Klebsiella spp., and Escherichia coli) bacteria, as well as yeast strains, were chosen for this investigation (candidan albicans). Heterocyclic amines are a kind of harmful substance produced by a series of complex reactions in meat prod-ucts at high temperature. The generation of such harmful substances mainly depends on the heating temperature, heating time, heating method and the kind of meat. When heterocyclic amines are taken into the body and activated by cytochrome P450 enzymes, they are transformed into genotoxic metabolites by sulfotransferase and acetyl transferase. The main bioactive compounds contained in natural spices, such as phenols, amino acids, sugars and alkaloids, determine the final function of natural spices. Adding some natural spices into meat products can not only improve the final flavor of meat products, but also reduce the content of heterocyclic amines in meat products. Conventional methods for nitrile synthesis bring inherent environmental risks due to their reliance on oxidants and harsh reaction conditions. Meanwhile, direct electrooxidation of amines to nitriles suffers from low current density. In this study, we propose an innovative indirect electrooxidation strategy for nitrile formation, mediated by Br−/Br2, utilizing a highly efficient CoS2/CoS@Graphite Felt (GF) electrode. Notably, the anodic nitrile generation can be synergistically coupled with the cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Through meticulous optimization of reaction parameters, we achieve an impressive 98% selectivity for octanenitrile at a current density of 60 mA cm−2 with a remarkable faradaic efficiency (FE) of 87%. Herein, the use of triphenylmethylium tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)borate as an efficient catalyst for the intermolecular dehydrative coupling of p‐hydroxymandelic acid hydrate with substituted aromatic amines and (thio)phenols was developed, which allows for the preparation of arylacetic acid derivatives in a convenient manner. Notably, this method offers several advantages, including being prefunctionalization free, high atom efficiency, and high regioselectivity. Additionally, it exhibits a broad substrate scope, enabling the synthesis of a range of arylacetic acid derivatives. Furthermore, this method can also be applied to the etherification of arylthiol derivatives, facilitating the preparation of various thiolated products, which would enhance the applicability and potential utility of this method in organic synthesis. A simple and efficient one-pot synthetic protocol has been developed for the synthesis of 3-arylamino-2-polyhydroxyalkyl-substituted indoles by using unprotected sugars and aromatic amines.
