Consulta en la Biblioteca ETSI Industriales (8412), [ES] Los objetivos fijados en el presente proyecto son los siguientes: ¿ Hacer un exhaustivo trabajo de campo que permita disponer de un inventario de todos los elementos que componen la red de riego desde la instalación de bombeo en cabeza hasta los elementos de riego instalados en cada sector, realizando a su vez un contraste entre los datos disponibles por el servicio de infraestructuras del Campus de Vera en lo que a trazado y diámetros de conducciones se refiere. De esta forma, se va a tener la red perfectamente definida de cara a futuras modificaciones. ¿ Una vez definida la red, se emplearán los datos obtenidos en campo en para generar un modelo informático con el programa de análisis y simulación de redes hidráulicas EPANET. De esta manera, se dispondrá de una herramienta que permita el estudio de modificaciones hidráulicas en la red y valorar su conveniencia. ¿ Con el modelo informático como apoyo, estudiar el funcionamiento hidráulico d la red y detectar problemas y puntos críticos para poder actuar sobre ellos y ajustar así diversos parámetros hidráulicos. ¿ Estudiar las secuencias y volúmenes de riego actualmente aplicados y ofrecer una alternativa basada en un estudio de necesidades hídricas del jardín. ¿ Ofrecer alternativas que mejoren la eficiencia en la gestión de la red de riego. ¿ Diseñar un sistema de drenaje que evacúe el agua que no se puede eliminar de forma natural de las zonas con drenaje deficiente.

High concentrations of geogenic arsenic (As) and fluoride (F-) in groundwater have been reported at elevated concentrations in different parts of the Chaco-Pampean Plain, in Argentina, where more than 2 million people may be exposed to high levels of these toxic elements through drinking water. Groundwater from the shallow aquifer is far exceeding the permissible WHO Standard limits of 10 μg/L for As and 1.5 mg/L for fluoride, as well as the Argentinean Standard limit of 50 μg/L for As. Geogenic As results due to the weathering of ash originated by volcanic eruptions from the Andean Cordillera and transported by wind and deposited along with the sediments and also as discrete layers and lenses over large geographical area containing around 90% of rhyolitic glass. Groundwater is hosted in a sandy silty interconnected system of aquifers and aquitards within the The Pampean aquifer. A total of 44 groundwater samples were collected from the shallow aquifers in NE of La Pampa province. Two rural areas covering an area of 600km2 in Quemú Quemú (QQ) and 300km2 in Intendente Alvear (IA) were investigated in the present study. Groundwater was circum-neutral to alkaline (pH 7.43-9.18), predominantly oxidizing (Eh ~0.24 V) with widely variable EC range (456-11,400 μS/cm). The major cation dissolved in groundwater was Na+, while the predominant anions were HCO3-, Cl- and SO42-, respectively. Water type in QQ was mostly Na-HCO3- while in IA, the composition differed between Na-HCO3- and Na-Cl-SO42- water types. Groundwater composition showed high degree of mineralization and high salinity evidenced by high EC. In discharge areas, high evaporation rates result in high salinity of shallow groundwater and visible salts incrustations on the surface of the lakes. Elevated concentrations of NO3- and PO43- observed in some wells indicated possible anthropogenic contamination. Total As concentration in groundwater from QQ ranged from 5.58 to 535 μg/L, where 94% of the wells exceeded the, QC 20150204

Con el interés creciente por llevar a cabo química sostenible, desde hace unos años la química orgánica está cambiando hacia el desarrollo de nuevos métodos de síntesis enantioselectivos y de alto rendimiento, mediante procedimientos de naturaleza catalítica. Hasta hace poco, los catalizadores empleados para tal efecto pertenecían a dos grupos: (a) complejos de metales de transición y (b) enzimas, pero la elevada toxicidad de los metales y la gran especificidad de las enzimas, los ha limitado considerablemente. Para solventar este problema, ha surgido recientemente un tercer tipo de catalizadores complementarios, que se encuentra entre ambos y a los que se les conoce con el nombre de organocatalizadores. Surge de esta manera, un nuevo tipo de catálisis, la organocatálisis asimétrica, la cual puede definirse como el empleo de sustancias orgánicas sencillas quirales para la activación de los sustratos. Su llegada proporcionó una nueva perspectiva de la catálisis debido al potencial ahorro en costes, tiempo y energía, además de un procedimiento experimental más sencillo, y una reducción de residuos químicos. La ausencia de metales en las reacciones hace a esta metodología muy interesante desde el punto de vista de la mitigación del impacto ambiental y hace que sea especialmente interesante para llevar a cabo transformaciones químicas para la preparación de productos farmacéuticos.

