A relevant proportion of patients suffer from long-lasting impairments following an acute SARS-CoV-2 infection. The proposed post-COVID syndrome (PCS) score may improve comparison in the course and classification of affected patients. A prospective cohort of 952 patients presenting to the post-COVID outpatient clinic at Jena University Hospital, Germany, was enrolled. Patients received a structured examination. PCS score was calculated per visit. A total of 378 (39.7%) and 129 (13.6%) patients of the entire population visited the outpatient clinic two or three times, respectively (female: 66.4%; age: 49.5 (SD = 13) years). The initial presentation took place, on average, 290 (SD = 138) days after acute infection. The most frequently reported symptoms were fatigue (80.4%) and neurological impairments (76.1%). The mean PCS scores of patients with three visits were 24.6 points (SD = 10.9), 23.0 points (SD = 10.9) and 23.5 points (SD = 11.5) (p = 0.407), indicating moderate PCS. Female sex (p < 0.001), preexisting coagulation disorder (p = 0.021) and coronary artery disease (p = 0.032) were associated with higher PCS scores. PCS is associated with a multitude of long-lasting problems. The PCS score has proven its capability to objectify and quantify PCS symptoms in an outpatient setting. Our understanding of the Moon has advanced greatly over the last several decades thanks to analyses of Apollo samples and lunar meteorites, and recent lunar orbital missions. Notably, it is now thought that the lunar poles may be much more enriched in H 2 O and other volatile chemical species than the equatorial regions sampled during the Apollo missions. The equatorial regions sampled, themselves, contain more H 2 O than previously thought. A new lunar mission to a polar region is therefore of great interest; it could provide a measure of the sources and processes that deliver volatiles while also evaluating the potential in situ resource utilization value they may have for human exploration. In this study, we determine the optimal sites for studying lunar volatiles by conducting a quantitative GIS-based spatial analysis of multiple relevant datasets. The datasets include the locations of permanently shadowed regions, thermal analyses of the lunar surface, and hydrogen abundances. We provide maps of the lunar surface showing areas of high scientific interest, including five regions near the lunar north pole and seven regions near the lunar south pole that have the highest scientific potential according to rational search criteria. At two of these sites—a region we call the “Intercrater Polar Highlands” (IPH) near the north pole, and Amundsen crater near the south pole—we provide a more detailed assessment of landing sites, sample locations, and exploration strategies best suited for future human or robotic exploration missions. Quantum coherent transport of surface states in a mesoscopic nanowire of the three-dimensional topological insulator Bi2Se3 is studied in the weak-disorder limit. At very low temperatures, many harmonics are evidenced in the Fourier transform of Aharonov-Bohm oscillations, revealing the long phase coherence length of spin-chiral Dirac fermions. Remarkably, from their exponential temperature dependence, we infer an unusual \/T power law for the phase coherence length Lφ(T).
