The effect of mitogen (KT-30), forchlorfenuron (cppu), gibberellic acid (GA3), microbe solution (Y) for berry enlargement, fruit set ratios, flower-fruit retention and fruit quality on hairy grape has been investigated. Using Hairy grape (Yeniang number 2) with three-years-old hermaphrodite flower as materials, the first time of instantaneous dipping treatment with various growth regulators or their mixed solution for fruit cluster was carried out, with the water as control, at earlier stage in fruit bearing time when the young fruit size was the same as mung bean at 7 days after full-bloom stage. The fruit clusters or fruits were sprayed with the growth regulators for the second time at 15 days after the first treatment with growth regulators. The result showed: The effects of the treatments of D (cppu-2), A (cppu-1), L (cppu-1), G had more effective than those of the other treatments, they were effective for berry enlargement, ear growth and fruit set ratios. In conclusion, the plant growth regulators, such as KT-30, cppu, GA3, could effectively promote berry enlargement and improve fruit quality, the results also indicate the effectiveness of data analysis in this study with the gray system theory. The best general effect of all the treatments was treatment D (cppu-2). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
