Fortunately, driven by the emerging technologies, a systematic satellite-aerial-terrestrial integrated network has become an ideal choice for future Internet architecture through integrating terrestrial networks and nonterrestrial networks to achieve unified and efficient resource utilizing and network constructing. In the aspect of architecture design, because the UAV is the feasible options for deploying 5G services on demand, the paper entitled "The role of UAVs and mmWave in 5G: recent advances and challenge" by Shah Khalid Khan et al comprehensively surveys the state-of-art techniques in 5G-UAV relay networks, especially focuses on UAV relay architectures, identifies the relevant gaps, and challenges in the deployment of 5G-UAV relay networks. Despite the cellular system, unmanned aerial vehicle networks (UAVs), and satellite communication have made brilliant achievements and promoted great progress of human society, it would still exist diverse challenges in the face of future intelligent connection and global random access for the continuous independent development of terrestrial and nonterrestrial networks.