El objeto de esta tesina es la investigación de la respuesta estructural de las vigas metálicas con sección doble-T sometidas a solicitaciones de flexión, cortante y carga concentrada. El objetivo principal de la investigación es analizar la respuesta estructural de este tipo de vigas sometidas al efecto combinado de las diferentes solicitaciones, comprobar y mejorar si es necesario la propuesta de Braun para la ecuación de interacción de las tres fuerzas actuando simultáneamente. En el presente documento se han desarrollado modelos numéricos para investigar la respuesta estructural, para ello se han modelizado las vigas con la ayuda del programa d elementos finitos Ansys v11.0 herramienta informática ampliamente contrastada. Los diferentes modelos numéricos se han contrastado utilizando investigaciones previas realizadas en este campo. Con los modelos numéricos se ha llevado a cabo un estudio paramétrico para investigar el efecto de los distintos parámetros en la respuesta estructural. Con el objetivo de verificar la ecuación de interacción los siguientes dominios han sido comprobados V-F, M-F, V-M y la toda la superficie de la ecuación de interacción V-M-F. Los resultados del estudio paramétrico han sido analizados de acuerdo con los modelos resistentes de Ansys y los incluidos en la actual publicación de EN 1993 1-5. Después del análisis de los resultados obtenidos en el estudio paramétrico se ha propuesto una modificación en la ecuación de interacción desarrollada por Braun. En el presente documento también se ha estudiado el comportamiento estructural de vigas metálicas con rigidizadores longitudinales, para ello la misma estrategia definida anteriormente se ha utilizado.

This work investigates the very low frequency (VLF) modulation of QRS slopes and heart rate variability (HRV). Electrocardiogram (ECG) and respiratory flow signal were acquired from patients with dilated cardiomyopathy and ischemic cardiomyopathy. HRV as well as the upward QRS slope (IUS) and downward QRS slope (IDS) were extracted from the ECG. The relation between HRV and QRS slopes in the VLF band was measured using ordinary coherence in 5-minute segments. Partial coherence was then used to remove the influence that respiration simultaneously exerts on HRV and QRS slopes. A statistical threshold was determined, below which coherence values were considered not to represent a linear relation., Postprint (published version)

Groundwater contamination with elevated Arsenic (As) and other toxic trace elements has been studied in the central part of the vast Chaco-Pampean Plain, in the city of Quemú Quemú, northeastern La Pampa, Argentina. The groundwater samples were mostly alkaline with pH ranging up to 9.18, oxidizing and characterized by high EC. The concentration of total As (5.58-535 μg/L) and fluoride (0.5-14.2 mg/L) in some samples exceeded the recommended WHO drinking water guideline and the Argentine national drinking water standard. Arsenic was positively correlated with bicarbonate (HCO 3 -), Boron (B), Fluoride (F) and Vanadium (V). We present and numerically solve a modified form of the equation of motion for a charged particle under the influence of an external force, taking into account the radiation reaction. This covariant equation is integrodifferential, as Dirac-R\"ohrlich's, but has several technical improvements. First, the equation has the form of the second Newton law, with acceleration isolated on the left hand side, and the force depending only on positions and velocities: thus, the equation is linear in the highest derivative. Second, the total four-force is by construction perpendicular to the four-velocity. And third, if the external force vanishes for all future times, the total force and the acceleration automatically vanish at present time. We show the advantages of this equation by solving it numerically for several examples of external force., Comment: Added a detailed comparison with the known motion, including energy loss, of a charged particle in a constant and uniform magnetic field. A novel study on the influence of external Brønsted acids on thiourea catalysts in the asymmetric Friedel–Crafts alkylation of indoles with nitroalkenes is reported. The final 3-substituted indole derivatives were synthesized with better results because of cooperative effects between the chiral thiourea and a Brønsted acid additive (1a·HA). The effects of diverse catalysts, different acid additives, solvents, and temperatures in the reaction were also explored. The high reactivity and selectivity of the reaction is presumptively attributed to an appropriate assembly between the Brønsted acid and the thiourea structure, affording a more acidic and rigid catalytic complex.

[EN] A review focused on recent advances in intramolecular aza-Wittig reaction of phosphazenes with several carbonyl or analogous compounds is reported. Phosphazenes afford intramolecular aza-Wittig reaction with different groups within the molecule as aldehydes, ketones, esters, thioesters, amides, anhydrides and sulfimides. One of the most important applications of this reaction is the synthesis of a wide range of heterocyclic compounds, ranging from simple monocyclic compounds to complex polycyclic and macrocyclic systems.
